I love the convenience of grocery pickup. The staff that bring out the groceries are always so nice and helpful. I rarely have any issues and if I do the staff fixes everything immediately. Jorge is my absolute favorite. He is always so kind and always goes above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. read more

Actually, I'd rate this store on Sunset and Mtn. Vista about 2 1/2 stars, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt considering I shop there all the time. They generally have whatever I'm shopping for and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. My biggest gripe with this Smith's location is they almost force you to use the self-check out lanes. Usually only have two check stands open with lines 5 or more customers deep at any given time. Sometimes I go after I get off work at 11pm and they have NO check stands open; only the self-checks with lines of 10 or more customers waiting! I talked to a manager one time about it and he basically shrugged it off, saying this is how all Smith's operate now. Not enough cashiers; not enough baggers; and management that couldn't care less. But, I save on gas the more I shop there, so I guess there's that... read more

Decent enough store, but the manager Adriana has THE worst customer service skills I have seen in my 33 years in Vegas. She is so beyond rude you need another word for rude. And for some reason I always seem to have to deal with her when I go to this location. Not fun. The checkers however are friendly and my usual request for double bags doesn't get me a snotty look, so I appreciate that. Nice produce department. Love their Friday Freebies but they should stock up more on them. I've gone on Friday some weeks and they are already out, or very limited. Clean store, and nice sale ads. read more

This is actually a pretty nice Smith's. It's all clean and orderly and things are actually in stock and where they are supposed to be. The produce section is nice. The self-checkout scanners actually work. It's far better than really any other Smith's I've been in. They have a large selection of dessert and pastry items. So hooray for that! read more

If you are a tall big black guy, beware. I don't care what your profession is, service employee, business professional, educator or hard working member in the community, they will assume you are a thief, stare and watch you especially at self check out. I have been profiled several times and have explained to them they don't have to watch me and that I am a hard working citizen who teaches and would never steal. Management apologized and said they would talk to the staff about my experiences but nothing ever changes. The more I go there, the more they stare. They even asked me if I paid for my groceries before I left and I showed them the receipt. Big tall black guys be prepared to be mistreated. read more

Recently renovated, this place has a much cleaner look than before. The produce section is large and has a good selection. The Mountain Dairy milk here is the cheapest and is hormone-free. No third ovary for me! Smith's sends out amazing quarterly coupons based on your spending, and they take all my internet-printed coupons. I go here to save money for sure. read more

This is our go to Smith's! It's got everything! I've never had a negative experience while shopping there. The cashiers have excellent customer service. The prices are pretty average. I love how well organized their clearance rack is, although I don't ever really see anything that catches my fancy. read more

Never actually been in this Smiths because they are one of the lucky fews to have curbside pick up! Curbside pick up is where you could order your groceries through the Smiths app and then pick a pick up time! All you have to do when it is your pick up time is to park in the designated parking spot and call the number! The first 3 orders are free!! Definitely check this out! The workers are so nice and helpful! They do everything! read more

This store has recently been renovated and it has a much more open and welcoming feel than many other stores. The customer service in on par in each department we've encountered. The produce is hit or miss on Sunday's, not sure when their delivery days are, but there could be some improvement in maintaining their healthy produce. We just finished shopping there tonight and I was a little disappointed. There were very few cucumbers, no good strawberries (even though the smell of strawberries caught my attention), and just generally seemed to be on the "tail end" of their stock. When things are in stock, the store is pretty nice. It's laid out well, labels are understandable and the staff is willing to help and has always been very friendly. Off days for produce aside, we like this store and continue to shop here. read more

I live down the street from this Smith's, but will now start going to the one on green valley. Every time I have gone here over the last month their shelves are not stocked with the sale items. They stock the more expensive items so you are forced to buy them. I am constantly hounded by this girl walking around trying to push their credit card. I am here to shop if I want a credit card I'll apply for one. Also workers doing things in the isles won't move out of your way. The sweepers will run you over with their broom and not even care. Worst experience ever. read more

