I read all the negative reviews but every time I've been there everyone working has been super nice and the pizza has been very good. I order my pizza with thin crust and they don't have a problem making that for me. If I'm eating it there I order it well done and if I'm taking it home I do not because I like to reheat it and I think it's actually the best reheated at home because it gets even crispier. This style of pizza dough has a very long fermentation period which gives it a particular flavor that I like, and it has much less water than normal pizza dough and is rolled through a sheeter which pushes the air out of the dough and makes it crispy cracker style. read more

Way over priced for the quality. I ordered two pizzas and they are both under done. Our pizza was delivered an hour earlier than scheduled delivery time. I don't know what's happened here but this place has tanked on quality of food, rude employees, never answer the phone, and a delivery driver showed up as I was approaching the truck only to catch a contact buzz from the pot she was smoking. I've stopped in and mentioned the phone being busy, only to be barked at that I can order online. I've picked up my order recently, waiting inside, only for the employee to answer the phone, lay the phone down and walk away so they hang up. There's the issue! Therefore, line busy so nobody can order. Tried ordering online, no delivery time for lunch and no answer at the supposed time to open. This place is one thing after another anymore. I and my fellow coworkers would order from here regularly only to recieve burnt, or under cooked inedible pizza. So now, we just don't. I live in WV across the bridge, but work in Belpre. Better watch the tax! Depends on where I'm at if I'm taxed or not. But they've taxed me in Ohio. Two thumbs down! Save yourselves the aggrivation, the unwanted buzz. We try to order local and avoid chains when we chose to eat or order out. However, Smitty's should be avoided at all costs. Admittedly, we rarely think about Smitty's so we didn't know how long to expect until after we ordered. The emailed receipt said it would be an hour and 10 minutes. It wasn't a huge order, but ok. One hour 47 minutes later (correct almost 2 hours for pizza and a couple pastas) our food arrived. I had already driven to the location to check on the food myself since their phone wasn't working or was off. The staffs lack of care was overwhelming obvious. The food is mediocre ( 3 stars) but we had half a soccer team wanting Mac and cheese pizza. Service is horrible. Do yourself a favor and if buying local, do it elsewhere. read more

What a shit show. I purchased a pork BBQ sub and after the 2nd bite I realized it was stone cold in the center. This is not new. The sub has always been prepared this way for as long as I've been going over 10 years now. To make up for this, I have always advised the person when ordering to PLEASE LEAVE LONGER IN OVER THAN USUAL. Again, let me iterate...I have gone here for years. So I call them and they agreed to make another one. I drive from Parkersburg over to Belpre again and they give me another sub. I bring it home and the entire thing is WET. SOGGY. GROSS DISGUSTING INEDIBLE CRAP. They must have put over a pound of meat on here and paid no mind to how that would affect the edibility of a toasted sub. What a joke. It's one thing if your food is mediocre but when you have decent food and it is made worse by laziness and lack of attention to detail, why be in business? read more

Just eww! When we went they did not have soap in the bath room. Which means they can't wash there hands to make your pizza. I will not want to eat poopy pizza thank you. And and I will not be returning read more

The pizza is amazing!! Jalapeño poppers are great. Their prices are pretty descent. BUT, you better watch your total. The girl on the phone didn't even know how to add it up on the computer, she gave me one price on the phone that was a couple dollars more than I had added(I do accounting, so I know math), which I figured was because of the delivery charge to drive across the bridge. When they get here, it was $3 more than what she had told me, and the delivery charge hadn't been added to that. My husband's sub was suppose to be ribeye. Ended up being steak-ums slices, and mostly green peppers and onions. So, the pizza is worth it for sure!!!! Just watch how much they try to charge, and the ribeye sub is obviously not what it says. read more
