They kept my car for about a week, and during that time I had to spend a significant amount of money on Ubers and Lyfts because I had no vehicle. I was repeatedly told they were waiting on a part that hadn't arrived. Eventually, they called to say my car was finished. I paid approximately $2,000 and was waiting for them to bring my car around. After about 20 minutes, they came back and told me they actually needed to order another part but I could drive my car for now. The check engine light was still on. It took about another week for that part to arrive. Then I was told it would cost around another $2,000. At that point, I tried to work out some kind of solution or discount with them because of everything that happened. As of the time I'm writing this review, I have not received a response despite attempts to follow up. What disappointed me most was the communication throughout the process. Being told my car was finished, paying for the repair, and then finding out more repair parts were needed. Combined with the delays, additional transportation costs, and the lack of follow-up afterward, this was not the level of service I expected. This review reflects my personal experience. I hope the shop is able to improve its communication and customer service going forward.

He had it towed to PK Smith and was told upon receiving it the transmission no longer worked. The recall was for computer/braking and suddenly the transmission is out! Then he and my daughter are told it will be a week or two before it can be looked at. So they have it picked up and taken to Alexandria hoping to get it back ASAP. The next day my daughter receives a call from the owner of the dealership Mike Smith, he is incredibly rude and even curses his own corporate headquarters. Very unprofessional, arrogant, no one deserves to be treated this way, especially my daughter who is seven months pregnant. Do yourself a favor and do business somewhere that's reputable.

The truck had been to three different GM dealerships (no local ones) and not one could find our problem. It only overheated when towing. He literally had it for one full day and was able to diagnose and repair our truck when no one els could. If you need repairs done right by a real mechanic go to him, he is no dealership technician. P.S. The price was better than I expected it to be. Take your vehicle to him, if he's busy and you can wait you won't be disappointed. He is worth it. I explained what was going on and for a fee (about the cost of a tow truck ) the mechanic came to me and got the car into good enough shape to get to their shop. Once at the shop they worked on the truck quickly. I had the truck back that same day. The repairs were explained to me as well as the cost break-down. Repair costs are never inexpensive but I would say that the price I paid was fair. In my opinion, this is a shop with an extremely knowledgable mechanic, fair prices, and quick service.
