I feel bad giving a low review since the staff were nice and they have a 20% local heroes discount. But! The burger was bad. Dry overcooked patty, no flavor, too oily as a whole. I got the Jalepeno smash. The lettuce on the burger was soaked in oil and limp. I also got the smash tots. They were nicely crispy but wasn't a fan of the seasoning, that's just my own personal taste though. Interior was very open and plenty of seating. Easy parking in the lot. First time trying Smashburger and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the double classic with all the fixings, rosemary fries and the Brussels. The burger was really good! The bread held up to all the toppings. The nice crunchy bits of the patties was yummy and the meat itself was well seasoned and tasted fresh not frozen. The rosemary fries were very rosemary forward and I loved the Brussels sprouts. Just wish maybe they used a different container because it look like a tiny portion for $5. Staff was friendly and they cooked to order so you will wait but it's worth it. I want to try the shakes next time and maybe the wings. They have a nice selection of different burgers including bean and turkey. This was a dinner win! read more

I was craving a burger so I came here - having been to a Smashburger years ago. I got a "Classic Single" over lettuce (no bun) and asked for no onion, no pickle. There were 6 employees and 7 customers (5 dining in and 2 take out people). It took a very long time to get the burger and when I did, there were onions and pickle on it so I mentioned this but just "picked them off". Also there were/are no printed or take out menus and I was finding it hard to read the menu. All things considered it was a decent, albeit very greasy burger. If I return - which won't be for a long while, I will get a turkey burger instead. Just OK. Not horrible and not amazing. About $1.50 more than Wendy's and about the same price than 5 guys. Wendy's burger is worse and 5 guys (in my opinion) is better. read more

The robot serves solid service, is a clean environment, and is active. The ambiance includes television and music but more, a very solid robotic server. Food is done well. The set up to order well the whole situation is very weird. When you walk in and view the menu we were asked 'how many entrées'? WHAT? Additionally the teenagers or young people they have at the counter did not ask questions at audible level. Maybe, if they focused on the task at hand of, assisting customers instead of playing tiddlywinks with one another the orders and their life at work will go a little bit easier. Off to get my drinks I wanted honest tea my first choice was unavailable. The second choice was extremely sweet, the third choice I wanted to mix with what was available so it could cut down the sugar that also was empty. The off duty manager said he would brew the tea. I hate to pile on but I need to try to save other people from the dreaded Smash. The other bad reviews of this location pretty much nailed it. You can expect the following from your visit to Smashburger: slow, indifferent service; a filthy dining area (that also smells bad); oversalted but otherwise bland food; and far too much grease. The oddest thing about how long the food took (20 minutes for my burger and tater tots) is that as others have said, it's a THIN burger patty. If this were some monstrous 12 oz beef patty, I could see it taking a long time. But the mushroom burger I got came out literally thinner than a McDonald's burger and shouldn't have taken more than a couple minutes on the grill to cook. I could accept all this if it tasted good after all that, but it was flavorless and greasy. And I paid $9 for that privilege. Definitely not coming back. Head to Grub in Glen Mills for a vastly better burger at pretty much the same price. read more

The reason this is a 3 out of 5 stars is because of price compared to the product(food). I spent $17 and some, on one single meal. I got a regular drink, a single smash burger, and some regular tots. I would understand, maybe, if the serving size was bigger for the tots. The drink was huge and the bigger was a double or triple burger. We arrived at 1:45, order placed at 1:47PM on a Saturday. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, I assumed, and the new cashier relied on the manager to help her. Then after placing order looked around and noticed about 7 people waiting in various parts of the restaurant for their food. Okay, busy time on Saturday, noted. 2:00 comes, 13 minutes for food seems excessive. I noticed many orders being sent back to the cooks for something missing or wrong in the order. And after receiving orders, I observed at least three people walk up with wrong or missing items on their order. 2:05PM now 18 minutes waiting, lines are building up at cash register. No one was angry or impatient. I can only assume this is the norm, product is good enough people are willing to wait 20-30 minutes for food. I observed one guy sleeping with a child on his chest waiting for his take out order. 2:13 order is delivered to us by a robot- this was the highlight of the visit. Food was slightly overcooked, tasty but mostly due to excessive sodium in the product. Won't be going back anytime in the near future. read more

