A fast track to your degree? look no further! I've never had such a great experience with a college before. I'm so glad I found Arizona College of Nursing! I wouldn't drive an hour and twenty minutes away (one way) multiple times a week for some lousy college. so you better believe it when I say it's phenomenal!

If you fail a class (could be for any reason) & have to do an appeal don't bother. Dean McInerney will deny it & give you no explanation as to why. Which in the states they are to explain the denial. None of the chain of command cares. They may listen to you but ultimately they will side amongst themselves. The class credits are non transferable so you will have to start over at a different school. So, just imagine being so close to the finish line working so hard to accomplish a lifetime goal, to it being ripped from you forcing you to start over..if you have the mental capacity to do so. Nursing school is hard already, but these leaders in charge solely care about themselves and a paycheck. Couldn't care less about the emotional and mental trauma we endure in nursing school. Don't waste your money or time.

Look. This place has its flaws. But no one here is going to hold your hand. The medical field is a…read moreruthless, cut and dry field, that has high expectations, and the program condensed a two year program into 7 months. The work comes rapidly and the pace is brutal at first, but that is simply not their problem. It is a program the weeds out the weak and only the dedicated survive. It's up to YOU to find the answers. YOU make your own study guide. It is 10% instruction and 90% YOU. Show up every day. Ask questions. If you don't get an answer you want, ask someone else. Ask every single person in the whole school before you give up and believe that the school is the problem. Use every available resource. And if nothing else, use google. This is not like college even though it has it in the name. You get a syllabus, 1 hour of lecture per class, and then you are on your own. This program is for people that simply do NOT have time to go back to school. Do not have time to mess around. And are here to WORK THEIR ASS OFF! If you lack the self discipline, you will fail. If you lack the motivation, you will fail. Every teacher here has the knowledge but they are not educators. They are individuals who have worked in the medical field for 20+ years and believe that they can impart their knowledge on you. That's why I only give 4 stars. They are not the best teachers. But they have a ridiculous knowledge of their field and it shows. Many of them aren't used to computers. That's where you buckle down and do it yourself. It's an accelerated program. From Day 1 it is ALL located in the online program and it's not on them to give a "review" to study with. You read the chapters, do the homework, review the homework, write extensive notes and study your notes. Sounds like a lot? It is. But it is doable. The price seems steep, but medical school will set you back hundreds of thousands of dollars that you may never pay back. This is about 1/10 of the price. The students are all in it together and all help each other build a sense of comradery and look after each other. You might not apply everything you learn here in your career. You will learn even more from the externship. The teachers are strict, rigorous, and professional. It may or may not be that way in your career in the field, but right now you are here to learn and figure it out using critical thinking skills.

They answer questions seem super supportive than all of sudden you are thrown into classes ect, that is not the issue. the issue is certain instructors do not want to teach properly when asking for clarification on important topics we get told to refer to classmates when its our 1-2 track, look in the book, ect I do not believe learning should be that way. some instructors cant even pronounce things correctly and dont teach she just throws things on a board and has is copy it. The head of the department told me "i would never make it" during cpr and said that was constructive feedback. Highly do not recommend arizona college. I love gcu though.

The staff it's awesome they help you every step of the way, they would take time to help and answer questions or any problems you may be having. I am pleased and happy to have attended this school. The staff is helpful and pleasant, attending every class, and asking questions, and lots of practice, practice on skills will make you pass. It took me time to get in but it was worth the wait the help that I got every step of the way. They would even let u practice your skills so when you do state board so you feel great and confident. It's affordable and if you questions these comments about other people experience why don't you just go find out for your self. It's not a bad class to practice the major skills believe me you will be pleased. . Practice and repetition will not make you fail.

I recommend Spanish and black people who value themselves do not attend this school. They carry a very discriminatory demeanor. Which is surprising being that they do business around a bunch of black and Spanish people. Most of their employee's are white and very hickish, and carry the aura that they get to talk to anyone however they want. Most of the people that thrive and do well here happily without any issues seem to be white. Black and Spanish people in my opinion seem to express a general nuisance and annoyance while going through the program. Some resorting to complete silence and submittance just to make it through without dealing with disrespectful employee's. Some of their employee's stalk around the halls in a very lurking and predatory fashion. Bringing discomfort to some types of students. It is the general expectation that they get to raise their voice and scream and talk to students however they want. Making any sorts of complaints to staff appears to result in extreme backlash and violent outrage toward student. It is my opinion that if racist employees are not removed than the school will be shut down. I would also note that they are requiring students to sqan QR codes for "student satisfaction" and also to clock in and clock out, and QR codes are of course known for cyber security issues. may 14th* After filing a report with the correct authorities I received a phone call from the president whose name is "David" he appears to have been unaware until I made a complaint of the issue, and says specifically he is going to look into it, and I am standing by to wait and see what he does. I have decided to continue to attend the school based on Davids word. I will continue to provide update to review accordingly. may 17th ** It appears that David has kept to his word and has completely changed the situation during the week. It appears thus far that is the issue I had mentioned previously has been corrected, I have not heard yet from past two guys I initially had an issue with, but things have been going well during the week. The teaching is great and I am getting a lot of good welding time in, and I feel more comfortable and able to focus on learning.

One of the instructors acts very vulgar and treats students like complete crap, using profanity, and vulgar language. Some of the students are not even comfortable asking him questions to understand the material of what we learned without him getting mad. He gets angry if a student does not understand something, But it gets worse! To only think that this instructor is bad, the next one we had didn't give a crap about teaching the class, we went over the same refrigeration process for a whole month without going over brazing and soldering, I mean what HVAC school skips Brazing and soldering! He also was always gone and never at class. And when he was at class he decided to have us leave early for the day instead of going over the exact things we have on the curriculum for the phase. This institution is a complete joke, and completely pathetic. And I am reporting this school to the VA. My advice, if you want to learn a trade like HVAC or Electrical, go to a community college out here, yeah it may take a little longer to graduate but at least you are getting the education and resources you need to be successful and actually feel confident in your craft to score a job. Or join the union and get paid to learn the trade, because one thing I do know is this, they won't tolerate lazy instructors and they won't tolerate instructors that use profanity and scare students at the union or community college!
