It seemed high so I complained and they lowered it to $75. I got home and checked only to find the one on Middlefield charged $37 with their coupon. Buyer, do your research and beware!!! I got completely gypped. Seeing all the other Yelp reviews, and being so close to my home, I decided to come here. After my service, I was told the total is $90. WHAT!? I showed him Yelp and said everyone gets quoted $45. He instantly started yelling at me and rudely said look at the wall it's $90 (which there was nothing on the wall) and he was 'nice' enough to give me $20 off, but with taxes and fees came out to $75. He said he also "did me a favor" and filled up my tires, which I was going to do afterwards for free at Costco. Absolutely ridiculous. Everywhere else IS $40-45 bucks. With a crazy busy work and home schedule, Sunday was about the only time I had to get the smog check done for my 'sentimental value' 1995 Acura Integra Special Edition. Called them and they were open and they even had a $20 off coupon on their website. Steve, the technician, was super courteous friendly and chill. When I drove in there was just 1 car ahead of me and no one behind. By the time Steve was half way done with my car there were 4 cars in line. Steve was working as fast and as efficiently as he could as customers kept coming in. No lunch time for the poor guy. I left him a good tip so hopefully he can get a good dinner! Disappointed to write this review as this used to be our go-to place to have our oil changed. The guys have always been chill, personable, and efficient. We needed to get both cars smogged asap. My husband went in the morning and they charge him $84?! For a smog... Later in the day I call for a quote and to see if I need an appointment. They say no appointment necessary and that they can do it for $45... Why was there such a price discrepancy? And for frame of reference, both of our cars were manufactured the same year. I had tried another place down the road as they had advertised 29.99 but the guy flatly refused to honor their own ad and was demanded $10 for certificate (which does not make sense - to leave the placed without any document or certificate) This place was really professional and did exactly as they they had mentioned and got my DMV renewal as their system did update the DMV site and they gave certificate as standard offering for any test.
