Third visit to Dr. Anisimova's office. Everyone is very friendly, and courteous. Dr. Anisimova will sit down with you to answer all your questions, or concerns. Very happy with her work and there is no pain when she's applying the local anesthesia injection. The whole procedure is pain free and she's determined for the patient not to be uncomfortable, or in pain. I was apprehensive seeing a dentist before but no more and am very confident and comfortable with her practice. read more

When I first went to this dentist, she informed me that I had 3 cavities. I was taken back by this because I had only 1 cavity in my entire life up until this point, but I believed her. On my 6 month check up, the dental hygienist said I was looking good! But, on my year check up, this dentist said I had 2 cavities again. Not believing this, I sought a second opinion at another dentist in the stl area, who informed me to my surprise that I have actually 0 cavities and the 3 cavities that she filled prior were so shallow on my tooth that they barely could even be cavities. The new dentist also remarked that their X-rays are so bad that they cause shadowing on the tooth, giving the appearance on the X-ray machine that you actually do have cavities. I do not think this dentist should be practicing anymore. I think she is scamming people. read more

I will keep going back because she is a very good dentist.I needed some major restoration work and she and her excellent staff gave me a smile to be proud of. Over the course of the past few years, she and her staff, especially Roxana, have continued to work with me on the best use of my dental benefits to achieve maximum results. I really appreciate the concern and care that the entire office has for my comfort and dental health. Some dental procedures are just not fun but they always do their best to keep me as comfortable as possible. Horrible experience here from quality of dental care to customer service to wildly racists comments from Dr A. She asked about the ethnicity of my last name. Upon learning its Armenian she stated that all Armenians are inbred. Further the crown she put on never fit right & finally cracked after only a few years. Horrible service! The receptionist Roxana was very pushy, rude and incompetent to handle cliente tel. She made numerous statements towards her patients that were very inappropriate for a public setting. As I was sitting waiting for an appointment, she made rude facial gestures towards a client, was yelling at her and told her not to come back because her insurance would not cover her visit. It don't give you the right to treat your patients in that manner, you need to learn to treat others the way you want to be treated. Gain some basic people skills Ms. Roxana. That is how you get your paycheck at the end of the day because of us!! read more

I do NOT recommend this doctor!!! To begin with the secretary Roxana is extremely rude. I had a crown done by Dr. Anisimova that now is dying and now I need a root canal or an implant. She also did a bridge with molars the size of a child's, and very white, nothing like my natural teeth. Believe me, do yourself a favor and find another dentist. I also have to mention that they did not adhere to the price the quoted me before the work was done. They claimed I owed them money. Beware! read more

I was a new patient here a few years ago. I went in for a clean and check. I was told I needed over $1,500 in cavity fillings. As a medical student, I couldn't afford that and sought another opinion. The second dentist told me I only had one cavity that I could wait on filling. I think this dentist should lose her license. Don't go here. read more

Dr. Anisimova is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. She doesn't allow you to feel any pain with a procedure and makes sure you are comfortably numb and in no discomfort before she performs and dental work. She helped me get my great smile back with her clinical expertise and encouragement. Her office staff and hygienists are polite and friendly. My teeth look and feel terrific after a cleaning. I can't believe so much went wrong with a simple appointment. I checked in and waited almost a half hour before Roxana, the office manager, took me in. She called me by the wrong name. I was informed that there was an emergency patient which is why it took so long. It really would have been better to have been informed of the wait when I checked in. I got angrier and angrier the more I waited. Had I been told there was an emergency, I would have been fine with waiting. It was my first visit and I was there for a complete exam, x rays, consultation, and cleaning. I was informed by the office manager that I would not get a cleaning that day and would have to come back for a second visit. She also informed me that a cleaning could take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Nowhere do they mention that in their paperwork. Did they ever hear of informed consent? Apparently not. After Roxana was done with me, I had to wait longer. The assistant, Lisa, was pretty nice but called me sweetie. How unprofessional and rude. Dr. Anisimova was really nice. It's too bad, her staff can't get people's names right. Their informed consent sucks. I will go back for my cleaning since I already paid for it. After that, I will never go back again. My suggestion is GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are plenty of other dentists close by. It's too bad that Dr. Anisimova has to suffer the ill effects of nonexistent informed consent and staff that can't remember people's names. read more

DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST Do not use this dentist. She is a joke of a dentist, and person. My family paid $2,000 plus for services that were not done correctly, and caused possible permanent damage in areas that never should have occurred. This office, including the Hispanic (I'm assuming/who knows) woman who handles the finances, will be nice to you until you pay. I had one scheduling conflict, and they couldn't reschedule me for 2 MONTHS after having taken payment. Why were they so able to fit me in at first? They just want the money. They do not care about the patient. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY STEER CLEAR OF THIS DENTIST. She is very heavy handed with the drill and numbing agents. She shot my lower left jaw with numbing agent and actually hit the nerve- the whole left side of my face was ridiculously numb ,including my eye. I couldn't close my left eye in sleep for months after this. It's finally now getting better. They told me I would be getting that side cleaned after she fixed the cavities, actually they meant to come in another day, which is why I don't understand why she used so much to get me numb considering I wasn't even having my cleaning that day like how they had said. Not to mention again, she is not aware of the sensitive nerves in the face to be avoided. I actually think she did it on purpose. no one will be ugly like her though!! Trust me when I say this. Also, after treatment, I noticed a perfect circle sized "fleck" (indentation) directly in the middle of my front right tooth. This was not there before, and it looks as if it was caused by some sort of drill or instrument. Was there a cavity there? No. She just wanted to try to make me ugly like her, again! I now have a little hole in my front right tooth, direct center, for no reason, only because she is a sloppy slob. I asked her to fix it, and she stuck a tool in the small perfect circled hole, dug around (probably caused it to be more indented) and said "it couldn't be fixed". Maybe she should avoid making mistakes that can't be fixed. Trust me when I say I will not walk about with a tiny bullet hole in the middle of my front right tooth the rest of my life! She barely speaks English, and did promise me a partial refund... She said, "sorry for hurting you". Turns out, this "refund" became a "one time free cleaning to be used in the next 30 days", although at the bottomof that letter, it also said to get my teeth cleaned within the next 4 months. Why would I need my teeth cleaned within the next 30 days, after just having them cleaned, when really,I needed (or would have appreciated) a partial refund to perhaps help pay for the eye doctor I needed to see BECAUSE OF HER as well as a new dentist to fix the fleck in my tooth, again, that was CAUSED BY HER. THESE PEOPLE ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She promised me a partial refund to my face, even questioning me "is this about the money?" In which is responded, "Of course not! I just have to see many other doctors because of the damages you caused! Also it would make me feel better as you would be accepting some sort of responsibility for your poor work!" All she had to do was follow through on her word of reimbursing us for her careless mistakes, but instead, I am told by this rude Hispanic on the phone that "Oh (my name), you know you're lying." She referred to how upset I was as a "treat". These people are sickening. IMMEDIATELY AFTER SHE SHOT MY JAW AND HIT THE NERVE I WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT MY EYE. THEY NEVER ONCE SAID TO LOOK OUT FOR LAGOPHTHALMOS OR TO GET IT CHECKED OUT. I HAD TO LEARN ON MY OWN, WITH MY EYE BEING SO DRY AND NOT CLOSING AT NIGHT. It is my recommendation that anyone perhaps seek out a Jewish Dentist, or anyone besides this joke Angelina Anisimova. She is a heavy handed cow. read more
