I enjoyed a very good BBQ lunch from this new BBQ House in Chula Vista. I ordered the Beef Ribs Nachos, the Smoked Pork Spare Ribs, and an order of Wings. For my ribs, I had the side of onion rings and the Pork Belly Wings. The smoked ribs were great. The meat was super tender and fell off the bones easily. It was well seasoned and offer a nice smoke flavor. The penetration of the smoke was very evident based on the pinkish color of the meat. Great smoke ring. The onion rings were abundant and crispy. They came with whole onions inside and were tasty. The pork belly beans were good, but I would have liked a little more pieces of pork belly in the beans. As for the wings, the server recommended the Tamarindo Chiltepin sauce, which was a great choice. The flavor of the sauce was great. It was a little sweet and had a very good flavor. The wings were tender and meaty. The nachos were good. They definitely do not hold back on the toppings. The tortilla chips are made in house and are of the thicker casero variety or homemade. They were well seasoned. Did I love the idea of Velveta cheese on my nachos? Probably not, but it worked here. The cheese was creamy and easily ladled onto the tortilla chips. The nachos are definitely meant for sharing, given their size. The beef meat was very tender and tasty. The service was friendly. I liked that they took the time to make suggestions and go over the menu in a casual manner. It was not rushed, so I had to relax before I ordered. They are located right next door to Farmer's Table and Acqua E Farina and are open for lunch and dinner. They have a great happy hour, too. There's inside and outside seating available with plenty of television around for sports viewing. If you like corn hole, they have that too!

Smoke & Glory is located in a Chula Vista suite adjacent to a popular brunch restaurant. You can park in the structure behind the building where there were plenty of open spots. There was a large outdoor space with picnic tables if you wanted to dine al fresco. The inside seating featured ten high chairs around a bar along with tables and booths. The ambiance resembled a cross between a barn and a lodge. Happy Hour was offered between 2 and 5 pm daily. A separate menu was dedicated for that time period with discounts on twelve food choices, draft beers, well drinks, and cocktails. The main menu was divided into appetizers and BBQ plates in the left column. Burgers, sandwiches, a hot dog, and a burrito were in the middle of the page. Salads, flatbread, sides, and family combos made up the right column. To my disappointment, there were only three BBQ Plate choices... Smoked Chicken, Smoked BBQ Pork Rib, and Smoked BBQ Dino Beef Rib. Nearly every barbeque joint I have visited offers brisket and pulled pork by the pound. This place made those meats available only as a sandwich. It shouldn't be difficult to modify the menu to sell those two items a la carte or as part of a plate. My selection was the Smoked BBQ Dino Beef Rib (1 bone) plate which came with two small sides. I picked the Mac and Cheese and Pork Belly Beans. A metal tray was delivered to my table with pickled onions, a dill pickle, and a couple of pieces of bread as sides. The bone was large with plenty of sauced meat. The tenderness was okay, but I have experienced better "fall off the bone." The mac and cheese was creamy. The beans were contained in a salty, watery gravy that resembled a soup. The service was hit and miss as I placed my order at the bar when no server came by my table. The staff did check up on me after delivering the food. For the quality and price of what I tried, I gave a rating between three and four stars for Smoke & Glory.

Smoke & Glory BBQ on F Street in Chula Vista, CA

First time trying Smoke & Glory BBQ located on F Street in Chula Vista, CA. The restaurant opened its doors in February of 2026 and it's next to Farmer's Table. Both restaurants have the same owner. Smoke and Glory BBQ is Kansas City style BBQ & NOT Texas style BBQ very different flavor. I prefer Texas style but there's a following in San Diego for Kansas City style BBQ. We really enjoyed the following and would order again: -TJ Nachos with beef ribs. It had pico de gallo, guacamole, jalapeños, velveeta cheese and Oaxacan cream (5/5) stars. -Bread Pudding dessert (5/5) stars it was OUTSTANDING! It had ice cream and blueberry sauce. A must try!! -Smoke BBQ Pork Ribs (6) with cole slaw and pork belly beans in BBQ sauce. The sides were excellent!! I'm not a fan of Kansas City style BBQ especially, their sauce. I found my rib order a bit dry, but you may enjoy this plate. I rate the ribs (4/5) stars. There's indoor and outdoor seating with screens TV's to watch your favorite sports game. They have a lot of room for large groups. Happy hour is daily from 2pm-5pm, $6 draft beers, $10 House Cocktails. We had excellent customer service by our server Jose and manager Denise who took the time to come over to make sure we enjoyed our dinner. The service was a 5/5 stars and restaurant was very clean. The staff worked together as a team to clean our table and refill our drinks which we really appreciated. Get $10 off your next visit when you sign up on their website to stay up to date with their specials, events, promotions etc. Go on their website for additional details. I look forward to going back and trying their flatbreads and BBQ sandwiches next time. There's free parking available behind the restaurant. Give this restaurant a try! Happy Yelping :)

