SPICY JALAPEO SMASH
Karla M.

I came here on a Monday afternoon around 6. When we arrived it was dead but minutes later more and more parties came in. There were many burgers that caught my attention but ultimately I went with the spicy jalapeño smash since it's a favorite among customers. I forgot smash burger meat patties are meant to be thin so I regret not getting two patties. I ordered some sweet potato waffle fries on the side. Overall, I the burger had good flavor, but it was pretty thin. I didn't like the bread, it either was stale or reminded me too much of gluten free texture. They also didn't have tomatoes due to an issue with them, which might've impacted the moistness a little. It had a really good amount of jalapeños and the cheese was a bit crispy from the grill which I liked. The sweet potatoes fries were good and crispy. I found the food to be expensive so I'm not sure if I'll be back but I did like it. There's plenty of parking and the staff was really nice and attentive. They worked efficiently to take orders and make the food when it got really busy.

I stopped by because I was really craving a burger. The location is in Attleboro in this plaza where they have a Starbucks etc. when I walked in the ambiance was nice, it has low lights and a retro vibe. The menu board is big, which makes it easy to place your order. I made my order and then sat down and waited for the food to be brought out to me. They give you a ticket and you wait for your food. They brought out one thing at a time which was frustrating and then mixed the orders up. I tried the cheese burger it was good, just too salty for me. The onion rings were good but over cooked. Ok so this is the issue, there was this horrible smell that was lingering..... if you're hungry and want a burger but have no options, eat here.

Bugs

We stopped in to this Smashburger and the food was fine. The employee was very polite but there were bugs literally all over the wall of the restaurant. Not flies, but these little bugs that crawled on the walls by where we were eating. They were a lot heavier by the garbage. I have to admit it was pretty gross and that needs to be addressed and for that they get one star.

I popped in for lunch before heading to the movies. My food was delicious and the staff were very kind. I had the Single Colorado with regular fries and an Oreo milkshake. It was all delicious! I dined in before heading to the movies - note the parking can be limited and kinda tight!

Just went to Smashburger for the first time. I will say the burger & fries were good, but for a spot that is less than a mile away from Five Guys I wasn't overly impressed. It was a nice, clean and quiet place. You order & pay at the counter then your food is brought to your table based on a number assigned to your party. They have some bottled drinks, 2 Coca-cola freestyle machines (which were both very low on flavors or not functioning properly) and they have milk shakes made with Haagen Dazs ice cream. Even tho it's a quality ingredient $6 for a small shake is kind of pricey. I ordered the classic smash burger as is, another person ordered the same but with only ketchup and the third ordered a special burger advertised in the window. We also tired the smash fries (seasoned with olive oil and spices), the regular fries and the tater tots. The burger was a nice size and cooked and dressed well, but the fry portion was rather smaller compared to Five Guys and was similarly priced. To wrap it up, Smash Burger is another chain of fast food at non fast food prices. The food is tasty and good quality. They offer more choices than Five Guys by having, chicken, turkey, veggie burgers and a few salad options which is nice. They being said for a burger in this price range in a fast food atmosphere, I'll probably stick to Five Guys. Thanks for reading!!

Time stamps

When u order through the app and u get the message saying your meal is ready for pick up at the front desk. U go inside and still wait 15mins because it's actually not ready. This happens to me almost everytime, get ur system shit together

40 plus minute wait for 4 burgers is unacceptable for this type of restaurant. I will never be returning.

Twenty minute wait for a mediocre burger and shake...$13.57. You decide if it's worth it.

