The next morning, Friday spoke to someone at 730 AM, told them again that we were needing the car repaired since we were traveling and staying in a hotel until the car was repaired. Told them what we thought the issue was. They said that they would pull it in right away. At 1030 received a phone call from Boyett's saying they were not going to get the car repaired and they were closing at 11. Told us we could have the vehicle towed to another repair shop, Smith's Garage. We contacted Smith's Garage and they went and got our car, no charge and repaired it that day. When finished they even delivered our car to the hotel we were staying at.

He saw that I had little or no transmission fluid so he…read moreadded fluid, put it on the rack and discovered that there was a major leak coming from inside the transmission. I told him I just had it replaced somewhere else 2 months ago so he told me I should have my car towed over there and they should pay for the majority of the repairs. All he charged me for his time was for the 3 bottles of transmission fluid that he had to put in there. Boyett's seems like a reputable company.

I explained what was going on and for a fee (about the cost of a tow truck ) the mechanic came to me and got the car into good enough shape to get to their shop. Once at the shop they worked on the truck quickly. I had the truck back that same day. The repairs were explained to me as well as the cost break-down. Repair costs are never inexpensive but I would say that the price I paid was fair. In my opinion, this is a shop with an extremely knowledgable mechanic, fair prices, and quick service. After bringing it to Raymond's attention, he invited us to cancel our towing request (approx. 2 hr. wait) and call Archie's Towing Company. Don from Archie's was there in approx. 45 min.
