for Location/Ambiance . for Food/Drink…read more Love the rustic cabin vibes overlooking the Snake River. Great view and ambience overall. Wasn't as impressed with the food and drink - here's my take but I always say go taste for yourself as we all have different perspectives. Fried Calamari - soft and battery. I prefer it cooked to perfect crispiness. I also like an option of both marinara and garlic aioli sauce for contrast. Ahi Tacos - thick flavorful pieces of Ahi Tuna cooked perfectly with delicious crumbled cheese on top. By the time I got to the third one the tortilla just fell apart and had to eat with a fork. Super juicy. Bloody Mary - Took way to long to make and got it mid dinner when we ordered it first. Had to cook the bacon and shimp they said so just note that time delay when ordering. Presentation was stunning with the umbrella of peperoncino and three olives attached, two curled pieces of bacon and two shrimp prawns hanging on the rim of the glass. Spicy which I love and had good flavor. I could only drink half because of how salty it was - maybe due to the bacon in it. Apple Cobbler: Absolutely topped off the experience. Warm apples with a nice soft pastry crust and cold vanilla ice cream for the contrast. We got the caramel sauce on the side and just drizzled it on to our taste. Service: Server was very nice to us overall. Somewhat knowledgeable on the menu - sort of. Seemed like we were being rushed though even though there were still plenty of seats available. She was asking if I wanted a dessert when I literally had half a taco in my mouth lol. Would we go again...possibly just to give something else a try at some point.

Hard for me to believe so I ordered a steak sandwich to try it... ugh! Just NO. Tough meat, not foot flavors and overpriced. I don't know what makes these type of places think they can charge what they do and serve junk. Only plus side was the view, I guess.

The menu is wonderful, especially to early evening menu, the service is stuning and the atmosphere is relaxing and spectacular. When we plan a trip across Idaho, we make every effort to spend a night in Twin Falls just so that we can stop for dinner at Elevation 486. The menu has a range of selections and the prices have been very affordable. Try to get a table near the massive windows along the north side of the bar area, it has amazing views of the Snake River canyon that give the restaurant its name.

The location has plenty of parking, the restaurant entrance is through an arts center, but once inside we sat outside. It was incredible looking into the canyon. Now onto the food. We started with the smoked trout appetizer and it was incredible. I personally don't like fish- but this was so good. We then ordered a noodles and veg in broth and a mushroom beef pasta- sorry I don't remember the official names. They were both tasty. But the pasta was very salty. Our server was also a nice guy. He brought our food out, gave us good recommendations and was an all around nice person.