This is my go-to grocery store when I am too lazy to head to Winco. I have been here well over a hundred times, and the experience is pretty standard for Smith's stores in my experience. I have never had a problem with stocking here, which is good. Items are always stocked well, regardless of when in the week you come. I am not the biggest fan of their produce however. About 20% of the time, I bring how green beans or asparagus, and two days later they are covered in mold (and no, it is not my refrigerator). So I no longer purchase produce here except for when I am in a bind. Store is also always clean, I have never once seen a spill or poorly arranged merchandise, which is a testament to the hard working staff. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. They don't always have enough baggers, but last time I was there they had plenty, and wouldn't even let me unload my cart (they had a separate person in the aisle that unloaded people's carts for them). First time I've experienced that and it was pretty great. Prices are a bit on the high side overall, I would not shop here if you do not use your Smith's card. The prices are outrageous with out it. However, they end up being pretty reasonable when you remember to use the gas points (which is now made easier by the Smith's gas station located directly in front of this store). They DEFINITELY need way more cart corrals in the parking lot. Like at least double the amount they currently have. There are none closer to the gas station, and when the store is busy people are too lazy to walk their carts back to the corrals, and I've seen carts fly into parked cars on at least three separate occasions. I hope Smith's management reads this review and fixes this problem soon. read more

How ridiculous that I am writing another review over five years later. I never go to this location, but was in the parking lot and needed a handful of items for a dinner tomorrow. Well, I just walked out with no groceries and came home crying. This store I absolutely ridiculous. The cashier was a hateful woman. Only two lanes were open and people had full carts. One couple had two heaping carts. I only have less than a dozen items. The problem. This buy 6 stuff needs to stop. I have a cheese that was on the buy 6. It doesn't ring up. So it negates my whole order. So I tell her politely that it is indeed on the buy 6. I double and triple looked and read the sign. It was the only "cacique cheese". She says it's not. I say it is. My order cannot be processed because now all my items are overcharged because I don't have 6 items. So she says she has to call a manager. I say "do what you need to do". I need the cheese and the tiger items. A manager doesn't come. Holding the line. People are getting rude. She finally says she will go look herself. She comes back and says it isn't that one. It is. But whatever. So I say fine, I will have to go get another and fix my order. I go to get another cheese brand and grab a bag of frozen fries so my buy 6 will go through. I come back and she has cancelled my order and is ringing out another customer. She starts yelling at me. She won't wait on me. The customer lady starts yelling At me. I start shouting back and ask her why she is even speaking to me and in my business. The cashier still won't wait on me and starts ringing the next customer in line. I finally raise my voice and say I need a manager. The manager who has been listening to the entire exchange the entire time. Just tells me I can wait or leave. I finally just walk out with no groceries and a ridiculous evening and a dinner party tomorrow. Edited to add. The next day I go to my other Smith a mile away as I have a dinner party that night. . And I ask the cashier for an 800 number to call about the other store. She says I have to email. I said I have again and again. That manager comes out. Both of these employees were kind and helpful. I explained I have talked to the "big boss" when they were doing a remodel once. They say there is no 800 number. But they comp me $25 on my order. No kidding. A customer two registers over chimes in and says "she is completely telling the truth, that store is insane and the staff are rude and yelling all the time and that she also refuses to go into her store because it is so bad". read more

I just moved to the local area and this Smith's is closest to me, I have to say every time I visit this store it is a great experience. Easy to find items and always fast check out (usually self-check out) they had a great bar-b-q going on one wknd and were giving out ribs they were yum, brilliant most people were purchasing them as they were in a freezer right at entrance, including me :) Today my sister called she had the flu & needed items, so before work I whipped over to Smiths to get her OJ, soup & crackers, nothing better than being able to whip in and whip out, my sis lives around the corner from me, I was able to make sure she had what she needed and still get to work on time Whooot! Thumbs Up! read more

Everyone at this store is so friendly and polite and the store is neat and clean. Never was dissatisfied until this morning. Stood in front front of seafood counter for a few minutes .... a woman finally walked out and continued with whatever work she was doing at the table (fidgeting with signs) behind the counter without acknowledging me. I said hello to her and she rudely replied '"I'll be with you in a moment, when I can" and continued what she was doing. BAD customer service!!! I went out of my way to go to another grocery store to get the salmon and crab legs I wanted to buy here. read more

