I dont use Smiths much and after my experience yesterday i never will again. My wife ordered our Thanksgiving mill from them and was only told to pick it up before noon on day before Thanksgiving. I had her call the store on my way to ensure all would go well. She said all ready to go with name on box. Of course when i got there the crew at the deli could not seem to find the order even though they seemed to know it was ordered. The finally grabbed a turkey and some stuff off the shelf and rang me up for the meal. The cashier told me they were out of containers. I asked about taking it out and he said it would be alright as i had the receipt. Against my better judgement i took the cart out as instructed and sure enough the wheels locked up at the door. The security guard came out and i gave her the receipt i had been given. She said it only had one item on it. Thanksgiving dinner for 80 but my cart had 5 or 6 seperate items. turkey and those side dish trays. It was more than obvious that 80 was more than any one item in that cart. I just stood there in the front door humulated as other people went around thinking i was a caught shop lifter. The guard unlocked the wheels and took me back inside the store to the manager. The manager did confirm that the items were the componets of the meal i had bought. The guard shoved the receipt back to me told me i was right and that i could go. No apologies or anything. They let me go rather quickly or i would be seeing a lawyer after the holiday. I was rather stunned by the whole thing but the more i think about it the more upset i become about how i was treated. read more

I've been shopping here for many years and can honestly say I have not had one bad experience. The store is always clean and well put together. I am a creature of habit and go to stores for literally 3 or 4 items and I'm out. Tea, fresh fruit, vegetables, and distilled water. I will agree with a previous reviewer and say that this is one of the only stores in this area not named Trader Joe's which I frequent a lot as well. I prefer this store over Walmart or Albertsons any day. They have 2 sections of self checkout which I love because I don't have to wait. You can pay utility bills or get money orders from the service area up front. As for the employees....they seem to love what they do because I've seen the same faces there for many years now. read more

Do not order delivery on smiths app where it's says partner with instacart delivery now because you will be over charged and even though the order is placed through the smiths app it won't show up in the Smiths app as far as your reciept. Smiths and instacart will waste your time transferring you back and forth blaming each other and so I will just eat this cost and spare your self don't use this service read more

This Smith's is usually fully stocked, clean, and their staff is always willing to help you find what you need. This location is also my favorite because it has their gas station on site, so if you have a Smith's card and regularly shop at Smith's you can get cheaper gas! The only bad thing about this location is that it is a little crowded and understocked on weekends, so I'd recommend sticking to coming to this location on weekdays only. If you've never shopped at Smith's before, I first recommend signing up for their shopper's card. It's a rewards program that's free to sign up for and comes with lots of perks, including coupons in the mail once a month catered to what you usually purchase, discounts on gas at their gas station, and a free item from their store every Friday (must download app to get). You can use the card with gas, groceries, or money order purchases, so you can maximize it and save so much money. read more

