I wanted to give this local business my support.. Took time off from work thinking I could get in and out within 15 minutes like everyone said... & their sign says no appointments needed. I made it by 4pm and after pulling in they guy literally tells me... "Not today - I'm done for the day" didn't even give tell me to come back the next day or timeframe... nothing ... what a disappointment. Off to Mikes Auto I go... way better reviews anyway. read more

Great, great, great service! Everyone who helped me was so friendly! I was a tad off put by the appearance of the shop. There was no waiting area but one of the guys set up a chair for me while I waited. It took about 20 mins but they were also very busy. $10 off for CSUMB students on yelp! $55 down to $45 for smog! read more

Jeremy was great to deal with. I called in the morning and he said he had an opening at 2:00 pm. Unfortunately, I got tied up at a previous stop and showed up at 2:10. He immediately fit me in and had me in and out within 15 minutes. Incredible service and a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be back with my other vehicles!! read more

No appointment necessary and super nice people. I came towards the end of my lunch and they got me set up right away. Definitely coming back again! And it's affordable! read more

I needed a quick fix, just to rotate the air spring in my suspension, wouldn't have taken more that 5 minutes. I asked if I could pay to use their floor jack for the time, and they told me no. So I asked if I could pay for them to do the work instead, and they also said no. I had to drive my car back to my apartment and use a scissor jack (which still took less than 5 minutes to complete on my own without a lift or actual jack.) The technician I spoke to was rude and didn't take the time to see my problem or help me out. Even after I explained in detail what the issue was and how to fix it. I would give this 0 stars if I could. read more

Easy peasy. In and out in 15 Minutes on a Tuesday Afternoon.

Been here twice now and couldn't be happier. Highly recomend. Jeremy made me an appointment two days out from when I enquired about a smog test on my older pickup. Showed up two days later on time and he quickly preformed and passed a smog check on my truck. read more

I just realized I never reviewed! Had to do the smog inspection back in December. First time doing in CA, so wasn't sure of the drill. Pull up and the guy tells me "you need an appointment" so I kind of was bummed. He looked in my backseat and saw my daughter strapped in her car seat and was "I'll just do it now... I know how it is with kids". Score! Then the tells me that I can check in and get $5 off with a Yelp coupon! You can bet your ass I'll be back when I need them again! read more

Quick, efficient, and friendly. They were able to get me out of there in about 10 or 15 minutes, with no appointment. Cost just over 50$. Definitely would go again. read more

These guys are perfect if you don't feel like spending all day waiting to get your car smogged. Also, don't feel like making an appointment? Just drop by. He got me right in and it only took about 15 minutes. If you need a fancy smog place then go somewhere else, but if you like fast, friendly service (even offered me a chair to sit in while I waited), then come here. I'm smogging to get ready to sell so it helped that there's a discount if you yelp about this place too. Every little bit helps right? Honestly, this is my second time here and I meant to yelp the first time I came. Just a straight forward place with a clear purpose. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended. read more

Great place to get your car smogged. Quick service and the mechanic was very nice. Only thing missing was somewhere inside to sit. It was freezing outside. But the wait wasnt too long so i didnt mind too much. Other than that, great service. Thank you! read more

I had a bad cold in my nose, so I didn't like waiting outside. A senior aged woman was able to get the waiting room unlocked so she could use it. Service is quick on newer cars, but really, I wasn't in any hurry. It seems a lot of these places cut corners so waiting in the car is the only comfortable place if you don't mind smelling the fumes. Weather this time of year is terrible so I really think cheapy smog places owe their customers a few free courtesies. I think the five star customers must drop their car off and go shopping or something. The price was 15 dollars more than the car dealer charged me last time. He lets you wait inside. read more