Came here for a date night with the wifey and honestly... this spot surprised me. From what I understand, it used to be more farm-to-table, but now it's like 3 concepts in one which is actually pretty cool. Gives you options depending on what you're craving. We went the BBQ route and I'm just happy Chula Vista finally has something like this. wasn't too packed (yet), but I'd love to see this place cracking. They've got TVs for games, a nice outdoor patio, and it just feels like a spot you can post up with friends or bring the family. I got the dino ribs with onion rings, wifey got a piña colada mocktail (they hooked it up since she's pregnant and I kept it simple with a bubbly drink. The house sauce and habanero sauce were definitely the highlight. BBQ itself? Good, not mind-blowing, but solid enough where I'd come back especially since we don't have a ton of BBQ options out here. Overall this is one of those places you want to support. Chula Vista has a lot to offer, we just gotta show up for spots like this so they stick around. I'll be back!!

Good food & generously portioned. We came for lunch, there was plenty of room & service on point. Priced well, will be back.

New BBQ spot in Chula Vista *Casual, spacious vibe this place is going to be SO good in the summer. Plenty of parking (huge win). *Service was great. Favorites: * Pork ribs solid. * Sliders on brioche bread super tasty, definitely ordering again. The nachos were just okay for me. Not bad, just not my favorite item. Now... I love onion rings, so I had to try them. They came out undercooked and the breading was falling apart. We gave feedback to our server they were kind and offered to remove them from the bill, but we declined. We enjoy trying new spots and giving honest feedback so the next guest gets an even better experience. Happy hour is a vibe Had the Paloma and the Los Altos drink both were great. We'll be back to try more!

I noticed a new bbq had opened in Chula Vista and I gave them a try.  The setup confused me.  The entrance has signs for Farmer's Table and Smoke & Glory.  There was a huge line for Farmer's Table on a Sunday at 11am but I was the only one in Smoke & Glory which was the left part of the building. There was the delicious scent of bbq in the air.  I started with a complimentary soda water.  It was not good.  Tasted like half regular water and half soda water.  Made me long for Costco.  They have really good soda water now that the Coke machines are back. Kielbasa sausage was tender and juicy.  Full of flavor and a bit of heat.  This was likely the best part of my meal. Fries were crispy and had a nice fried potato flavor.  I expected them to be hot out of the fryer but they were more lukewarm like they had been sitting out for a bit.  I tried to order onion rings but they were out. 2 beef ribs were huge and made for 2 meals.  Beef was extremely tender and moist.  Very good quality beef.  I liked the sweet sauce that was glazed on top.  Overall flavor was very light.  I would have liked more smoky aroma and more dry rub.  I usually get beef ribs at Julian Beer Company where their ribs have a ton of smoky flavor and a ton of peppery dry rub.  Ribs were also lukewarm.  I prefer them hot out of the smoker.  I tried the bbq sauce from the bottle but it didn't taste as good as the bbq sauce that had caramelized on the ribs.  I took most of the ribs home and reheated them.  They tasted better at the proper temperature. Staff was nice but not very informative as when I asked what kind of wood they smoke with and was told they use wood.  Smoke a& Glory could be really good with better quality control. This isn't the place for me though as I like my food hot out of the kitchen.

    BBQ Chicken Sandwich

This is a new bbq spot that just opened up in Chula Vista in the same building as Farmer's Table. I went during the weekday for lunch and the staff was very attentive and had good service. The food came out pretty quickly as well. I ordered the bbq chicken sandwich which comes with fries, pickle, and red onions. The bbq chicken sandwich was really flavorful and super filling. The chicken is shredded with texture reminding of a pulled pork sandwich and it was not dry at all. The cole slaw gave a nice refreshing crunch to the sandwich. They give generous portions and it's a large hefty sandwich for only $16! There are plenty of seats indoor and outdoor and it is a very clean place. I really enjoyed the food here and will come back to try their other menu items! For parking I recommend using the parking garage next door which has 3 hours free and plenty of spots.

Came in on a nice afternoon, curious about the BBQ and casual vibe. The place surprised us with how much space there is -- a huge, shaded outdoor patio with umbrellas and also a full bar and restaurant inside. Food-wise, the 6-piece pork ribs were tender and actually charred the way they should be, served with a really solid cheddary cavatappi mac n' cheese. My bison burger came thick and juicy, paired with starchy, extra-crispy fries that were exactly right. They've got a decent drink menu with drafts on tap and some nice non-alcoholic options too. Service was quick and attentive. Parking is genuinely great -- covered garage, no hunting around. One small thing: there's no front-of-house hostess, so we weren't entirely sure if we should grab our own table or wait, but it worked out fine. For the food quality and portions, it's a good value. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu.

