Nice works and good service. I bring my car here on Sunday morning and only 15 min. Thanks

The price is 50 now but the gentleman is very quick and doesn't waste your time. No frills or fish tank or fancy stuff but you're in and out quickly. There's a restroom, not Hilton clean but there's a restroom. Try coming on a Saturday at 4PM like me and there's no wait. It's a STAR certified location meaning it's a Test Only shop so if you're unsure whether you need that or not, some cars require STAR Test Only's, so better to be safe than sorry when you're transferring ownership of a vehicle. Anywho, I would recommend this shop. I used to go to TTT Smog, but they've closed down so this is my new smog place. Here's a protip from someone who used to be dirt poor, so you won't fail your smog check... Make sure to fill your gas tank to Full. Drive the car for at least 30 minutes before the test, you gotta get the catalytic converter hot enough to burn all of the unnecessary carbons. If its not hot enough, you'll end up failing your smog check. When you're on the freeway, be sure to gun it to clear out the engine of any built up gunk. Then head towards your smog place, DO NOT turn off your car as it may shutoff the sensors, then you'll have to wait another 10+ minutes for those smog sensors in your car to turn on again. The tech may turn it off but he's only going to do it to check if the Check Engine Light (CEL) works and he's going to turn it right back on quickly. If you still fail, you probably didn't drive it enough or drive it hard enough. If you did and it still fails, you may need a new catalytic converter or 02 sensor and those are not cheap or expensive but yes sorry it you need those items. If it fails the first time, the smog guy will tell you what you need but like I said, if it's all hot enough, you should be fine... Even with an old car with high miles you'll be fine read more

On a Saturday afternoon they were able to provide me with a smog check without a wait! They are handling all of the paperwork to the DMV and they were done within around 20 to 30 minutes. Their prices were reasonable and they provided great customer services. I recommend Smog DOC. read more

Needed a smog asap because I forgot about my registration. Called smog doc and talked to Tim, he told me to come out and he pretty much had me done in 15 mins. Really friendly and professional guy. We talked a bit about cars and other things and he was real genuine. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

details.. .. First smog check for my 2009 Scion tC. tips.. .. Cash only - $40. .. Walk-ins only (but super fast service). .. They're located inside a U shaped plaza next to the Asian Garden Mall. Tight quarters, not too much space to park. prOs.. .. The first time we went in was a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Tim took care of us right away. He immediate noticed the "check engine" light & asked how long it had been on. I told him that it had been maybe a few weeks. He then told me that he wouldn't do the smog check for me until I got the problem fixed because I would definitely fail at that point in time. I really appreciated his honesty because he could have easily charged me to do the check, failed me, & I would've come back a few weeks later to try again. He even gave me very instructions that after I get the problem fixed, I would have to drive my car for at least 150+ miles so that the internal system would reset. .. The second time we went in (a week or two later after we got the problem fixed), Tim was just as helpful as the first time. The smog check itself took only about 5-10 minutes & within another week or two, I got my new stickers. no cOns.. yayy! read more

This is the only smog check place I go to. This guy does it real fast. In and out in about 15 min. I'm the type that doesn't like to wait because I have no patience so this place treats me well. read more

Made the whole process pretty painless :) took about 30 min on a Tuesday around lunchtime. $40. Would def come back again.

Came here for a smog check since they are star certified. The guy that helped me was super friendly. It's kind of a beat up place, but with fair prices and good service, I'll take it. I was in and out very quickly too. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I was referred by a friend. Fast service and great customer service. For sure coming back for my next smog.

This place was totally awesome! I'm so glad I found them on Yelp! This place is really close to where I work so I went on my lunch break. It only took about 20 minutes and only cost me $40! I have a cross-over SUV, so this is a good price. The guy was very straight forward and honest, and gave me all the details of the smog check up front. NOTE: BRING CASH. He only accepts cash here, which is fine because it's so inexpensive. read more

$40 flat, in and out in 10 mins. The guy that helped me out was great! Came on a saturday

I called in a few times and the guys here are always patient with me. I think the first 3 times I called, told them I'd be in but never showed up (I'm horrible, I know) each time they were always willing to stay a bit longer after closing, of course I would always call back and never leave them hanging. (not that horrible).... Well anyway I eventually made it in. The place is a little difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area. I met Tim and he's that one that did my smog check, he was very fast and it was a quick $40 cash flat rate. I mean how great is that? I would recommend this place especially if you're in a rush although I really was not in a rush at all lol. After the smog check was done, Tim was very informative on what to expect from the dmv, which is good! Normally people would just hand you your keys and say bye. 5 stars for great service! read more

Quick, $40 cash smog check. Great place. Just difficult to drive in and out since it's in such a tight space but manageable.

Came here for a smog check and was in and out in about 10 minutes! It was $40 even with the certificate for my 09 BMW. They said they do take credit cards, but their machine wasn't working on the day that I went. I highly recommend this place. read more

Always a quick in and out. Tim is legit and knows what he's doing. Super friendly service always. And yes CASH only.

Tim is a great and honest guy. I went around searching to where to get my smog check and it seemed like everyone was trying to rip me off. Tim was on point and honest about his pricing. Will definitely come back again for my smog check. read more

Referred to this place by Danny and Express Smog for a STAR Smog. Both places are great! It was fast and super easy at SMOG DOC, however it wasn't busy at all when I was there...which has ALOT to do with it. The tech was friendly and the price was fair. I am a happy customer and will go back in 2 years! read more

Last minute registration smog check, searched on yelp real quick for a place near my pad and found this place. Lots good reviews but main things for me is quickness which looks like it does possess. Dropped by, pulled up, fill out a quick form and left this review while Tim's working, and bam all done! Will drop by again next time I need smog again. read more