We have preexisting conditions that prevent us from shopping in person so Smith's pickup service has been our LIFE SUPPORT. We have been sooooooo happy with the level of service we have received at multiple locations. Recently we have switched to the Sunset store in Henderson from Nellis in East side because our home zip code 89110, has the highest % of COVID-19 in the Las Vegas. The service both places has been exceptional. Today Miranda and her male partner whose name I didn't catch exemplified Smith's excellent level of service. Juan REFUSED to give me the store advertised discount on a book that was soiled by coffee stains, going so far as to double and triple check the price, and tells me the price scanned is the price. Even if they do t have what I want I can call them and ask for something different then what they suggest and they do it without problems. I am a regular Smith's shopper and I like how stores like this and Costco are trying out online ordering. This location offers Click List so I stopped by to check it out. This is outside of my neighborhood, bit overall it saved me time. Online ordering was pretty easy and it comes free of charge for the first 3 uses. You call from the spot and wait for them to come to you. I waited about 10 minutes for them to come to my car. Check out was pretty easy, but they had to make some substitutes. I suggest using it for a larger order so that it is more worth your time and the $5 charge. I also got a gift bag for my first order. Pretty nice! She says no go ask them pointing at the cash register staff. She wears a pink vest with red shirt. When a higher lever staff asked her to assist me and my family, not knowingly she already declined her answer to him was a flat No! This employee is not happy where she is at working for Smith's. She needs to be let go. Management or Corporate if you're reading this review. Please let her go unless you want her to keep declining to assist customers and higher level staff. This review isn't about the store so much as an employee I had the pleasure of interacting with today. I RARELY write reviews, but he deserves this. I decided to make a bruschetta spread for dinner, and wanted some fancier deli meats. JR in the deli was super helpful, patient, and pleasant throughout my entire experience. I asked to sample a couple different meats and cheeses, because it's been quite some time since I tried anything from that area. He happily let me try whatever I wanted, and didn't get annoyed that I was purchasing small amounts of several different things. There was a woman who helped him a couple of times, and she was nice too, but I didn't catch her name. Anyway, he even made the experience fun, playing a guessing game as to how much my selection would weigh, and how to spell/ pronounce Italian meat names. I only shop at this Smith's because it's conveniently close but I have to say, I will not come to this location in the late afternoon or evenings. I have been approached by multiple panhandlers in the parking lot. Last night was the most recent. I detest people begging for monetary handouts when I am trying to go shopping. On more than one occasion I saw customers openly carrying a pistol on their waistband. If a customer needs to carry a gun while shopping in a grocery store, clearly this isn't the store for me. Also, if you need a shopping cart, you've better grab one before entering the store because the carts aren't brought inside the store regularly. This location seems like one of their older stores but they never disappoint. I work near this store so I run in at lunch or after work if I'm in desperate need of something. Even during busy times I always get in and out quickly. The sushi department is always fresh and have lots to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful. Well stocked store. Nice produce. This is the closest grocery store to my house. I like it. It's always very clean and everyone is very friendly to me. I even asked the produce guy to help me find a good watermelon and he gave me a full demonstration, it was quite funny and the melon was sweet! The only downfall is the parking lot is too small -- crowded and tight; clean though. There is a Starbucks inside and a bank, sorry I forgot what bank but it's not Wells or BoA. Again. My fave grocery store. Went in today and immediately saw a woman with a pet dog. I know it was a pet, no vest or markings of a true service animal. There were no signs of a "fake service" animal either. This was a large pit-mix on a very flimsy leash. This is disgusting. Absolutely vile. I am very aware about animals being in proximity to food prep (deli.) Unfortunately store employees cannot say anything due to the fact that the company being sued over the issue. Smiths remain my favorite of the big three as they have the best meat quality and selection and the deli counter cuts larger slices and has better tasting cold cuts. This Smiths is very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly, even when you have to send something back for a price correction, holding up the whole line. There is rarely a wait at the registers lasting longer than 5-10 minutes and you can self checkout. The store layout actually makes sense. They usually have product samplers out at night and on weekends and they have a wine guy sampling wine and even offering samples. I only wish the pricing was consistently better. Like all supermarket chains they have sales that change regularly and sometimes have great deals but when an item is not marked down, it tends to be more costly than the same item at other stores. read more

Be EXTREMELY cautious if you fill your prescriptions here at this smith and the pharmacist CLAUDIA. She feels she is above the your doctor and law, if she doesn't like the prescriptions you are given she will accuse you of being a drug addict and call your doctor WHO PRESCRIBED you the medication. She has shown mental instability, when questioned about why it mattered to her what was being prescribed by a doctor she threw her hands in the hand and started yelling, actual yelling and swinging her arms around as if she was going to jump over the counter and start swinging. I am genuinely scared she is going to switch someone's prescription or not fill life safe medication because she puts her personal feelings above the oath pharmacists take to provide patient care. She also felt it was appropriate to YELL the previous pharmacists business stating he allegedly got fired, she yelled this in front of numerous customers standing in line and was proud of the fact people heard, as she kept repeating it and getting louder when more people came over. When smiths was confronted with this issue of an EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE pharmacist, they excused her behavior and transferred my prescriptions to another smiths. This is not normal behavior and should not be ignored, she is being trusted to provide honest patient care and she has shown she can not do that. I will be contact the local news and the pharmacy board to find out how to report this behavior since smiths thinks this is someone who should interact and provide potentially life saving patient care. Since they swept it under the rug, and the pharmacist has since continued to call my doctors office every week with some kind of personal vendetta I will take every step I need to to protect people from this unstable aggressive women. read more