I am not sure if Shake Shack got bought out by private equity who started cutting corners ... or,…read moreif their rapid expansion didn't work and they are trying to save money at the expense of quality. Whatever is happening at Shake Shack, it's not good. 5 years ago, I would have done the unthinkable and ranked Shake Shack above my much loved In N Out Burger. Now, I honestly wouldn't rank it much higher than Wendy's. This location didn't prove me wrong. I got their new, limited black truffle burger, which has onion strings, truffle sauce on the standard Shack Burger. What's wrong with it: - The burger came too well-done. It was very thin (thinner than your average smash burger). It had none of that salty carmelization on the outside which makes a burger crispy on the outside. It had no moist, juicy center. It was just rubbery and kind of flavorless. - The quality of the meat seamed different than past burgers ... not as flavorful. The burger seems thinner. - The onion straws would have made a nice addition in the old days of quality Shake Shack. They were kind of dry and crunchy ... not fresh made. They were thrown to the edge of the bun, which forces the burger to be pushed out of the bun and all the onions were at the other end. - The truffle sauce wasn't remarkable. For an additional $3+ vs. their standard Shack Burger, it was your typical fake truffle oil mixed into standard Shack sauce. It tastes like kissing someone in the morning who spent the night after a long night of drinking. - The bun was a standard cheap grocery store bun, which almost looked as though it had deflated. I have noticed a huge drop in the quality of the buns, almond with the meat. - Just a point of personal taste but the crispy iceberg lettuce at In N Out is so much better than the frizzy, thin lettuce at Shake Shack. Also, the tomato didn't seem fresh. The cheese was the best part of the burger, melted well. Overall, it's a shame because Shake Shack used to stand for high quality ingredients and was executed with perfection. Now one out of every four trips yields a good experience ... and each time I go into a Shake Shack (the same store, or different) the burger is made/cooked completely different. I used to drive out of my way to go to a Shake Shack ... maybe once a week as a treat. Now, I will occasionally go to one at an outdoor mall if I am there, hoping it's the one of four times I get a good burger. Usually, I leave dissappointed and out of $8 - $10. The fact that a burger combo meal can be north of $20 is mind boggling. Shake Shack at this busy mall had 4 people in it at 7 p.m. on a Friday. That should tell you something. 5 years ago, the line would have been out the door. Shake Shack really needs to get back to who they used to be. If that means closing stores to focus on quality in the higher performing stores, empty Shake Shacks never used to be a thing. There's always an answer as to why.

Tried Shake Shack today and honestly it was pretty disappointing. Our order took over 30 minutes,…read morethe trash was overflowing in both the dining room and bathroom, the fries were still cold in the middle, and by the time I finally got my drink, all the ice had already melted. If we had noticed the overflowing trash before we ordered, we definitely would not have eaten there. Definitely not the experience we expected.

Wow ... it's a good thing I didn't check the other Yelp reviews before I ate at this McDonald's. I…read morestopped here for lunch Friday because it was the first place I saw that was close to the highway; the two-for-$5 special sealed the deal (I got a Filet-O-Fish and Quarter Pounder with cheese). Since I didn't want to tear down their drive-through sign with my work truck, I went inside to order. Okay, so every other reviewer prior to me trashed this McDonald's, giving it only 1 star, saying the place was dirty, the food was garbage, yada, yada, yada. Either they are talking about some other McDonald's, or I just happened to visit here when the planets were aligned or something. Whatever the case, I found the place to be clean; the service to be fast and polite; and the food to be better than average. It was actually one of the best Filet-O-Fish sandwiches I've had in a long time! My Quarter Pounder was above-average as well, although not quite as stellar as the Filet-O-Fish (can you tell I'm a bit of a Filet-O-Fish fanatic?). Not to be a McDonald's fanboy or anything, but when I rate a McDonald's (or any fast-food chain restaurant, for that matter), I only compare it to other McDonald's, not to all other restaurants. I think these 1-star reviewers are perhaps being a bit harsh, or unrealistic. You can't expect to walk in here and see Mario Batali making your Big Mac. This is a fairly large McDonald's, with a huge, nicely-landscaped parking lot with several entrances, and a kids' playhouse at one end of the building. It also has one of their upscale dining areas, with flat-screen televisions. When I walked in, the air conditioning was refreshingly cool, without being uncomfortably cold. Oddly, though, the gas fireplace was lit. What's up with that? Another oddity: A female employee making French fries wore leggings; um, I thought McDonald's had a strict uniform code? Anyway, employees seemed happy to be there. One male employee said to a different female employee: "You should bring your dog in for show and tell." She replied, "Nah ... my dog's mean."

Generally great but my order was messed up last week. tried calling the store multiple times and no…read moreanswer. tried contacting the franchisee and no answer their either. would just like my food fixed please.

Millers is by far the best roast beef I've had in Rhode Island, but if you're from Massachusetts you probably would be disappointed. I would say it's like their little brother's roast beef.

The parking lot can be hard to get out of at prime time for traffic, but there is a decent amount of parking as it seems most people were just picking up and leaving. There is some seating inside though! The staff at the counter were SO friendly! It's refreshing to recieve good customer service these days. We got the family meal deal which comes with 4 fully customizable roast beef sandwiches and 2 large fries or onion rings (onion rings have a $2 up charge) for 29.99 which for the size of the sandwiches and fries it is definitely worth it. We also got two sides of pickles, and a bottle of their BBQ sauce to try. The pickles are your average deli style pickle slices. The BBQ sauce is the best mix of sweet and tangy, with a little bit of spice. Everything even after a half hour drive was hot and fresh tasting. We will definitely be back for more!
