Excellent service by Trenton who made great suggestions and all our questions were answered regarding menu choices. We had brisket, ribs, average joes, and pig mac... all delicious with generous portions! The ribs fell off the bone, and sandwiches original and creative. Smoke is a treasure with visiting- highly recommend grabbing lunch or dinner here!

Sadly, I would not recommend this place. The building is freezing cold to "keep the bugs out" and the food took hours to come out. Once we received the food it was not our favorite. The fries were soggy and the burger was not good. However, our waiter was very nice and continued to check up on us since our food took so long. She took our appetizer off the bill which was nice of her...however, will I come back? Unfortunately, no!

We came here after a eventful time rafting. There were eleven of us and we were seated almost immediately. Our server came, greeted us and took our drink orders almost immediately. We placed a few orders for appetizers and conversed while waiting for it to come out. Here's when the concerns start taking place. Only half of our appetizers came out, and the other half wasn't brought out for 30 additional minutes for fried pickles. There was a large group next to us (about 30 people) and our server was the only one assisting that table. We sat down at 8:15 and our official order wasn't placed until 9:45 when the establishments closed at 10pm. I didn't understand one server being seated with two large parties without assistance. I didn't understand closing out the 30 persons tab before taking our order. I got up twice to ask another server for assistance, still no avail! It wasn't until the second time that someone came over to take our tables order. While the food was good, it was luke warm and my brisket had a mix of pork and chicken. I don't eat chicken and I am allergic to pork. I noticed a small reaction, therefore I stopped eating. Overall under different circumstances this could have easily been a 5/5 experience. However it was not- and with the automatic grat, the service was as good as expected.

Great food, great atmosphere and fabulous service! Vert friendly staff. Even though our server was not familiar with some of if the items he was able to get someone who was to answer our questions. The food was delicious, bbq had 3 different sauces all were great, everything was served promptly and hot. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Visited Columbus for the day and tried this place out. It's pretty spacious and one side of the restaurant can open (like sliding garage doors) for outdoor seating if you want. Seating was pretty quick for a party of 6 during Saturday lunch hour. Tried the house margarita and it was great! More on the sweeter side and the glass was bigger than I expected. Food was very good, but we noticed it wasn't very hot, more so just a barely warm. It didn't bother us too much and we still enjoyed the food. The wait did take a while before our food finally came out to us, so I would say come if you have time to spare!

This place was cool. Kind of small and very relaxed atmosphere. Our bartender was fine. I think her name was Jackie. Not overly personable, and moderately attentive, also a non-drinker which was interesting to some of the folks in my party. We only came for drinks. My brother in law had a peach cobbler bourbon which was just OK for him. My husband didn't comment on his drink and my sister enjoyed hers. We got some tips on where to go from a local and he said the food was just OK. But the menu offerings seemed tasty. I might try it if I'm ever back in the area.

Service was prompt and great. Straightforward ambiance with no frills. It's a place to go eat some BBQ and other comfort foods. The Brisket Rueben didn't quite scratch my itch for a Rueben, but was tasty overall due to the flavorful pulled brisket. Lacking the tartness of sauerkraut and the kick if the thousand island dressing. Was more if a brisket melt - a bit on the greasy side, but decadent overall. Recommend not to get the fried okra, it was stringy and didn't compliment the sandwich well. Next time I would try something a bit more bright and refreshing, maybe the slaw? The devil went down to Georgia was a good hit -- nice pairing of salty, savory, and sweet. If you're a fan of chicken and waffles, you will like this. Cheesy grits was okay - a bit bland so needed a bit of sauce, either ketchup or hot sauce to brighten it up. But warm and comforting overall.

Went in for lunch and had a yummy Brisket Reuben. It could've had a little more of their BBQ Thousand Island on it, but otherwise, delicious! The French fries were nice and crispy as well. The place also features a number of craft beers on tap and fun cocktails, if that's more your speed. I sat at the bar and was well taken care of. Would definitely return to try some other dishes.

The brisket was chewy and tasted like it was cooked in a crock pot. The service was friendly though.

Was told by my colleagues that the Parker house rolls and cinnamon butter was great. I had the summer salad (spring greens, cherries, strawberries, and a HUGE knot of burrata cheese, with an additional grilled salmon). This salad was incredible. Highly recommend! The table shared some deviled eggs. The pickled onions on the deviled eggs was so good. Everyone dipped their fries in the chili crisp oil and agreed it was one of the best flavor combos of the trip. Our server gave us an extra side of it and gave my friend a side of kimchi to add to his burger. Just great all around service and vibe. While the restaurant feels like the height of 2015-2020 design (let's road trip in our sprinter van to a shipping container cottage!), everything feels airy and good to be there

Later that Wednesday evening, as the restaurant settled into a softer, more intimate glow, we opted…read morefor the main dining room rather than the rooftop. The hostess was warm and efficient, seating us immediately. Our server approached with the quiet confidence of someone who knows her craft--she was direct, professional, and all business in the best possible way. Even as closing time drew near, she kept my glass refreshed without needing to be asked, a small but telling detail that spoke volumes about her attentiveness. The space itself strikes a pleasant semi-formal note--clean, polished, and respectful without veering into stuffy territory. Behind the bar, the bartender was meticulously wiping down every bottle, a quiet display of care that set a tone of genuine pride in the operation. We began with a dozen oysters: six raw and six char-grilled. The raw specimens were on the petite side for the price, yet delivered a clean, bright, and pleasantly saline flavor that let the oyster speak for itself. The char-grilled version arrived with a savory Parmesan crust that brought its own appealing character--rich, cheesy, and nicely caramelized in a way that felt unique rather than derivative. The crab dip, however, was a standout. Far superior to the often disappointing versions we've encountered elsewhere, this one tasted of genuine lump crab meat, folded into a properly cheesy, indulgent dip that avoided any unfortunate "buffalo" detours. Served with crisp crostini, each bite was balanced and deeply satisfying--an authentic crab dip done right. The Korean cheesesteak offered an excellent harmony of flavors: tender, well-seasoned meat beneath a luxurious blanket of melted cheese, punctuated by the bright, spicy kick of kimchi and the refreshing snap of pickles. It was delicious, though for the price, I wished for a more generous filling and a bit more heft to the sandwich overall. The mac & cheese arrived in a commendably generous portion, with a beautiful Parmesan crust on top. Visually appealing, the dish unfortunately fell a touch flat on the palate. The noodles were properly cooked and coated in a creamy sauce, yet it lacked the depth and seasoning one hopes for-- a pinch more salt and pepper would have elevated it considerably. The fish and chips presented a towering mound of fries that carried decent flavor but lacked the shattering crispness one craves. The real disappointment lay in the presentation of the fish: two fillets stacked atop one another, causing the steaming heat to turn the once-promising breading soggy and prone to sliding off. That said, the fish itself was excellent--flaky, moist, and delicately sweet with a lovely buttery quality. It was the unfortunate interaction between steam and crust that kept the dish from greatness. The roads were a little dense, so not necessarily my particular style, but I'm good. The butter that came with them was very unique to say the least. To drink, both beers arrived filled to the absolute brim and proved so enjoyable that I would gladly order them again without hesitation. Overall, the evening delivered solid, thoughtful plates in a well-run environment, with several bright spots that make a return visit tempting--particularly for those oysters and that excellent crab dip.
