Update Jacqulyn, I have a right to express my feelings and share my personal experience as a patient. Kicking someone out of a dental clinic because of reviews they posted last year is absurd, unfair, and very unprofessional. My reviews were based on real concerns I had, especially with appointment dates being changed and poor communication from the office. I also saw other people complain about the same issue, so I know I was not the only one. If the office had problems with scheduling or staff, that should have been corrected without punishing patients for speaking up. I never said I disliked every dentist there. I actually had positive things to say about Dr. Carson and the other dentist I saw. My complaint was mainly about the office staff, communication, and the way I was treated. For you to act like I was unhappy with all the care just because I posted honest reviews is not right. Patients have a right to leave reviews, good or bad. That is what reviews are for. Retaliating against a patient by refusing further care because they spoke up looks very bad and makes the clinic seem like it only wants positive reviews. I feel the way I was treated was rude, discriminatory, and unprofessional. Like I said, good riddance. I will take my care somewhere else, but I will not be silenced or made to feel wrong for telling the truth about my experience. I want to warn people that if you have concerns or write a review about Smile Obsession, be careful, because they may remove you from the clinic instead of addressing the problem. I was told I could no longer come back because of reviews I posted about my appointments being given the wrong dates last year. I use medical transportation, so when appointments were changed or scheduled wrong, I lost about 6 rides. If you read through the reviews, you will see other people have complained about similar scheduling issues. It must have been a real problem because they eventually hired new staff, and since then, I have not had any more messed-up appointments. Recently, the only complaint I made was about a lady on the phone who screamed at me when I called to address a concern. That was very rude and unprofessional. I do not believe that is a reason to kick a patient out of a clinic. I never complained publicly about the bridge I received, even though it was made wrong at first and one side was bigger than the other. Once they fixed it, I was satisfied. My issue was not with the dentists. My issue was with the way the office handled scheduling, communication, and complaints. Jacqulyn was very mean, unprofessional, and I felt I was treated unfairly. My first experience here. When you come here they collect your personal information. Getting my driver license copy. Then They check your all teeth without your permission. All I need was correct xray but they did x ray from front. Which's can't see the right side of extraction. I have cracked bone there. So he refuses to take another xray. If you have same thing small thing like me They will remove you in that time. So be careful who do you trust. It's your smile. This place hungry for the money not for help !!!!!! I had a very positive experience this past week seeing Dr. Kyros at Smile Obsession Dental. If you need a dentist who takes pride in his work and has a great bedside manner, you should give them a try! I was a month overdue for a cleaning and scoured the internet to find a dental practice that looked promising and was conveniently located near the highway. [In general, I am a bit apprehensive about going to the dentist, as I had previously had a negative experience that led to a burn on my mouth.] Dental health is vitally important and I know that dental issues are expensive and painful, so I made an appointment via ZocDoc and headed to Smile Obsession Dental. I love ZocDoc, and highly recommend utilizing it for all bookings possible! [Google Maps did have a bit of trouble finding the office, so look for the location east of the large gym, and beside Simon Imaging and NafNaf.] My initial impression of the office was very positive. The office is nicely outfitted, freshly remodeled and very contemporary. It is evident that the design took care and function into account, and I found the office to be immaculate. I was greeted and sat down for less than 5 minutes, before a friendly dental assistant escorted me to the room. The dental assistant was very welcoming and kind, and certainly calmed my nerves! [I think his name was Sae Hoon.] Dr. Kyros has great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable. He addressed all my questions and I felt he did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth too. I was very impressed that he explain processes and procedures to me and didn't just try to up-sell. I also loved that they photographed my teeth before and after, so I could also see the quality of the cleaning. WOW WOW!!! Smile Obession is phenomenal! My husband has a severe phobia towards dentists and it took about seven years!! The whole team was very professional, supportive, and accommodating!!! They made sure both Keith and I were comfortable at all times! Before anything was inserted Saun would explain what the machine did and why he was going to use it. It's very clean! I needed a backup for my partial denture - this doctor originally said he can provide the service - then after I asked for more details he told me that he does not specialize in dentures - and refused to provide any help - I would have lost over a thousand dollars if I started the treatment plan with him - he is dishonest and money hungry - I would not recommend this doctor to anyone - I would give him zero stars if I could. His demeanor was very unprofessional - was always very stressed and extremely RUDE- very hard to deal with . not worth my time or money. This was my very first time visiting this practice. The dentist I saw for 20+ years had no time for me until March 2024. I wanted to get my teeth cleaned and have a check up since it had been quite a while since I had done so. Sunny Was my dental hygienist and she did a great job and it was such a pleasure chatting with her while she did her work. Dr. Razdolsky diagnosed my two dental issues were not grave. In June 2021, I saw Dr. Raz for my first visit / cleaning.  Everyone was very nice and the office is beautiful / very high tech.  Dr. Raz looked at my teeth and x-rays and told me I had a couple cavities.  One was a little cavity to be filled, another was a larger cavity within an existing filling which meant getting a crown.  This was going to cost me $516 after insurance.  He also recommended a 3D x-ray to check a tooth that I had surgery on last winter- he talked to me about likely having to extract the tooth and doing an implant or bridge as it appeared there was an issue with the root.  