Nobody has to pay for it. I had the vaccine there in 2023 so they should have had my Medicare card on file. The cashier asked me for my red, white and blue card, and I said if she meant my Medicare card, I told her they already had it but she didn't see it. She looked at the computer monitor again, said something about 'fixing it', and when I asked 'fix what?' she got very irritated and wouldn't tell me, except that now the cost was $0. I got the vaccine and the Pharmacist printed who they billed the vaccine to in 2023 and it wasn't Medicare, it was something I never heard of but found out it's related to my Medigap insurance. They didn't pay for it. They filed with the wrong insurance in 2023, didn't get paid, didn't refile with Medicare and tried the same thing again but it was denied. The cashier didn't ask me about my insurance and she didn't know to file it with Medicare and she didn't ask anybody for help. it was very frustrating for me. The girl needed a lot more training.

First, they are closed more often than open. Closed at 7pm, closed on the weekend, plus randomly closed at any given time. Second, don't expect to try and call with any questions or concerns. They stopped answering the phone about a month ago, like ever. You'll wait on hold for 30 minutes before giving up. When I ask about the phone in person, I'm told they are too understaffed to answer the phone or there is some "mysterious issue" with the phone lines they are trying to figure out. Lastly, It's a huge hassle EVERY month to get my medication refilled. There is always some problem or another that takes me several trips to the location. To get ironed out. Usually taking a week or more to finally get them refilled I have been a Walgreens customer for a more than a decade, but that is now over. I have requested ALL my medications to be transferred to Walmart immediately! Walgreens has lost my business permanently.

And every time is a terrible experience where I have to clench my jaw because it's just so infuriating. It says they're understaffed now and I understand that, but I've had terrible experiences even when they weren't short staffed. They can have a line of 8 people with only one tech checking people out and they literally don't even care. And no matter what time you go there's a huge line. They'll slowly walk across the pharmacy, don't care at all about making you wait. One of my visits I saw a tech getting angry with an old man who didn't understand his prescriptions. I've Had to wait 30 minutes standing in line for my prescription here. It's ridiculous. Go literally anywhere else.
