However, I was disappointed to learn after the fact that the office only submitted my insurance as general coverage, rather than specifying the exact tooth that was treated. I didn't know that my insurance applied a 5-year waiting period on this tooth, and I ended up paying $860.00 out of pocket over the quote after the procedure that could have been avoided with proper pre-authorization. I wish the administrative team had been more thorough with the insurance process. A simple step -- verifying coverage for the specific tooth -- would have made a big financial difference. I hope they improve this part of their patient support, because the clinical care truly deserves high praise.

Since my first phone call with them they were so helpful and kind, I really felt welcomed and that they really wanted to help me. They worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover everything and even returned my calls and kept me up to date. They called to remind me to not eat or drink the day of my surgery and the day of they were so nice and informative, they made sure I was comfortable and wanted me to ask any questions I had. My wisdom teeth removal went great and although I don't remember leaving, my boyfriend was filled in on how to follow up and care for my mouth for the next week. I am so happy and please with my experience here, I will recommend them to anyone who asks and will return if I have to.

I had TWO failed temporary crowns, one crumbling in my mouth within 5 hours of "installation," the second within 2 days. When I came up there in distress and in significant pain, was reassured "this happens all the time, it's common." Oh? Two times? I requested possibly having a different tech, as I indicated in a voicemail that I had noticed he seemed unsure. Did not honor the request or even indicate that they had received my voicemail outside of rescheduling the temporary crown. Gave me the exact same tech who failed the temporary crown installation twice. Watched the tech fumble with attempting to create my temporary crown twice, the doctor giving him instructions on how to use dental tools while working on my mouth, twice. When the recommendation and then procedure for a permanent crown did not in fact lead to reduced pain, wouldntchaknowit- oh no we need a root canal, too! $$$$$ Two text messages, no phone call, two separate times, both informing me my pre-scheduled cleaning appointment was rescheduled. No offer to reschedule, no reason indicated for the need to reschedule. But in order to confirm an established appointment you have to call them? Like ?? It comes across as Aspen Chippewa banking on cancellations. The best recommendation this place provided me was to go somewhere else to get the root canal. It's like there is no integrity? He was the kindest and sweetest man and took great care of me. I was not sedated the first go around as my veins are hard to find and he didn't want to keep sticking me. So he numbed me up really good and gave me some laughing gas. The process of removing my lower wisdom teeth was fairly quick. I did get dry socket and had to come back for treatment. The staff were very friendly as well. A few years later I returned and had the same experience. Pleasant as always. This time it hurt a little more as my upper wisdom teeth were removed and they were impacted. The healing process took a little longer than the first time. I got to interact with Dr.Herbosa, as I had to go back due to some pain and discomfort. He was nice and pleasant to deal with as well.