None of this would be covered my insurance.  I was a little skeptical since I go to the dentist every six months and last visit my teeth were in great shape, with the exception of the tooth that required surgery. I ended up contacting my previous dentist in Chicago as I had been going to him for over four years and only transferred to Dr. Raz as we moved to the suburbs and I didn't want to travel 45 minutes to go to the dentist.  My dentist in the city asked that I have my X-rays sent so he could look at them before my appt.  I emailed Dr. Raz's office requesting my x-rays be sent and someone responded within a few minutes saying that they were sent. Fast forward a few weeks.  I went to my dentist in the city and learned that my x-rays were never sent.  I had a new set of x-rays done and my dentist said my teeth looked great!  He did not see any cavities and said he was not comfortable doing any work on my teeth as it was not necessary and could actually be harmful to my teeth.  He explained how a little filling, overtime, could result in a larger filling, which could then lead to a crown, which, overtime could lead to the demise of the tooth.  As for the root issue- he said the tooth and the root also look fine.  He explained that even though he takes a conservative approach, he did not see any cavities / decay and told me to follow-up in six months for my regular cleaning.  I was shocked but also very thankful that I did not listen to Dr. Raz.  Dr. Raz would have taken my $516 and may have caused more damage than good. Sometimes doctors have different opinions about the way to treat, but the difference here was so striking that I felt I had to leave a review.  In fairness, my husband also went to Dr. Raz without any issues.I read more

Update on the previous review that I had posted earlier , smile obsession doesn't care about their patients, when I tried to get my money back for a service that wasn't suitable for me ( proved by other xrays from different dentists) and when I gave dr. Razdolsky or their manager "Vic" factual reasons why I need to get my money back, they stop replying to my emails and they never called me back after giving them several calls. Instead the manager called me a " slander" for trying to share my experience here !!!!BE AWARE people , they are doing a poor job , I was smart enough to realize something is wrong and got other specialists opinion that confirmed that dr.Razdolsky provided a wrong service for me. First visit. I was in the chair for maybe 10 minutes? Dr. Raz just seemed to want to sell me on Invisalign. The cleaning was done by him and was only about 5 minutes with him looking at the computer behind me for most of it. He was super rough and hit my gums multiple times and it hurt!. I've never had a cleaning that quick. Just seemed like he wanted to get out of there...I'll be finding a new office. Assistant was really nice though. So those stars are for her. read more

I had a cracked (10+ year old) veneer which I had gotten done at a different dentist, so I obviously needed to get it replaced. Luckily Dr. Razdolsky was able to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment. As soon as I stepped foot into the office I was blown away by the beautifully constructed and modern aesthetic of the whole facility. The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming as well. Dr. Razdolsky removed my cracked veneer and I had a temporary veneer placed while the final product was created in the lab. Less than two weeks later I was back in the office to get my new veneer done. He did a phenomenal job; the tooth is much nicer shaped than my previous one and the color matches my other teeth exactly. I also opted to do a teeth cleaning and xrays, with the cleaning being done by Dr. Raz himself. Another nice touch was the use of technology in the office. They have TVs on the ceilings allowing you to watch the Netflix show of your choice while waiting and getting your teeth worked on. They also have a TV on the wall where they display the pictures and xrays of your teeth to you. Patient info forms at check-in were also done on an iPad instead of paper which was convenient. I would give this review 0 stars if it was possible. This is actually my second review but it is VERY important to me that i consumers be ware !!!!! As I mentioned in my previous review I spent 10,000$ getting my top ten veneers replaced here w Dr Raz. In under 2 years I had a failed tooth out of the set of ten. Dr Raz said he garunteed his work for 5 years, but was unwilling to replace it. He actually offered me $1500 to replace it at a local dentist, which would have released him of the liability if it did not match, and matching is close to impossible. I passed on his offer. At my next 6 month check up I was informed that now 4 of the ten teeth were failing and leaking. Upon contacting Dr Raz and his team, I received absolutely NO response. After contacting the dental board and some attorneys, I then realized what was happening. That statute of limitations in Chicago is 2 years. That's exactly why he said, I would just keep an eye on the first tooth that failed. To buy himself time. These people are very very very unethical. They lack morals and integrity. No matter what they say, they do not garuntee their work. I am suing him in small claims court. I don't know if I'll win or not, but no way would I allow him to walk free and clear for 10,000$ that should last ten plus years and had 4 fail in under 2.5 years. I also had the work replaced somewhere else, and upon removal, Dr Raz had destroyed my natural teeth. Literally grinded them down to close to nothing, which was completely unnecessary and inappropriate and shows his lack of expertise is the cosmetic field. This damage to my teeth is for life. If you are interested in cosmetic dentistry or need ANY reconstructive work, I would highly suggest you RUN from this place. Yes it's fancy looking but everything that glitters is not gold. I am very happy with my first experience here. Sunny was so warm and friendly, and definitely put me at ease. I appreciated that Dr. Raz showed me my x-rays and the pictures of my teeth that he took while he was doing my exam. When he recommended that I get two cavities filled, I could see for myself that it was necessary. The best part thing was that he printed out an explanation of my benefits so I could see exactly how much insurance would pay for before I made my decision to have the procedure; I hate when the amount on a medical bill is a surprise, which happens far more often than it should. The tv screen on the ceiling is a nice touch and I did feel more relaxed watching it while my cavities were being filled.
