Incredible service. Upfront. Timeline. Kind. Professional. Will be back. Great price.

Best experience for a SMOG Check I have ever had. The Technician was very friendly and provided an accurate estimated time that your car will start and end the Smog Check. Also the Full Up Front Final Cost was very greatly appreciated. The final explanation of what was completed for the Smog test was thorough and with integrity. I know where to take my car for my next Smog Check. read more

Super easy process. The tech explains everything in advance so it was a quick and simple process. He explains all the paperwork and DMV submitting process. Recommend to call in advance to get an estimated wait time. SUV smog comes out to about $70. They offer 1 time retest if it fails. This is our go to spot. read more

Been going to Smog Check Car for several years! Excellent service and very good price. I recommend to all my family and friends! Thank you read more

The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. I get off work at 4pm and with traffic I can make it here around 4:30. When I arrived he was finishing up with a customer and had his last one for the day already lined up to go in. Once I mentioned I had been here before and I can't arrive sooner due to work, he offered to stay late to help me get the smog done. This type of service is above and beyond. I really appreciate this spot. 10/10 customer service 10/10 cost 10/10 experience read more

Went to get my Nissan pathfinder smog tested. Place was clean. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Will be back for future service. The person(I forgot his name) who helped was very friendly and helpful. read more

Easy to find, is in one of the bays at a gas station there. Really polite, explained everything nicely, was able to tell me if my out-of-state imported car had any issues instead of just failing me. Found a few non-OEM parts but they were identical in shape and function so it was ok. Consulted his mechanic friend at a garage next door, so really I was getting two for the price of one. Happy customer! read more

Smog Check Car - Getting my new car smogged. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

Very nice, explains the pricing explicitly. Good price for the area. This will be my go-to spot for smog checks!

Beware, he charges different rates depending on what type of car you drive. I brought in my truck and he quoted me =$70 because it was a truck. He called it a "Trucl/SUV surcharge" I questioned what was different with smogging a truck vs. car and his answer was "This has always been our practice". No thanks, I'll be bringing my business elsewhere. read more

Eric helped me today when taking my car in for a SMOG test (STAR station btw). His rate was $60, which is pretty good. He's a genuine person, really informative and really cares for his customers. The whole appointment could've taken less than 20 minutes but we were talking. 5/5 recommend this place read more

After a stressful and long week I was not looking forward to dealing with a smog check. However, Eric is seriously awesome and made this a very smooth and easy process. Really nice guy, very upfront, patient and willing to explain everything. He clearly knows his business, values his customers, and takes pride in his work. Price wasn't bad at all either. I would definitely recommend over anywhere else I've been and I think the huge number of good ratings says a lot. read more

Eric helped me out with a smog check awhile back. Awesome experience and super friendly. I will only take cars here moving forward! 5-Stars!

I've smog checked here multiple times and it's always a great experience. The owner is friendly, direct, and upfront about his price and timing. He explains things clearly and happily answers all questions. He takes time to make customers comfortable, offering cold water and seating options, and also asks how much info you want to receive (full explanation or just the results). $60 for a smog test with free retest if needed. Both this year and last year I visited at an off-peak time (mid afternoon) and it was a super quick 15 minute process. Exactly what I'm looking for! read more

Perfect service. Fast, courteous. All information provided clearly and upfront. Very easy access just off 101 on Fair Oaks. read more

Excellent customer service and really helpful explanations and transparency. I have a 1998 car and had been told by other places that my car was quite a bit harder because it was made before 2000 and would take on the order of hours to smog check, so I was pleasantly surprised when he said he could do it in 20 minutes. He was very professional and transparent about exactly what the check would include and was very prompt. Overall, probably the most pleasant smog check experience I've ever had and will definitely be coming back the next time I need a smog check. read more

Fast service, very helpful and friendly, He is now my go to guy for smog test,. he really wants you to be happy with his servic.

I got the smoke check for my truck, they are Fast and great customer services, the price is right!

Gave them a call to schedule a STAR smog. Eric politely answered the phone right away, asked some specific questions. Eric displayed great communication skills and I was confident in everything he said. No wait on a Friday around 10:15am. Eric broke the entire process down and explained exactly what to expect. Seamless and smooth transaction, I'll be back! read more

My car had been stored for 2 years during the pandemic and needed a smog test. I showed up here at 9.30am in the morning, I received super friendly and incredibly efficient service. I am super impressed with this business. Highly recommended and I will be returning when I need a smog test again. My car did pass with no issues, luckily we must have stored it correctly and it had enough data in the onboard systems to give a decent readout. The owner of the business was very thorough with the test and explained everything completely. Great smog test station. read more

Took my car in for a smog check (out of state Vic); my interaction with the gentleman working there was pleasant. He was very attentive, courteous, and quick, but what prompted me to write the review was his interaction with the customer ahead of me... The customer did not pass the smog (due to aftermarket parts); the gentleman working here took him on the computer and showed him the paperwork he needs for the smog in order to pass, and offered him a free retest for when he gets his paperwork in order. In my opinion he went a little extra in providing some guidance and customer service therefore i highly recommend this place. read more

He is very observant and asked me about the service light. Not only did he do a good job with smog check, he checked my tire pressure and filled up to proper valve. This is a great service. I will come back for future smog check/service. Highly recommend. read more

Excellent service. Reasonable pricing. I am happy to recommend this business, which took over the Fair Oaks Smog Check location at Fair Oaks and Caliente. read more

He was nice enough and polite but keep in mind this guy charges top dollar for his tests and will NOT do a retest if your car fails