Smashburger is a-okay. Great food for a quick (wel kinda quick) meal, some chitchat with friends and free drink refills. The burgers are okay, I think Five Guys is better. A smashburger comes with special smash sauce and overall pretty good. You must get the food when it's hot! I have it twice hot, once as an eat in and one as in eat in my car and it was good. Once I took it all the way home and wasn't as fresh and tasty for some reason. I absolutely love their fries! They are shoestring fries like McDonalds but 10x better and the Smash fries as to die for. Service is still a bit slow since they just opened recently but they are slowly improving and the employees are pretty nice. read more

They have good tasting food and milkshakes, but the burger size has decreased significantly since the last time I went. Also they denied me a milkshake on free milkshake day because apparently "were not serving ice cream today" which was pretty rude so I had to go to Rita's. Like come on don't put your location on the list of free milkshake places if you're not serving them . So the food was decent. Smash burger is not worth the price by any means just go to Five Guys. Now I would have given it a three overall but when I asked for a cup of the smash sauce to fast before I decided if I wanted it on my burger the Manager walking by says "just get it on the side" now it's hard to convey the attitude into text but essentially he was saying stop wasting time and order the sauce on the side. Now to Tom (the manager) I wanted to taste it cause if I didn't like it I would have gotten the mayo ketchup and mustard on the burger. I have to say, I typically would not feel inclined to go out of my way to write a review for a food spot but this time is different. Immediately upon walking in our orders were being taken incorrectly; a regular smashburger with American cheese with pickles originally said no pickles which was then fixed, which is what my girlfriend ordered. I then ordered the spicy jalapeño baja burger with no guac and add a fried egg. Also, fried pickles and fries. All was good until we waited around 20 minutes for our food. Which is totally fine, i had just assumed the place had a more restaurant situation with food runners and someone cleaning the tables. Heres where it gets... really funny. Our fried pickles and fries are really cold and damp, my pickles were literally floppy. My girlfriends burger has cheddar cheese and no pickles, which was kinda annoying. And then, my burger had no joke, no burger patty on it. No jalapeños. I took a bite and then realized i had no burger and took it to the food runner and informed her. She then brought my vegetables in a bun back with a burger patty in it, with my bite out of the buns burger holding it. No one even bothered to make a new burger, and just put the patty on an already bit burger. I cant even describe my confusion. I cant begin to understand how that happens. I hate to leave negative reviews and I like their burgers BUT I ordered a burger for my allergic son, telling them he was allergic to milk and they put cheese on the burger! I clearly said only the patty, bun and bacon. When I called them back the girl had the nerve to say to me "well you didn't say no cheese" and I also didn't ORDER cheese! I don't know how you can work in a restaurant and not know cheese contains milk. Okay,...my first time here. I ordered a double cheeseburger with lettuce tomatoes pickles with regular fries and drink. 10 or 15 minutes later... A server brought over exactly what I ordered to my table. Halfway through my meal a different server stopped by to ask if everything was okay and if I needed anything. My only slight issue was that my fries were not as hot as I would have liked them to be, however my burger was nice and hot. This location was clean with a very nice decor. All in all it was a nice Pit Stop to refuel between my shopping and movie. All the customer service I purposely encountered was both courteous and professional. Good job guys..... I've been here quite a few times even downloaded the app on my phone. Tip: if you eat here a lot this app might save you some cash. Just turn off the notifications. They send a different push or notification every other day. It gets kind of annoying. I have been eating less meat and so I decided to try the black bean burger here. I got it on two separate occasions. What I realize is that it is not a great burger. It looks like a black disc on a roll. It is mushy and has no flavor. The only thing that gives it flavors are the topping. Unfortunately I do not have time to figure out how to make someone's products taste better. I gave them 3 stars because I took my daughter who really loved the rosemary fries and here milk shake. I also sort of enjoyed the onion straws the second time I was there. read more