Absolutely the worst run grocery store I've ever seen. Prices are always wrong, constantly overcharged, the managers are incompetent. Even the head manager is a liar and totally unhelpful. Even after seeing their mistakes, they do nothing to fix it. The one time Angie (clicklist manager) called to fix a mistake, she promised a refund that NEVER came! Finally had to call Kroger on the phone before anything was accomplished. UNBELIEVABLE how careless and unhelpful the management team is at this place. This location has gone through a complete overhaul. It looks fantastic in here now! I feel so comfortable shopping here. So clean, neat, organized and high class. A far cry from what it used to look like. The produce section looks amazing now with the laminate flooring and reorganization. The new signs and fresh coat of paint throughout the store, inside and out, make it look like an entirely different store. It's absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to shop now. I will be back more often. Now for the bad news. I guess they had to pay for the upgrade somehow. Certain items here are WAY OVERPRICED now!! Wow!!! Vegetarian frozen food is jacked up way high, and so were other items. Ridiculous! But their sale items cannot be beat. Can't wait until enough suckers buy these newly overpriced items to offset the cost of the overhaul so that they can return to their normal, decent prices. read more

My wife purchased about $30 in ingredients to make a homemade meatball Italian spread by purchasing items yesterday (July 19, 2017) and again today. She spent a good 2-3 hours prepping and cooking everything up only to find out some very bad news: The meat was RANCID and beyond spoiled. I am hoping we are not ill tonight. Needless to say our dinner was completely ruined. This was at about 6 p.m. today when we found out there would be no dinner. So in an attempt to do the right thing I tried to call ahead and speak to a manager about the situation. I was given over to someone named Rebecca. And after trying to explain the situation nicely, and if they could refund my money tonight, she put me on hold a few times. We simply wanted to get a refund on the sauce, ground beef, and fresh ingredients that were used to make the meatballs. I was told by Rebecca to wait until tomorrow to speak to Adriana, the director of the store. When I asked her if I needed to keep the rancid meat and bring it with me tomorrow to show the director, she put me on hold again, and then came back with the same response. I need to speak to Adriana. So I suppose to them, it's normal that a customer after getting their entire meal and evening ruined by meat that had no business being sold to the public, should go ahead and store the rancid meat overnight. My family has been regularly shopping at this Smith's location for 10 years or so. Before that my wife would come to this location when she was a young girl with her family. We are natives to Las Vegas, and have never been treated so rudely by grocery store staff as we were today. This is almost too much idiocy to believe. This is not the first time we've bought food that has spoiled prematurely from Smith's, but that happens from time to time anywhere. Mistakes happen. It's understandable, and they've usually been pretty good about taking care of us as customers. Today was just a slap in the face. Since moving we've really come to miss this Smith's. We had been coming here for 2 years before moving. They just recently remodeled and it looks so amazing! They really did a great job. The new sushi section looks great. All the workers at this Smith's are so friendly and helpful. This is way different in comparison to any other Smith's I've been to. I love the sushi chef at this location too. He's so helpful when it comes to picking your sushi. We really wish we still lived on this side of town b/c you don't know how good you have it until it's gone. Now we have another Smith's near our new home downtown but it's just not the same and the Albertson's near us is the worst! We really like the organic meat section at Smith's which is non-existent in Albertson's. They also have a growing natural section that after the remodel has become an entire aisle. CLICKLIST! Love it, the Clicklist crew is always on time and ready to load my groceries. I have done this at least 10 times and cannot help but advertise for them because it is so convenient. You can use your coupons, you can pick up right after work on your way home or even have them deliver. It is reasonable at $4.95 considering you can use your coupons and digital downloads, there are even clicklist coupons for you to take advantage of. Try them out and they give you one pick up for free. read more

The pharmacy is straight up hot garbage, mother of my child needs insulin and Smith's pharmacy couldn't take the time out of their day to find another location that had insulin on hand, told her to call around and figure it out. At Walmart for the last hour and a half waiting for smiths to fax over the transfer and we call to find out that they haven't gotten off their ass to do their job. So I have gone back at around 5:30pm and they tell me come back in the morning, so I go back at 9:30am and still nothing on the 5 or 6 advertised sale items I'm looking for!!!!
