And about 100% of the time I'm in the area I'm there to eat. But I happened upon Trichome with a friend the other day and my life is forever changed. Not just because of this store, but because places like this exist there. Truly though, this was the coolest store we popped into that day. So much to look at! There's clothing, there's art, there are gift items, jewelry, and more. In fact, you can't get 2 feet into the space without noticing the kick ass, fully functioning arcade games by the door! They host events often (like nail art parties, art walk events, and glass testing shindigs). There's an upper level perfect for a DJ - and more shopping! And really it's just an awesome place for folks to hang out and buy one-of-a-kind, unique items. The plus side is that they have a lot of really cool, artisianal pieces, the down side being the price. That said -- this is not mass produced Chinese glass, the items here are either made by local artisits or American made and their prices reflect that. Can't speak to the overall knoweldge of the employees, I was there for a very speicific product, which was located quickly and I was happily on my way. Even if you're not currently in the martket to buy something, it's still a fun place to window shop.
