I haven't had my teeth cleaned or worked on in over 10 years, before I arrived I was prepared for the typical dentist scolding for not flossing and for the long time of being at the dentist. Well I was pleasantly surprised, I was not scolded for either item! Rather, Saundra kindly explained the process of my teeth getting cleaned and even said it's better you come today than tomorrow! She really made me feel at ease and the overall experience was very pleasant. After she finishing my dental cleaning the dr. (I forget his name but I believe someone said he was Dr. Holmens son?) came into the room and politely explained things to me, checked my teeth one more time, and then simply asked me if I had any questions. I never felt pressured to pursue unnecessary dental work, or any other stereotypical dentist dr. pressure. All in all it was a very nice experience I am happy I went there and I will come back again in the future and would encourage others to go to Beard & Holmen Dentistry. Dr. Workman assumed the practice a couple of years ago, in what appeared to be a seamless transition. The staff had little-to-no turnover, which speaks volumes to their level of confidence in this newcomer. We haven't had a great deal of dental work done, save for a lone cavity and regular cleanings and check-ups. Every visit is a pleasure and we truly appreciate the care and consideration we receive.

Dr. Klohr is an excellent dentist. I have gone to him multiple times. I have a big fear of the dentist and I spent my first few consultations crying in his chair. The whole staff was so gracious and patient with me. My teeth were not nearly as bad as I thought but the scars from childhood scared me anyway from being able to just go to the dentist and not worry about it. Dr. Leppo made me feel as though I mattered and that he understood my fear. He made it possible for me to get my teeth back in order and I am so grateful. Now I look forward to going to the dentist even though there is still some fear there because I know I am in good hands and that he is going to take care of me! Initial staff on the phone and at check in were pleasant and friendly. I met with a hygienist who took the time to explain things to me, how the office ran, what the dentist would do, super helpful and nice. I met the dentist, Dr. Chet Welker. He was super friendly and used humor to put me at ease. I got some x-rays, and color image photos that showed things in a way I hadn't seen before. So cool! The dentist looked at my teeth and all that were of concern to me, explained all in a manner that was helpful. Both of the two I met with made my decision that I would like to continue as a patient. I have a cleaning appointment scheduled and need to call and schedule time for an old cavity repair as well as the difficult job of quitting my old dental office.
