We walked my property he spotted issues with trees I was not expecting to have work on. He finished all that had to be done under 2 hours. I thought it would take them longer. Lawn Solutions has been the most thorough lawn service I've hired since moving into my home in…read more2016, and I mean that in all senses. It starts with Alex's level of professionalism. He cares about making sure that his clients are happy and that the expectations are set properly from the start. He's an A+ communicator who makes sure that you are informed every step of the way, and when changes arise, he's right there to fill you in too. On top of that, he keeps his word. He shows up when he says he'll be there, he does the job he said he would and he has high standards for his work, and he genuinely shows care and regard for you as the client, your time and your property. Alex just completed a cleanup for me and I can truly say he covered every inch of the property with a fine-tooth comb and left it looking exceptional. Midway through, he transparently shared that he had underestimated the job, but remained committed to completing it and completing it to his exacting standard, which I sincerely appreciated. Beyond that, what I appreciated most was that he asked me to look over the work once he was done to be sure it was done as we'd agreed. That's how you earn business and referrals. I'm looking forward to having them back in the spring to get things going and help maintain the yard through the season. I have no doubt that will be an incredible service experience too.

Suddenly the job went to $2200, over $500 over our highest quote. We were told this was for "extra materials" for the mosaic tiles. We decided to go back to using just regular tile and somehow their price didn't change. Kelly said the $1200 price increase was due to they needed materials - Hardie Backer & Thin Set. Please see photos below. 15 square feet of Hardie Backer is $9.97 at Floor & Decor. Deluxe All-Set is $36.99 for a 50 lb bag. When we asked for a re-quote they "respectfully" bowed out of the job. 5 stars just isn't enough…read more I woke up one morning to a text from my mom with a picture of what looked liked a large branch which had broken from her tree. Her text said, "Tomorrow, on my day off, I'm going to saw it down to dump!" My mom is a bit older and very petite, so when I read this, I imagined mom with a hand saw in the middle of her driveway and I laughed and responded, "No, I'll take care of it for you." I live in Southern California and mom lives in Reno, so I couldn't just come over and clean it up for her, unfortunately. I first called waste management, they apparently don't do bulk pickups in Reno. I went onto Yelp and searched tree removal, stumbled across Greater America Tree Service and gave them a call. Mark, who answered the phone, was very professional and polite. I explained to him the situation, he asked me to text him the pictures mom had sent me. He responded with a fair estimate. Not even an hour later, I get a call and text back to let me know that they had finished. Talk about speedy service. What's even more awesome is they decided not to charge me. Apparently, the branch was a lot smaller than it appeared in the pictures. So they just went ahead and took care of it. Poor guys spent more on gas money to get out there! Bottom line, I would highly recommend Greater Nevada Tree Service and will be referring them to anyone in Reno that needs tree trimming or removal. Unexpected kind acts from strangers are so rare these days, my mom and I greatly appreciate what they did. Although it may not have been much work for them, it saved me a lot of worrying and saved my mom a lot of physical labor. Thank you again!!
