Food was ok it's getting to pricey but what keep my attention was that they automatically add the gratuity into the bill. Here is the trick when they handle the bill to sign the printed bill to sign there is a place to add a gratuity again. So if you add a tip on that you ended up to double tip. I am not a cheap person because I did work on a place where they handle tips but I believe so the tips are going in accordance to the service the customer receives. Very disappointed after coming in with my family of 6 to eat. We started off with ordering a kids burger, when I asked if they could have lettuce and tomato on it, he quickly said no, and that they were no longer letting people add onto the kids burger. Family got hamburgers, I got a chicken burger. Never have I paid to be sick like this! About 10 minutes after eating less than half the burger, my stomach started hurting, gurgling, then cramping; about 45 minutes after eating I was in the restroom, spewing and hurting from both ends. I'm very old, and very afraid to pass gas today; it's a good thing I haven't tried, didn't trust it because there were no 'false alarms' yet!! My children and grandchildren who ate their hamburgers said they didn't feel bad at all, but that their food was less than disappointing; theirs were also both burnt & squishy, very bad texture and the flavor was not good in any way. They ALL also agree we won't be getting their food again; not only was it waaaay overpriced, but they said, "It was NASTY, Gramma!" To sum it up: SAVE YOUR MONEY! I got the Mushroom Truffle burger and Onion strings - both were really tasty - the mushroom burger was cheesy and had several types of mushrooms in it. Onion strings were great. Wife had the brisket burger, I had a bite and it was really tasty. The brisket tasted like actual BBQ brisket, and the Smash fries were delicious. They're seasoned with rosemary and garlic. They were a bit soggy, would be really good if they were crunchier, but they were flavored really nicely. Staff was doing a great job abiding by the COVID regulations. Went by Smashburger tonight for the first time and ordered myself a double bacon burger. When I get the burger, no bacon. Not a major tragedy -- I just mentioned it to the staff and asked for some bacon. The waitress had misunderstood my order -- not surprising since I kept asking about the other menu items -- and had not charged me for the bacon burger. They told me that they would grab me some bacon anyway, no charge. They didn't. They brought me an entire freshly made double burger with bacon -- and they really did up the bacon.
