I had an issue with the alternator on my honda odyssey. Since I was not driving my van often, he wanted to rule out moisture build up as a possibility for the batteries not charging. After an extended run, the battery checklight went away and so Anthony suggested that it may be fine to run with existing alternator. He did not charge me for the service, but I had to insist to accept some nominal amount for the effort. On the way home, the checklight came back on. Called Anthony and he requested me to bring the car in following day to replace the alternator. On the way in, the car stalled since modern cars need minimum charge in the batteries to function even if the engine is running. AAA would take 1+ hours, so Anthony suggested that he will come by himself with a portable battery charger so that I can drive the van over to his shop, which he did since I was stalled within couple of miles. What service! The alternator was changed in due time and his charge was reasonable and below the going rate for such wonderful service. Would recommend him without a doubt. read more

I called up Anthony and asked if it was okay to head down right away to get my tire patched up and he said yes. I don't normally review places, but this was a great experience. Went in for a smog check and was out in 15 minutes. The guy didn't say much, but took great care in his work. I don't know the best way to phrase it, but in those 15 minutes here's a list of things I found praise worthy: 1. Quick and efficient 2. Noticed my tires were slightly flat and inflated them for me without a second thought. 3. Reversed my car for me to make it easy to exit their small parking lot. 4. Anthony is wonderful, he is officially our go to family mechanic from my mom, grandpa, uncles and aunts! He gets things done very quickly, usually when I come in, I am either the only one there or I just have to wait for 1-2 people. I never have to wait more than 20 minutes. Usually if theres someone else before me, I only wait 5-15 minutes tops. He is incredibly quick and efficient, doesn't rip you off like other places. Quality work here! Also, he has the cheapest prices for smog checks as well! My car has had several window problems and ac problems, he has done them all and for reasonable prices! He never complains when he has to replace something, hes seen me so much for my old car as well as my mom that he just laughs and proceeds to listen to whats broken yet again! (x Also, he is not much of a talker. He gets the job done and is very sweet in his gestures even though he is a man of little words. For example, I had my car at his shop for a few days and he had reversed parked my car, it was quite hot that day. Instead of burning myself from the leather from my steering wheel, he grabbed a cardboard that was in my car and blocked the suns rays with it! So thoughtful to even the littlest of details! The only bad side about this place is the location, theres only one way in and out.. His shop is the last shop that is all the way at the end! He also repositions his customers cars so that it is easier for them to drive out instead of having to u-turn and do several turns to get out. I recommend Anthony in a heartbeat! read more

I've been here twice. I needed my smog checked and its close to work. I came here once when it opened, and I was the first one seen-that's always a quick way to get it done fast. The second time I came at 1130, there was one person before me. The owner told me it'd take 5-10 minutes and that's exactly how long it took. The owner is really quick and efficient, he takes the dmv papers, runs the check and then gives you a copy. The price isn't bad but what I'm most impressed with is the amount of mine that it takes. I was searching on Yelp to find a smog check station. I almost went somewhere because I saw a Yelp deal that offered it for 95 (which I thought was unfortunately expensive). Lucky enough, my mother tells me of EZ Smog. I call the place and ask how much, the man tells me $50! I immediately thought, "Wahoo! That's almost half the price of that Yelp deal!" He told me they closed at 5 and it was 4:48. He told me he would wait for me and I left right away and arrived at around 5:10. All together, I was there about 30 minutes but I got there while he was helping someone else. He was very courtious and so I even tipped him a few bucks because I felt bad that I had to use a card (card processing fees and such). Overall, great guy and a great service at an amazing price! I'm going to agree with everyone else about EZ Smog. I had to get my car smogged and called them up. They were open until 5 and I got there around 4:30. Anthony was really friendly, fast, and was able to get my car taken care of even though it was so close to quitting time. I asked how much it would be up front and he quoted me $50.00.
