You proudly has your table runner over both booths. Then basically shamed me in to taking down my original review because I was trying to "destroy a small business". No, you are. At a convention they apparently let some one use there booth to also sell stuff. The man at the booth told the price of an item was 30 dollars and when I said how cheap that was, the man started boasting about his prices. When I sent him the 30 he looked at me and said "Where's the rest?" I was confused and said he said it was 30 dollars and the guy laughed "Oh, you thought 30 dollars, no it's 30,000 dollars." Even my friend said to him he told me 30 dollars. He gave me my money back and I came home and wrote a 1 star review. Then one of the guys at his booth was just laughing at us. About a week later I got a Facebook message from some one who turned out to be the owner basically saying it wasn't him and it was some one he was letting use his banner. So I asked how you can see I would think it was your table and he basically told me no, he has zero responsibility to it and I'm just trying to destroy a small business and I should feel bad. So instead of this man trying to extend some kind of olive branch and figure out what happened, he basically just in guns blazing and saying I was just trying to destroy a small business. I was/still am going through a lot family stuff so I just placated him and said I would remove the review, basically because I didn't need anymore stress in my life. But I do want to post this and let people know he will go out his way to track you down on social media. Instead of trying to take responsibility, it was everyone else's fault. It's not me trying to destroy his business, it's him. If you came to me with out the attitude and took some blame for the mess up of some one vending at a table with your table runner on it, I'd go the extra mile and say how great you were. Instead I have avoided your booth like the plague and have not returned to you store. I visited twice and thought it was a nice little shop. I have friends who play there and say they only do so because they have no where else to go. He is also a trump supporter from his response on my google review, which made many people I showed it to said it would make them feel unsafe to enter his store. Be careful at their booths at conventions. If they scam you, its not there fault they let someone else vend from their table.

The owner is himself a model builder and is knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to chat with. Overall this place is easy to recommend. When you're driving by, go slow because it's easy to miss the store. It's on one side of a strip mall and given the nearby tree coverage it's easy to miss.

RC cars are designed to break in certain areas to prevent other areas from getting damaged, and ordering parts and repairing the RC cars and planes is a HUGE part of the hobby and an important learning lesson for kids. That being said when I went in there were only kids working the shop, but one of the gentlemen/kids was pretty knowledgeable. I think for what it is this is a good shop with a variety of things to offer. A 1 star review about not being able to use the bathroom is just rude and should not be warranted. I also thought for the stores location being in a upscale neighborhood the prices are decent. Also, about 3 years ago I stopped by with my younger brother and they let us drive the RC cars around in the parking lot which was fun.

The paint section, for instance, was all but non-existent, with some paint being dried up and their containers shrunk and shriveled from age and exposure to the solvents within them. The owner/salesman was horribly disrespectful to him. They had an oil-free air compressor there, but it looked like it had been sitting on the shelf since the late 80s (and still full price!) So, unless they plan on surviving on their train section, I'm not sure what their game plan is. But based on the way they treated my son, that's not really my concern. Would not recommend.
