They were very calming and reassuring on the phone. Realizing that I was about to lose my life's work, which was saved on my hard drive (don't ask me about backing up) they told me that they felt sure they could help me. Two technicians came out to my house, but to no avail. My computer was infected with a deadly virus. With a lump in my throat I watched my computer carried out the door on the shoulder of aforementioned technician. They promised to let me know something as soon as they had the problem pegged. Not two hours passes before they called me with a diagnosis. The good news is that these people know what they are doing. Not only did they make my computer well, for a reasonable fee they installed the latest software and an excellent firewall. No more viruses for me. If you do a lot of work on your computer, or just enjoy emailing and playing around on The Net, then you know the horrors that can come with computers. For those of us not so tech savvy, Computer Renaissance is a breath of fresh air. They reinstalled my computer, and I was up and running, all in two days.
