Fast and easy smog check. Friendly staff. Will come back again next year! Highly recommend read more

Very rude customer service. I feel they are overcharging customers and not providing good service. I brought my car in, and even after fixing the issues, it still did not pass the smoke check. I was charged for each visit, and the charges kept adding up. I do not recommend this place. Very disappointing experience. There was no star I will give you the no star read more

Going back for the 8th time with 2008 honda civic and 2012 acura Rdx and have only have a professional and best of class experience!

Very fast efficient but expensive, $95 for smog check for vehicle newer than 2000. Couple chairs outside for waiting.

the guys there are super friendly and professional. it was the shortest wait i ever had getting smog check. the price was great too. i highly recommend them. read more

Very fast, courteous, accurate service, but expensive. I got sticker shock when I went to pay.

With a crazy busy work and home schedule, Sunday was about the only time I had to get the smog check done for my 'sentimental value' 1995 Acura Integra Special Edition. Called them and they were open and they even had a $20 off coupon on their website. Steve, the technician, was super courteous friendly and chill. When I drove in there was just 1 car ahead of me and no one behind. By the time Steve was half way done with my car there were 4 cars in line. Steve was working as fast and as efficiently as he could as customers kept coming in. No lunch time for the poor guy. I left him a good tip so hopefully he can get a good dinner! Highly recommend this place. It's a STAR certified Test Only SMOG station. read more

This place is cheap, fast, and high quality!! I highly recommend making a phone call before hand asking for price for the best and accurate pricing. When I got there without an appointment, I signed a form and gave my car keys then waited about 10-15mins in one of the chairs outside. Then Anselmo greeted me saying the work was done. What a quick and easy way to resolve a chore. Would come here again! read more

I went to Quiksmog at 1240 W. El Camimo Real, Sunnyvale. I am a frail, 80 year old woman. They first wanted to charge me $86.75 for the Smog test. It seemed high so I complained and they lowered it to $75. I got home and checked only to find the one on Middlefield charged $37 with their coupon. Buyer, do your research and beware!!!

True to its name, we were able to get a quick smog check on a Sunday morning. The yelp coupon was a nice bonus.

===== Anselmo still here, still an awesome experience for $45 (read on for pricing tip) ===== Anselmo still here at QuikSmog, probably much to the delight of customers everywhere. +++ FAST. Got there between 12 and 1 pm when I feared the lunch-time crowd would be there. But no line. And I timed it -- from the time I handed over my keys until it was ready? 12 minutes! ++ Friendly. Anselmo's super friendly but also professional. Not smarmy -- just fast, efficient service with a smile. + Competitively priced. When you call, he may start with a price like $80. But when I talked to him on the phone, he said he could do it for $45. And true to his word, it was $45 out of pocket -- no weird fee for transmitting the smog cert to the DMV, for transaction fees, for garage fees, etc. * No wifi. Hotspot it! Or if there are people ahead of you in line, Ike's and lots of other options are across the street! Again, you might be able to find a place for $5-10 less if you really looked but there's zero hassle at this place. Been here three times over the last 5 years and it's always been a smooth and positive experience. read more

The grift continues...No way should a smog test cost more than $40 these days. Their upfront charge is $85, then apply a coupon if you remember to, and then it's only $65 plus the DMV $8. Total scam, would give them 0 stars if possible. read more

I got completely gypped. Seeing all the other Yelp reviews, and being so close to my home, I decided to come here. After my service, I was told the total is $90. WHAT!? I showed him Yelp and said everyone gets quoted $45. He instantly started yelling at me and rudely said look at the wall it's $90 (which there was nothing on the wall) and he was 'nice' enough to give me $20 off, but with taxes and fees came out to $75. He said he also "did me a favor" and filled up my tires, which I was going to do afterwards for free at Costco. Absolutely ridiculous. Everywhere else IS $40-45 bucks. I got taken advantage because I am a young woman and I felt completely disrespected and honestly scared for my safety. Will never be coming back here. read more

No appointments needed, minima amount of paperwork, 5mins in and out! Heat Tech to deal with. They do need to upgrade WiFi so ccard machine can process faster. Had to reboot terminal for transaction to process. But 99.99% A++ read more