    Mocktail "Smokey Garden"

My friend and I stopped by here for lunch yesterday as we were excited to try this new BBQ place in Chula Vista. So glad we did. We got the Trio Tacos as an appetizer to share. Which was a great way to try a variety of their meat options. My friend got the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato Fries and I got the Brisket Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was so good, meat was tender and excellent quality, smokey flavor, good portions, burger was juicy, fries were a nice balance of crispy and soft, wonderful balance of flavors throughout. I also asked if they had any alcohol free mocktails and Guillermo, the manager, made me a "Smokey Garden" (mocktail of a Mama Mia). Wow it was amazing! Fresh berries throughout, with just the right amount of ginger beer. My friend got the Glory Old Fashion which she really loved, nice smokey flavor. We chose to sit outside on their lovely patio. Protection from the sun and heat lamps if you need them. We got our food hot and in good time. Our server, Dany, was very attentive and kind. As was Guillermo. They both were genuinely interested in us having a good time and enjoying our food. I look forward to coming back, maybe to the daily happy hour!

Finally open! We were so excited we immediately came over, it connects from inside farmers table and on the side from th The kids menu is super simple as expected but still over $10 a plate Mac n cheese, tenders, cheese burger, personal pizza Let's start with the good It's super cute the staff are very attentive, portions are a great size A friend gave us the ribs and they were great and what brought us in We had a pulled pork sandwich that was very large chunks of pork. Now it didn't feel like bbq more like shredded baked pork with a gentle sauce? I was expected much much more flavor. The pickled onions were delicious and were a needed addition The smoke and glory burger is supposed to have burnt ends now this southern girl can tell you it was was not burn ends on that burger and just pulled pork That being said the burger patty was Smokey and had great grill char and was cooked perfectly with a pink center There's so much potential here and so much amazing flavor to be developed looking for. Mind back later an trying it again

    Dino bone, baby back ribs
    Miguel B.

Food was decent. Fries were good, Mac was good, potato salad was mas o menos. I came in for the ribs though, I had the Dino rib, excessively fatty, sauce was ok. The owner was kind enough to give me another which was a bit better, still fatty but more meat. Meat was also a bit overseasoned almost salty. My wife did not even finish her baby back ribs either. The quality can use some fine tuning. Just being honest. I saw a video that hyped this place up but I didn't feel it to be that great. Drove here from Oceanside and it didn't feel worth it. At the end of the day we all have personal preferences and taste is subjective. Phil's BBQ is still the best IMO! I'm yet to find a better BBQ and I've been to plenty. The sauce is second to none, tangy with a kick! Take notes!

Savory wings , smash burgers and the best happy hour is here :) …read more I'm so glad I finally returned to this place! The flavor has been consistently amazing, and I've been missing out. Chef, you're doing an incredible job! I recently stopped by for lunch multiple times and tried the smashed western burger for the first time - it was love at first bite! I'm a wing lover with a saucy problem - I just can't choose! Bone-in wings is my go-to order with sauces like sweet red chili ( my favorite) , BOSS, garlic parm buffalo, mango habanero, firecrackers, and coco loco ( for those who like sweet coconut flavor), limiting myself to just two sauces per 10 wings is a real wing-dilemma! My Fav margarita flavor: original and passion fruit but all of the other flavors are also good. I still need to try the pomegranate one . Best Happy Hour in Millenia.$5dll Margarita & 10 wings/$10 (dine in deal). I've had the pleasure of enjoying wonderful service from Paty, always! The ambiance has been consistently pleasant during my visits. Thank you, Paty, for always crafting refreshing Margaritas - you truly make the best! Abu, the owner, also prepares a special and delicious Margarita with Vodka that's definitely worth trying! See you soon :)

I can tell you that all of them are good! This place is much more than wings. The bartenders and servers are super nice. It feels like a family there. They have great Happy Hour menu items as well. The bathrooms are always clean and that's a great sign of how they keep their restaurant. This place has it's locals that are very nice and hang out at the bar.

TL,DR: Outstanding food, priced right, great service and great atmosphere…read more I had driven past this place a few times and the name always cracks me up, reminds me of Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber. My wife tricked me into going with her to Walmart to pick up some shit, so I got to pick the spot for lunch and this is what I picked. Got there about 2 PM on Good Friday and there were a few people there but nothing crazy. Got seated right away and ordered drinks, a Pacifico for me, Sprite for the wifey - got them right away. For food, I got a BBQ bacon cheeseburger with tots, wifey got a regular bacon cheeseburger with everything plus fries, and I was curious so I also got the $10 chocolate (fudge) shake. Shake was delivered first. Expectations were high, and I was not disappointed. The shake was served in the metal tin, made with loads of real ice cream, whipped cream, fudge, drizzle of chocolate syrup, and chocolate sprinkles. Honestly not sure what I was thinking when mixing beer with shake, in hindsight I wouldn't do that again... but it was one of the best shakes I've had in a long while. Burgers came out shortly afterwards. Wifey's was cooked perfectly medium, which is an unusual thing for most burger places these days; most of the time when I order a burger medium, it comes out medium well or well done. These were both perfectly medium. Both burgers came out with a generous amount of potato products, more than either of us could hope to stuff down our gullets in one sitting. The food was outstanding. The service was great. The music was too loud for the wife but it was the kind of music that is supposed to be played loud so no points off for that from me. A nice vibe overall. I'll definitely be back.
