The food was totally amazing especially the Bahn Mi! I loved the bubble tea and getting to choose my sweetness level. Kim Chi was awesome! We got to eat outside at the picnic table watching the whole sunset (across the parking lot but my Honey is from Queens and feels safe with the concrete.) The service was OUTSTANDING. Completely unpretentious, friendly, sweet, attentive. We ate outside and said we could knock on the window when we were ready. You just feel like family. I really can't recommend it enough. My wife and I recently stopped by Koba Cafe in Vienna, WV, and we're both still talking about it. We've been meaning to check it out for a while, and now that we have, we're definitely coming back. From the moment we walked in, we loved the vibe--clean, cozy, and just the right mix of modern and relaxed. It's the kind of place you could easily settle into with a good book, but it also made a great little date spot for us. Now for the food--wow. We both ordered the bulgogi, and it was incredible. The beef was tender and perfectly marinated, with that sweet-salty flavor that hits all the right notes. The portions were generous, and we loved the sides--especially the kimchi and dumplings. Everything tasted fresh and felt like a real treat. We also split a couple of appetizers--the pork belly bao buns were unreal, soft and flavorful with just the right bit of kick, and the summer rolls were light and refreshing. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the bubble tea. I had the Caramel Bubble Milk Black Tea--creamy, sweet, and seriously addictive. My wife picked a fruit tea that she said was bright and refreshing. We even kept the cups because they were so cool. Service was fast and super friendly--everyone we talked to was kind and welcoming, and it's clear they really care about what they're doing. It made the whole experience feel extra special. Honestly, Koba Cafe feels like one of those hidden gems you want to tell people about...but also secretly want to keep to yourself. I was born and raised in this area but when I got married, my husband and I moved to Florida, then Texas. We recently moved back to Marietta. One thing I knew wasn't the best in the area was the food scene. There are some very good places but when you've been to big cities like Miami and Dallas, your standards are a little high. (I know it makes us sound uppity, but we like good food!‍) But let me tell you this place does not get enough credit/recognition as it should! But this place was absolutely amazing. We ordered multiple things to try and every dish blew us away!!! I will tell everyone I know to go here! -The Pho was so flavorful! -The Gochujang chicken over rice was my favorite thing, it is spicy but not over the top. -Bao buns were the best we've ever had, soft pillowy buns and fall apart pork belly - I love that I could pick the sweetness level of my Bubble tea drink! I would put this restaurant up against any other Korean/Vietnamese location we've ever been to! AND they are not expensive and clean!!! Seriously if you get a chance to go....GO!! read more

But when you don't say anything to me about the broth just being cold and that I needed to heat it up, part of my bill went out the window. But I was still charged $50 plus tip for three people. The last time I went here, the tofu was sour. When I mentioned it, the manager said that soured tofu was edible. I've never had a restaurant say such a thing. They've always apologized or comped the meal. But instead they said it's edible. when I left, I told them that AI said that you can get sick from tofu. We walked out and we'll never go back. The music is always to relaxing and the lighting is always warm and cozy. We've made it our 'norm' to bring our fur babies here. We called ahead of time the first time to make sure if it was ok and they told us it was perfectly fine. The owner loved our Akita Pup. The food is always ONPOINT here. Firstly, I want you to know I've had authentic Korean during the two years I lived in Korea and I'm glad I discovered this place. The food is excellent and it tastes exactly like I remember. Secondly, the service is top-notch. The chef's are really good at what they do and the wait time for the food wasn't very long at all. The waitresses were exceptional and very positive. As an Atlanta native who grew up near Buford Highway (read: the highest concentration of immigrant-owned businesses in the South, east of the Mississippi River), I have been spoiled by a great selection of ethnic food growing up. One of the biggest disappointments in the MOV is the relative lack of good food around here. Vietnamese is hands down my favorite kind of food, and I never thought I'd see the day the MOV had a spot to grab Vietnamese (or Boba tea) around here! I became accustomed to the fact I'd have to drive 2+ hours to get a good bowl of pho, but boy, am I glad I was wrong! Although pho purists would say the broth is "too flavorful", they do a fantastic job of preserving the integrity and presentation of the dish, and it tastes lovely. Also, the Thai basil is a nice touch! So easy to grow but many places don't offer it. Novi and Mo are very welcoming, and they already know me on a first-name basis, but maybe that's because I stop by at least once a week! The Gỏi cuốn (summer rolls) were spot on, along with the peanut dipping sauce. The matcha tea boba, bulgogi, short ribs, and ramen are also incredibly yummy. Considerations for the menu: 1. Vietnamese drip coffee - coming soon! So I've been told. Hopefully, it is the drip coffee with the metal dishes served drip-style instead of pre-mixed, so customers can add as much condensed milk as they would like to be able to control the level of sweetness. Also, it's fun to watch the coffee filter through instead of being served a pre-mixed drink. 2. Bahn mi- I have been told they will add Bahn Mi as soon as they can find a bakery to make the baguettes up to their standard! 3. Bún bò Huế - spicy beef noodle soup 4. Avocado smoothie - commonly one of the best smoothie flavors at Vietnamese restaurants in big cities. Very excited about this new addition to the area, and by the looks of how busy it is, it looks like they will be here to stay! read more

This was a very unexpected find, but ended up being a gem! The interior is spacious with a modern style and very clean. There was one person waitressing all the tables there and she did great-- very attentive! It was an essentially open kitchen, and everyone was very efficient. The food was phenomenal. Absolutely was not expecting this quality of boba and everything at all. We got customized tea beverages (one with jasmine green tea and the other with white peach tea) and were surprised to see actual cut mango inside besides the lychee jelly. The summer rolls were nice and fresh, and the bulgogi was delicious! It was a bit funny that it came with just one dumpling, though that was indicated on the menu, and the onion with it was towards the raw side. The kimchi was a great addition. read more

Went into this place by the recommendation of a friend to grab a quick bite before getting on the road to travel, place itself is clean and well organized, looks like a nice place to sit down and eat if you have time. The food was scrumptious! I got a Bahn Mi with beef, and it was packed full of delicious pickled veggies, cucumber, Jalapeño and herbs. It also came with 2 sauces, which we tasty but not necessary for my enjoyment of the sandwhich. My travel buddy got the crunchy wings, which were tender and juicy, and the sauce was flavorful without being overpowering. Food was filling without being too oily, and very affordable given the high food quality. Service was lovely, the woman in the front of the store was helpful and wished us well upon our departure. Food is absolutely delicious. Egg rolls are a great size, not the small ones you typically see. Summer rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce was great. I tried the special - the Bahn mi. Server recommended to get it with beef instead of the pork so I followed his advice. It was SO good. Cilantro, cut fresh veggies and a light oil sauce type of thing on it on a great bread.
