We've been shopping at this location for the last 6 years. In the last year we've noticed a decline in the availability of produce of which used to be very plentiful and fresh. The last 2 weeks there has been a limited amount of basic vegetables, no fresh broccoli? Fresh carrots? Even the prepackaged veggies looked old, dry and discolored. If Smith's is trying to make me drive a bit further to Albertsons they're doing a pretty good job and wouldn't bother me one bit and I'll share my experience with everyone I know. Everytime I shop at the Smiths on Craig and Simmons. I experience excellent customer service from the employees. I want too recognize 2 employees in particular. Mariah at self checkout has a high level of professionalism and is very helpful. Also Lupe in the seafood department has amazing customer service and people skills. The app. for the store is very non user friendly. When it works! Trying to use digital coupons is a nightmare . Even the print ad does not let you touch a item and go to it. It makes you go through the whole ad. read more

Yesterday Zaira from deli helped us out. Upon arrival I noticed the hot food section looking amazing was going to cook something. But change our minds. She helped us out. Big fan of Smith's. This is my favorite of the two in my area. It is so clean, always stocked, and I have all my prescriptions being sent to this location now as well. They always have enough cashiers to accommodate the flow of customers daily. I also love that there's always someone in each department there willing to help or get you what you need if you can't find it. There deli department always is stocked with there fresh fried chicken and all there other delicious lunch goodies. This store is run very efficiently and it shows through there employees and how the store is being run. Mood- grocery shopping ( Covid19 edition) As we walked up to get a cart there was an attendant sanitizing all of the returned carts. This was very pleasing to me as we are in the COVID19 phase of life. Upon entering the store it was very evident that the guidelines for social distancing have been ensured, along with areas being continually cleaned. Employees adorned masks along with many patrons as well. I thoroughly appreciated this shopping experience as it is scary with all of the unknown that we are facing. The entire store was very clean, and stocked. We saw items that we have not seen in awhile which was very refreshing. Isles are laid out in an orderly fashion. Employees were friendly and courteous when we had questions regarding where to locate an item. Would def recommend - pricing is typical for a grocery. This smiths has been my store for over 10years, before it was a Smiths. They have done lots of renovations over the years and I have never had any complaints. Its super clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Literally have my favorite cashiers because they have been working here for years and they recognize me. I have always felt safe shopping here at night. I always see corporate doing tours here so it must be doing great and probably an exemplary store for the company which is no surprise. Sales are greats prices are too. This is the only smiths that I have gone to recently that says in front that the sanitize there carts but its really left out for the customers to do .I also noticed most of the cashiers are wearing their masks under their noses including security guard ..one time I went to pay for my groceries and the lady told me arent u gonna help me bag the groceries. I live up the street from this Smiths and it's my jam . The meat and seafood are always on point and don't be afraid to ask for special cuts or to check in back for other selections that you might not see.. Sucks you have buy your booze at the mini cashier posted up in the area but if you have a cart of food they'll let you checkout in the front. I went to fill a prescription at this store. It was a basic medication that all pharmacies carry. After waiting for about half hour, the pharmacist informed me that she did not have the amount prescribed. She told me "that she's never seen a doctor write a prescription for 60 pills" and "that she only has 30 available" and "she has another 30 but has promised them to a different customer". I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds like preferential treatment and discrimination of sorts. If you don't have the number of pills I need, just tell me that - do not tell me you have them but you're saving them for someone else. After much back and forth she told me she would order more pills and I could pick up the prescription the following Wednesday. I called on that Wednesday and was told the delivery would come later that day and that if the pills were not included in the delivery, they would call me. No one ever called me. At around 7pm Wednesday night I called and was told that the delivery came but the pills weren't included. What? Why not? Did the pharmacist even order them? She again told me you can have the 30 I have. It's almost as if she is refusing to fill my 60 pill prescription. I was furious. She told me I could come back to the store and get the paper prescription and get it filled elsewhere. I told her I really didn't want to do that and waste time driving around to different Smith's without knowing. Finally, after 20 minutes on the phone, she offered to call another Smith's and see if they had them. They did. She did arrange for the other store to fill my prescription and I eventually got my medication by 8pm. Needless to say, I will NEVER use this pharmacy, nor will I use this store. Their lack of service is shocking. A pharmacist is supposed to fill a prescription. Nothing else. It's not your job to comment on the # of pills a doctor prescribes, regardless of how rare it might be. You are just the pharmacist and have no right to question that. Secondly, discrimination is frowned upon and I definitely felt discriminated against. Being told that she did have the pills but "was saving them for someone else" is discrimination. Period. If this is an acceptable model for doing business, I guess I will take my business elsewhere. If you expect your prescription to be filled seamlessly, you should consider going anywhere except Smith's on Craig Road in North Las Vegas. read more

This is my preferred, go-to Smith's supermarket since it is conveniently located near where I live and the employees are extremely friendly and cheerful no matter when I stop by for a visit. I personally find that - of the large supermarket chains - Smith's (a Kroger company) generally and most consistently has the best prices on most of the items that I regularly purchase with a few exceptions. Produce, while more expensive, is usually of better quality at Albertsons which also has a larger and more attractively priced selection of meat and seafood. This particular Smith's used to be a Food4Less not too many years ago and it is quite a big store overall with an impressive deli and a bakery that can be counted on to have many delicious in-store baked goods always in stock. Be sure to download and consistently use the Smith's smartphone app and get a free customer courtesy card (request one online or in a store) to save even more. This Smith's location also has the additional convenience of making it possible to combine my food shopping needs with a haircut whenever needed since a Great Clips is right next door in this shopping plaza. read more

This one breaks my heart, I love smiths, most of there stores are wonderful. This one has very small walk ways. Causing the colorful ill mannered patrons from the neighborhood to clog walk ways. Making it a very uncomfortable shopping experience. On the plus side the staff seem okay. Not sure about the cashier telling me how alchole makes her life worth living. I get that she was making small talk because I purchased beer. But that wasn't the best item to use. The store is clean, and they do have that company sense of urgency at the front end. Soon as a line starts some directs you to a new register. I do feel bad because I really think the ghetto feel comes from the area more than Kroger as a company. I was told to go to "cash services", nobody there. I asked an employee for a manager. "Go to cash services." When I said there 's nobody there they said they'd call someone. Yesterday I went to purchase ox tails for our Sunday dinner. I purchased $70 worth and the guy in the meat department states," no offense to yall people but anything over $50 has to be walked up the the cashier." Wow! Really!? So he takes it to the cashier and she said," why did you bring this up here?" He said it's something new. If it's a new policy, why all the employees aren't aware? First bad experience in that store. I called the store and spoke to the covering manager and was told it is a new policy but she didn't know why her employee mad that statement. I told her I would have been fine if he just said it was a new policy but yall people?! Thank God I'm delivered for my old self. 2019 still no progress. read more

The staff here is so friendly from the produce to the meat/seafood counter to the cashiers. Everyone is so welcoming which makes it nice when you just left work and is rushing to grab groceries for dinner. The store is clean and organized, and quality items are put out. The configuration does make you go back and forth on either sides of the store quite a bit. Overall, I really enjoy shopping here. read more