After getting over $105 worth of groceries at around 9:30pm for over 1 hour, I come to check out at the self check out. Towards the end of my check out process employee "Guillermo" let's me know that all card systems are down and only cash is accepted, But let's me know I can still try.... After several failed attempts I go out to my car to look unsuccessfully for cash. Upon return, Guillermo has already closed out my cart!! So everything has to be scanned again. Still the card system is down. I went, drove home, came back with cash and my entire cart was already put back up! I left... The right thing to do would be to offer an apology, free groceries, gift card, or let me come back to pay for my purchase once the system is back up. Instead Guillermo couldn't care less. Unless someone in management reaches out to make this right, I'll be sure to avoid Smiths at any cost and happily share this story within the community..... what a waste of time. read more

The layout and lighting of this store is more open and brighter than some of the other Smith's and grocery stores in general throughout Vegas. Their prices are better than the couple other grocers in our area, which offers a very limited selection for grocery purchases. This location's staff is pretty friendly and helpful when we have questions or can't find something. Their deli has a habit of advertising food specials, then never having the food available. The ads work so well I start craving the food pictured, run over to buy it only to be told, "we don't have that". read more

I generally stay away from Smith's but this is the worst case I've ever witnessed. This is years of neglect & 2 employees readily admitted that they use the bathroom at Barleys instead of this one. This is not an overnight misstep, this bathroom needs a deep steam cleaning. Disgusting, the manager should be fired. How can you expect the food to be clean when the bathrooms are this filthy? This is not an opinion, this is fact. Look at my videos. See the employee, she said it was disgusting? Gross, fire the management immediately & call the health department. Another reason to never step into another Smith's, as usual, they continue to let me down. read more

Dear Smith's associates Im a writing this to converse with all of you directly. I've worked with this company for many years as of recently I've noticed things are changing, unfortunately for the worse. Time and time again I've seen the current management speak to staff with disregard, hold double standards and clearly employ favouritism when making decisions on discipline. If you've been a victim of harassment by a member of the management team please report it to the union and corporate headquarters in Cincinnati. If you're being asked to more than others with your same title report it to the union this is often a violation of our collective bargaining agreement. If they fail to pay you on time, whether they failed to clock you in or file your pto whatever the reason they are required to pay you in full within 72 hours if they tell you to wait next payday contact the state labor board and labor commissioners office. We can make Smith's a great place to work again but only as united front. I've been bullied by a assistant director to the point I transferred, currently one of the csm's is trying to bully me. We have to stop giving them breaks when they refuse to give us the that same benefit. Even if you've only been witness to these actions please report it. United Smith's read more

Ok I know we are in a pandemic but come on. You have meat bread now but you can't get and keep pasta toilet paper cleaning items paper towels. I go after work on fridays and it is ridiculous. Families coming in the store kids running around. Jesus. Get a friggin grip already. I see people at the self checkout with multiple items when there's a limit. I am very disappointed with the way they are handling this pandemic. Just because you gave your employees a raise doesn't give you the right to pull back on service and raise prices. I think it's time to find a new cleaner store to shop in. He'll I've been to Albertsons a few times and although their prices are a bit higher at least they have product. Get it together smiths. read more

It's a grocery store. Nothing more, nothing less. I used to shop at the Albertsons on green valley but switched because the service is a little better and it's a little closer to where I live. The layout of the store is a little weird at first, but after you get used to it, it's not to bad. I liked Albertons layout better. The prices are pretty standard and the service is okay. One big thing that I love about the place is near the fruit section there is a little enclave of various things that are a "you get whatever quantity you like." I get my brown rice exclusively from there. They also have candy, fresh peanut butter, agave, granola, etc. and plenty of different containers to put them in. That is my favorite part. Their "fresh meat" section is less than desirable and I don't trust it in the least. A lot of the time, the meat looks like it has been sitting out for awhile. blech. read more

This is always my go to store. The store is well-kept and clean. Always plenty of employees working at once. employees are always happy to help me when I need to find something or simply have a question. Recently they did remodels and the place is very nice. The pharmacy truly has exceptional customer service. read more

I shop here about 4 times a week. It's super convenient for me because I live right around the corner. I enjoy the sales and the option of using digital coupons comes in handy as well. I love the fact that you earn gas points and I love in the summer time you get double fuel points when you shop on the weekends. But lately I've been debating making the commute down sunset to the god awful Wal-Mart just to avoid the rude employees. Step it up Smiths! I've encountered every single one of your cashiers,as I've been shopping there for a long time, and maybe only two are decent and don't give me an attitude. And just yesterday I simply thanked the young gentleman who bagged my groceries and he just stared at me with a blank face. I love this store, but not the customer service. read more

