From the moment I arrived, he was very friendly, polite & professional, which made my smog test stress free. Hany the manager was very friendly and professional when I took my 20 year old Mini Cooper for a smog test. Smog was done in 20 minutes and didn't have to wait. Will be sending family and friends to get their smog work done with the Smogman. AAAAA+++++ read more

The owner here is so incredibly nice. They have great prices and will get you in and out as soon as possible. They truly go above and beyond here. My mom also brings her car here so it's become a family thing. But I've been here a few times and each time is a great experience. Definitely come here for any smog check needs. read more

Called to get a quote on a smog test and asked if I needed an appointment. The person who answered was very friendly and gave me the hours he would be available. The place is slightly hidden in an alley but once I found it, I pulled in and got my smog test in like 10 minutes. Good price and the man was very helpful and worked quickly. Definitely recommend this place. read more

I was quoted $50.00 over the phone, but when I arrived, the price was $75.00. After some negotiation, he lowered it to $50.00 but then add on a retest fee of $35.00, bringing the total to $85.00, which is excessive. His claims of not making any money are clearly misleading and unprofessional. Never will I go there. read more

Service was quick but this shop charges for a retest. (Had to retest due to battery being recently swapped out) Guy didn't tell me until after that they charge for a retest. End up spending over 100 bucks for a smog when other shops in town charge about $65 and free re test if fail. read more

I had a vehicle that hadn't been on the road for a few years. All the sensor data was missing. Hany told me what steps I needed to do to complete a "Drive Cycle" The list looked a bit crazy but I did each one as he told me and all the sensor were working and the data was good. Hany is like family. He really treats you right! I had some problems with my car passing smog and he was patient and super helpful. After changing out some parts on my own that he suggested. Hany also lent me a one reader to drive around with til my car cycled and cleared all the codes. I was super thankful and all he said was friendship and kindness are more important than money. I can't recommend Smogman higher. Excellent friendly service and a genuine trustworthy business that helps you out rather than tries to nickel and dime like so many others I've visited. They were also were fine with classic and vintage cars or pre 2000 cars that other smog test centers wouldn't even look at for me in the past. I left as a happy customer and I'll be bringing all my vehicles here in future. Thank you! read more

Quick, fast and convenient. Don't have the DMV letter, Mr. Smogman got you covered. Lol. Just had to say it that way because that is how I felt. I drove there thinking I had the letter to my surprise I didn't. However, Hany didn't fret. Quickly went on and said don't worry. And, he didn't say that out of ignorance. He meant it. Came in because I read the yelp reviews and it was nearby. Was pleased to see that the reviews were accurate. Hany was very nice, knowledgeable and most importantly honest which unfortunately is rare these days. Will be the only place I smog all 4 of my vehicles from now on. read more

They were able to help me with my smog check and let me know what was wrong with my truck all the way around. I needed an oil change and they took care of it no problem. Also was able to tell me which tire pressure sensor was bad and was able to tell me about my stability track. On top of all of that they topped off all my oil and fluids. Check all of my filters. It was just a really good experience that I haven't had from a repair shop in a very long time not even the dealer does it like that anymore. I really appreciate how transparent they are. I am really surprised that good Customer Service still exist. Albert who works at Smogman really went above and beyond helping me out. I have phoned other Test Center and they are all for profit and does not want to run diagnostic on my car without charging for a fee. Smogman checked my vehicle for free to see if it can pass a smog test. After running diagnostics, he suggested that it should be good for a smog test since I ran it for over 100 miles and check engine did not light up. Thankfully, it passed. Others are charging me $40 just to look at it. This guy is very honest and willing to help out. read more
