Eventually my refills were gone and it was time to bite the bullet. A friend recommended Dr. Lipperd, so I called to make an initial appointment. First, I was really happy that this is basically a stand alone location with a private lot. No parking decks, elevators, or long hallways to deal with. The waiting room was pretty crowded, but everyone seemed to be called in a timely manner. I met with a nurse, a nurse practitioner, and then Dr. Lipperd. All three were friendly and seemed to actually care. After discussing my medical history and current and past medications, I felt VERY comfortable with the entire group. I think I've found my new general practitioner.

I have been in & out of Dr's offices most of my adult life. I had faith in Dr Smith first because he was able to improve my Mothers quality of life at age 83 concerning her blood pressure medication. I would say Dr Smith is genuinely concerned about the over all health & well being of his patients. He is kind, direct & seems to be through. He does not over medicate & takes into consideration side effects which I am very thankful for. His nurse is very thorough , kind, patient & caring & so are the ladies at the front desk . I am to follow up in 3 weeks most likely for another chest X-ray & blood work. I had basically given up on finding a good Dr. It can be a difficult process. I encourage anyone that is sick or in need of help to reach out to Dr Adam Smith.

Dr. Ricketts was my elderly parents primary care physician for years. And although my parents…read morereally liked him and he was always pleasant in his interactions with them, I've always thought something was not quite right. He would prescribe meds, yet it would take multiple follow up calls to his office over the course of a couple of days for them to submit it to the pharmacy. Rarely would anyone answer the office line, it was mostly an answering machine and calls were hardly ever returned. Definitely not a way to run a medical office! Thankfully my parents found an amazing primary care doctor who actually cares, after Dr. Ricketts seemingly dropped off the face of the Earth for the second time without any notice or follow up.
