They told me what to do with my insurance and that was that, no surprise charges, friendly customer service, and the dentist is amazing. Today my mom and I had our first appointment with Dr. Dalco. It was one of the worst dental…read moreexperiences we've ever had. We booked after checking reviews and confirming our insurance was accepted. We arrived on time and started our paperwork when they took us in. The beginning was great the staff who took our X-rays was very nice, gentle, and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He was especially patient with my mom, whose first language is not English. The experience went downhill during the rest of the visit. While waiting for the dentist, we were put in separate consult rooms to finish consent forms. I was able to finish mine, but my mom needed more time. The dental hygienist, Effie, continually raised her voice at my mom as if she were a child, pressuring her to finish signing. I could hear all of this couple of rooms down. That attitude continued with both of us. My cleaning was the most painful I've ever had. My gums and teeth hurt severely from the sensitivity and aggressive scraping. I expected some discomfort, but not this much pain and bleeding. Throughout it, she was giving me instructions in a condescending tone, as if I were a child, while I was in obvious pain. During the cleaning, water and blood ran down my neck and splashed on my face and clothes. She would wipe it, but only after it had already reached my clothes. When she finished, she just handed me a cup of Listerine and walked out. She did not check-in, no aftercare instructions about when I could eat or what to avoid. She also told me to floss and then immediately asked if I even knew what flossing was. It was highly unprofessional and rude. Even if she was having a bad day, she should not be treating with patients like that. Neither my mom nor I were ever disrespectful to her. No one on staff intervened despite her raising her voice at my mom multiple times. Dr. Dalco herself only did a quick, couple-minute check-up, which was fine, and the X-ray staff was wonderful which is why this is not a one-star review. However, we will not be returning. No one deserves to be treated like that.

After an initial first cleaning with Dr. Hosseini, she seemed nice and her office staff friendly, but the hygienist was SO rough I had a headache all day after. 6 months later I went back for my regular cleaning, another very rough one, and was told I had two cavities that needed to be filled immediately. Interesting, since just 6 months ago I had a clean bill of tooth health and have only had 1 cavity in my entire life about 30 years ago. I chose to leave the practice and find another dentist, who I just saw for a cleaning and was impressed how healthy my teeth and mouth were, and confirmed I had NO CAVITIES. So beware, Dr Hosseini is scamming you to make a buck.

Given my past experiences with dentists, I developed what I like to call a "strong allergy" to them, yet somehow this place feels like the cure. Everything is comfortable, gentle, and unexpectedly relaxing, almost as if your molars are on vacation at a spa. Dr. Lee is truly exceptional. She explains every procedure with clarity and confidence, to the point where you may actually thank her for a root canal. She also discovered an issue that previous dentists completely overlooked. Dr. Lee's kindness and family-like care make you feel valued and never judged, even if you occasionally forget to floss. The staff deserves serious credit. They are friendly, respectful, and somehow manage to make scheduling and insurance feel easy, which should be impossible. The office itself is immaculate, modern, and equipped with the latest technology. Cleanings are painless, explanations are clear, and follow-up care is impeccable.
