Are pie the second day for whatever reason was slightly undercooked and just seemed to be a little bit different but nonetheless we liked it so we came back in the third day unfortunately they didn't have any meat at that time. But is this not evidence that we absolutely loved their berry pie? They're very popular every time we went. There was always a line, but it does move fast. There's minimal indoor and outdoor seating very quaint very casual but very friendly & very quick service.

Recently they've started selling some food at Stay Wild in Pemberton as well, which is convenient if I can't make it to the industrial. I guess my expectations were a little too high and my eyes ordered more than I should have. Ordered 2 cinnamon rolls and a long John. I was quite disappointed in both. The cinnamon rolls were quite dry and not enough ooey gooey cinnamon, butter and sugar filling. The frosting doesn't quite melt either. It was only when you got to the center was when the cinnamon rolls were soft with filling. The other parts are just dry and flavorless. The long John was also underwhelming. They used the same frosting as the cinnamon rolls inside the long John. I guess I'm used to more of a custard filling. Sadly, I'm still in search of a great cinnamon roll in Whistler.

We thought it was a fluke because of a recent Pemberton Fire with a lot of employees living there, etc. Then we went back tonight at 6 PM again for dessert and they were closed again. Two employees are in there, but the lights are off and they won't answer the door. There's a big sign that says they're open till 7 PM every day. It's the owner's choice what time she chooses to stay open till, but your signage needs to reflect your actual hours consistently. Also, your Yelp hours need to be accurate too. People drive all the way over here and pay for parking and then you're closed. It's extremely disappointing and I've been supporting your business since around 2007.

The one matcha went to my mom, and it seemed like she got the scraps of it because it looked and tasted pretty watery. I got a chai latte which was pretty good but a little grainy. The food on the other hand was really good. I got the buckwheat pancakes and tried some of the smoothie bowl. The pancakes were hearty and fluffy, topped with a delicious berry chia jam and cashew cream. The plate came with 3 small-ish pancakes which was a satisfying portion that wasn't too much. We were also asked if we wanted maple syrup with the pancakes, but I ended up not needing to add any because the jam and cream were enough. Maple syrup is $2 for a small cup so I would recommend skipping it unless you really want something sweeter. The jam and cream are just modestly sweet which was perfect for me. The blueberry smoothie bowl was also delicious and came with lots of toppings - their granola had a delightful texture. It was a bit of a wait for food, so ordering the breakfast plates is probably not the best option if you're in a hurry, but they have ready-to-eat stuff available if you do want something quick, and the drinks didn't take long. I would be interested in coming back to try more of the food menu if I were in Whistler again.