Went there for smog check, lady said $90, I was looking the website and found a coupon for $28, I told her about it. She said best she can do is $50. How that she can change the price like that? Trying to rip customer off. Stay away from this business read more

Fair pricing (with coupon). Steve and Anselmo had both of our cars checked out and back on the road in record time. The price was quoted before I signed the consent. Yes, prices may vary from shop to shop, but there's a lot to be said for convenience and dealing with friendly, professional staff. read more

Needed my Veh and my lady's Veh smogged by the end of the week. I took my Veh in first and Nathan was super helpful. He told me the price before hand so I knew what to expect on the way out. He was quick and courteous. Came back again later that week and again was quick with smogging. He explained to me that it's all electronic all I have to do is just to pay for my DMV fees, and all great. Would come back again when I need another smog check read more

Extremely unprofessional employee! My fiancée just came in for a service on her own, but had to leave due to an emergency. One older gentleman made an inappropriate comment and made her feel extremely uncomfortable and she felt harassed in some way. Read through the reviews to see if there's any other unpleasant/unprofessional experience. read more

Calling ahead is the move to bring the cost down! $50 smog and less than 10 mins wait. Kind service, and close to everything else.

So friendly & fast! Called ahead and received friendly service on the phone and in person! Made it as seamless and painless as possible. Shout out to the employees working today! Only took about 10 minutes. read more

Quick and competitive pricing. Called and got quote. Was told no lines. Got there with one car being worked on and another just finished. Made sure I got the quoted price. Literally no wait. Didn't sit long enough to answer email before car was done. Of course it was a hybrid 2016 model and didn't expect any issues. read more

Fast, friendly, helpful, good value! Thanks for the great service on two vehicles recently, and for $20 off with coupon from the website.

Fast and efficient service. Nathan was totally helpful. Will come back here next time for sure.

Wow. Talk about fast and easy. I literally pulled up, got out of the car and got back into the car with my paperwork in 11 minutes. I've waited longer for lattes. Owner is fast and informative. Very helpful. read more

One of the few smog test facilities open on a Sunday. How convenient can it get? Props to Steven for re-opening when I arrived at/a bit after 5pm. Their closing time of 6pm had not been updated for the shorter periods of daylight. Steven made quick work of the paperwork and actual inspection. I also appreciated the $20 discount found online. read more

Efficient, polite, friendly service. Best price we found in the area! I believe the gentleman who helped us was Anselmo. Also, as an added bonus, he checked our tire pressure. Great guy, great service, great price! read more

Great experience getting smog check done here. Had two different technicians and both were friendly. While my vehicle didn't pass the first time, they offered a free retest within 30days. Good value, speedy, friendly service. I would definitely recommend this business. read more

Disappointed to write this review as this used to be our go-to place to have our oil changed. The guys have always been chill, personable, and efficient. We needed to get both cars smogged asap. My husband went in the morning and they charge him $84?! For a smog... Later in the day I call for a quote and to see if I need an appointment. They say no appointment necessary and that they can do it for $45... Why was there such a price discrepancy? And for frame of reference, both of our cars were manufactured the same year. Their business ethics is trash. We'll take our business elsewhere in the future. read more

Quick and easy like the name. This place is a STAR certifiable smog station. I went in right when it opened and went about my day in less than 10 minutes. Price is pretty average, they have a website where you can use their "coupon," but I didn't mention it, which is fine to me. I'll come back here for smog next time I'm due. read more

Found this place via web search and downloaded the discount coupon for $20 which he agreed to honor. I had tried another place down the road as they had advertised 29.99 but the guy flatly refused to honor their own ad and was demanded $10 for certificate (which does not make sense - to leave the placed without any document or certificate) This place was really professional and did exactly as they they had mentioned and got my DMV renewal as their system did update the DMV site and they gave certificate as standard offering for any test. I will be going for car servicing too as the rates listed were very competitive read more

Called around to get an idea on how much star smog check costs these days. Got a very reasonable quote for $45 inspection with the certificate already included. Got there and Anselmo took care of me. In and out on less than 15 minutes. Anselmo is very pleasant and friendly also. Just talking to him on the phone, you know you can trust this person just from his voice.
