At the time, Jason assured me this vehicle had a brand new engine, and that a considerable amount of other parts and components where recently replaced, as Jason had owned this vehicle prior. At the time, this truck had just over 240000 miles and Jason assured me that if I brought the truck to him he would honor a "warranty" that would cover parts... No labor. At the time, i was being pressured from my organization to purchase a vehicle, so I had little choice but to agree. Furthermore, I made the mistake of not paying attention to the quality of tire and what kind of rims/tires the truck needed... 22s as it were are difficult because no one has them on hand... The truck ran fine for a couple of months until those tires had to be replaced... Only 3000 miles after I bought the truck. Increasingly, more and more, issues began to arise with this vehicle... Coolant lines needing to be replaced, oil pressure senders and sensors going bad... My dashboard backlight going out (they are not individual lamps, but a whole piece that needs to be replaced) and to top it off- the knock sensor in the "brand new" engine Jason claimed all began showing signs of wear and needed changing... Fast forward to today- 255,000 miles on the frame - I've sunk close to $2500 already, owing $2800 still and still needing close to 1k work... Igo to ask Jason to to honor his promise for a warranty on the knock sensor and the dash light as I feel they pertain to the year warranty... What do I get as a response? Defensive rhetoric and accusations of not taking care of the vehicle... This guy will go back on his word and professional promises to his customers. I wish I could continue but at this point I will not be doing any further business with this establishment.

I took it back to them and they immediately took responsibility and said let's try to find that part but they couldn't find it until Monday and unfortunately on Monday it was gonna be 2 to 3 more days until they could get that part so the fine people at this establishment found someone who would repair that part to get me back on the road knowing that I needed to get out of town and go back home. They were extremely nice extremely helpful and I would recommend them to everyone. They are a great family business and I appreciated them going out of their way for Me so please go there. In each of those cases they seemed to never really fix the car totally. Within a few weeks of getting it back on the road, more problems would pop up. I felt like I was just a cash cow to these places, forking over money left and right. Westdyke's isolated the problem and charged me a fraction of what the other places would. Think it was around $150 for everything. It's been about a year and have had no more problems with it. Also took in a Ford F150 that needed some plugs and coils and they did great on that one too. The only drawback is they are kind of old school country folks and not as speedy getting you in and out as some of the big shops. I'm still giving them 5 stars for the quality work they do. If that takes a day or two longer, then in my book, so be it!