Unfortunately, this is the closest grocery store in my neighborhood. This location used to be great and had a friendly staff. Today, I recently was shopping grabbing a few things. Staff looked miserable to be at work, absolutely no greetings to customers. The worker who is stationed at self check out most of the time (female, always has a bun with a bandanna over her head. Her hands always in her pockets) is a SNOB chewing gum at random. Her SMUG ATTITUDE is an embarrassment to Smith's grocery. For a customer service position, learn your manners. When a customers says "Thank you" best to reply back "Have a nice day, you're welcome. " NOT "uh-huh". The good things about this grocery store are the Reps who bag groceries and Reps who push the cart loads. They deserve credit. read more

Come here about once every month for groceries. Sales are usually good but only with a smith's card, because without it prices are fariyl high. I made the mistake of not signing up for one the first few times I was there....Typically fully stocked, but doesn't have as much as some of the other smiths that I've been to. This location has been going down hill but today was the icing on the cake for me. I am only giving 2 stars for the prices, because the service and cleanliness were not there for me. I have been shopping at this store for 10 years, but I am taking my business elsewhere. I was standing in line at the check out and had put some of my items on the line already. The cashier at the next land said she could take me over there so I put all of the items back in my cart and by the time I got there, someone else had already pulled up. So I went back to my original lane where unfortunately someone was now paying for gift cards individually as separate transactions. I went to the "Quick" check out and since I bring my own bags, constantly receive an error and has to be reset. Really! Can we get more human check outs? I have an injured hand and today was not the day to be running all around trying to check out. Did I mention that you also can't pay with Visa! It's ridiculous. I would have to see something on sale that I couldn't find anywhere else. Raise your standards Smith's, you used to be the best around. read more

After the 1000th time of dealing with stupid situations in this store, I have decided to NEVER visit this one again. Too bad because it's fairly close to me, but I just have gotten to the point that I dread coming in here. One the surface you would think it's a great store, but on closer inspection I don't need the hassle. So the final straw, I go in today to buy 4 things. One of which is peanut butter and I like to buy the fresh made stuff from the machine. I go over hit the button but nothing happens. I even sit there for a bit and mess with it trying to figure out what is wrong. Now since there are peanuts, I figure I just need to find someone to un-jam it. I go over to one guy who is in the Deli and tell him my problem. I even said that I knew it might not be his department but could he find someone. He says sure. 5 or 6 minutes later, I realize that NO ONE was coming. I walk over to two guys stocking fruits. I explain the problem when one guy goes, "Oh so-and-so isn't here today so we can't fix it." No even ATTEMPT at doing a damn thing or pretending to be concerned. I respond, "It's probably just jammed. You probably just need a spatula or something like that. " I get another excuse that they never go over there and know nothing about those machines. Then one of the guys pulls a knife out and is like, "OH I have this. Would this work." At this point the other guy is still just standing there staring at me like he could careless and the one guy with the knife sounds about as useful as my shoe. I had a few words about this not being brain surgery and stormed off. I go and checkout. I ask the girl if there is a manager around. She says yes but he's on a register checking people out and won't be getting off. I'm so irritated that the manager isn't available to MANAGE his store. I just shake my head and walk away. This is on top of me CONSTANTLY having to practically fight stupid every time I bother to use a check out person and not do it myself. I use reusable bags. I bring LOTS in with me but at some point they ALWAYS try to put something in a bag. When I ask them to take it out they act all insulted and give me some stupid excuse for why it NEEDS to be in a plastic bag. Yes because those f'n plastic bags are flippin made of chlorox and will really help stop any germs or they are made of 6000 lbs of cotton and will keep things from breaking. No, they are cheap , teeny tiny plastic bags and do nothing but cause more trash. And seriously, WTF does this happen EVERY SINGLE TIME. I even had one kid ask me if I wanted to bag my own groceries. I had a few words with him that he didn't like. On top of things being broken and the staff being about as useful and intelligent as a rock, they also tend to be out of stuff. I haven't seen proscuitto in forever and they only carry one kind of smoked salmon. I found my trip to the Smith's over by the District yesterday to be MUCH more enjoyable and will probably start going there from now on out. I have shopped almost exclusively at Kroger brand stores my entire life. I've never had the kind of frustrations and headaches that I have at this store. Besides, it isn't in a great part of town so I'll be happy to stay off that side from now on out. read more
