I want to note that I had called several times over the past few weeks to discuss this bill and left multiple messages, but no one ever returned my calls. At the office, I was told to speak with Erica about the bill. I have to say, I've never encountered anyone so rude in a professional setting. She asked if I had come to pay the bill. I explained that I was disputing the charge and began to share why. However, before I could finish, she interrupted me, said I had no right to dispute the bill, and gave a poor explanation of the charges. As the conversation continued, she told me I had no right to speak and then, while turning to someone else, referred to me by saying, "He is about to be dismissed." I'd like to remind Erica of a few important points: 1. Every patient has the right to dispute charges. 2. Every patient has the right to be heard -- this is America. 3. No patient or their concerns should be dismissed. 4. Every patient deserves to be treated with respect. My family and I are now considering switching to another dentist, and if we do, we will make sure to share this experience on social media and elsewhere.
