Ladies if you want your lashes done by someone who knows their stuff, then Smash Lash is the place for you to go!!! I'm someone who has had lash extensions on for over a year. When I finally got to Shannon at Smash lash, she showed me how they were being applied incorrectly, so much so I was loosing my own natural lashes. She has worked with me to get all the lashes that were applied wrong off and has reapplied new lash extension on correctly. FYI: If lashes are clumped together and pull when they are on, or your lash line is red and irritated, or you cant comb through them, then you are having them done wrong.!!! You are in serious risk of loosing your natural lashes permanently . There is nothing better than having someone as passionate as Shannon that knows her stuff and has been taught the correct way to apply them, do them for you. Trust me when I say, You will Love her knowledge, her passion, and her work ethic on this. She is very thorough and precise and does an Amazing Job!! I had been wanting to get lash extensions for a while, but wanted to find the right place/ do the research and get a recommendation from someone. One day a lovely gal came into my work and I had to know where she had gotten her lashes done. She told me Shannon at Smash Lash Tacoma did them and that she was going to be in Seattle to do lashes a couple times a week. She went on to tell me how amazing Shannon was and impressed by her level of knowledge and professionalism. I was sold. I have now been going to Shannon in Seattle for my lashes for a few months and have to agree with everything that her other client spoke of. The location is great (Queen Anne), the pricing is very reasonable, and Shannon is such a lovely person. I've been getting lash extensions for the past 6 years or so, and after this last year with Shannon I will follow her to the moon. This lady knows her sh*t! Cannot tell you how many compliments I get. Typically this is the conversation that occurs: Random Person: "You've got beautiful eyes, your eyelashes are so pretty! Are you wearing mascara?" I couldn't be more happy with my now long, thick eye lashes! I was nervous at first to get eyelash extensions, but Shannon put me right at ease. Shannon really is a true professional and takes her time on my lashes each time I go in. My lashes last a long time and look natural, yet give me the volume and length I desire. I have had lash extensions for many years. I had a bad experience with them as I was using an unlicensed, uncertified person applying them at a nail salon. I knew I was in trouble when I was experiencing severe pain after an application. I found Shannon, and made an appointment. She removed my old lashes that had been applied incorrectly and told me I had to wait at least 30 days to allow my real lashes to grow back, if they did at all due to the damage that had been caused. She applied my new lashes. I was amazed at her skill, knowledge of her products, pain free, sterile like precautions that I had not witnessed before. She is accessible and flexible in her scheduling and everytime I go I look forward to the hour long nap I take as she does her magic. I have white eyelashes that are almost see-through (I'm a red head). By April of 2014, I had already gone to three different places in Tacoma for lash extensions. No one knew what they were doing. They had a hard time seeing my lashes and ended up gluing numerous extensions onto numerous different lashes (the totally wrong way, as its supposed to be one extension per one last). All my lashes were pulling out and they looked terrible. I almost gave up. THEN I FOUND SHANNON AT SMASH LASH. I've been going to her since April. She is the best. I have been going to shannon for 3 years now and visit her location in queen anne. I have followed her to every location that she has been at shes that good. I have had several friends try out other extension places and all have come back with damage and missing lashes. I have been using shannon for 3 years and I have not had any of those problems. She is professional, clean and consistent. I get compliments on my lashes daily from asking if those are real, to what mascara I wear to get that look. They look lenghty and natural and are easy to up keep becasue shannon gives you a great guide on how to care and keep them lasting. Before going to Shannon I went to a nail salon that offered lash extensions. HUGE mistake. It was cheap, but I got what I paid for... they looked completely fake, were glued to my skin, horrid looking and slightly painful! Not to mention the women didn't even wash her hands before starting the service... I'm lucky I didn't leave with an eye infection. After I got home I IMMEDIATELY got online to research lash extensions and to hopefully find a saint to save my eyes. I found her! SHANNON IS AMAZING! I found shannon smash lash back in october and I must say she is amazing! I love my lashes! I have been going to her for my fills and I must say that when I do go in I barely have to have a lot to fill since she does such a great job, they hardly fall out. I've been going to Shannon for six months and she is amazing! Lots of my friends get Lash extensions but none of them look as good as Shannon's. My lashes look natural but thick and full an I barely have to wear makeup now because of the length added to my lashes I can pull off the 'natural' look all thanks to her. Ive had extensions else where and they wrecked my lashes I've not had any of that with her at all. I also received a facial and my skin never looked more glowing - best lash girl in Tacoma! My old lash girl moved to Houston, so I needed to find someone close to home that (obviously) was going to do a solid job. I stumbled across Jenn on Yelp and also checked out her Instagram, and decided to book with her. My first appointment with her was fun, because we discovered that we were super close in our pregnancies - her daughter was born a month or so before my son, so we always had that to connect with each other during appointments! Fast forward to now, and I love my appointments with Jenn! It's so fun to chat with her and be able to connect with someone who understands mom life and all the things that come with it. Beyond that, she's damn good at what she does! My lashes always look SO GOOD when I leave my appointments and I've had some insane retention in the past (not so much currently, as I'm going through postpartum hair loss... IYKYK). At my last appointment we did something really fun - added some pops of COLOR! So, some of my lashes are expertly placed and are blue and purple. I absolutely loooove them and I don't think I'll be going back. Lastly - Jenn is AMAZING about schedule flexibility. She understands that life happens, mom'min happens, and sometimes I have to ask for a reschedule and she never asks me to pay a fee or anything. Seriously amazing! The issue came into play with my second 18 - 20 month touch up I initially had to move my appointment out due to multiple deaths in the family & testing positive for covid and relayed that to her she allowed me to push it out then come to our rescheduled date she texted me that morning about having a migraine and needing to reschedule which obviously I was okay with being that I also had to do the same and then when I tried to contact her to reschedule she never responded to my DMs, texts, or emails. Ultimately I ended up losing my deposit because she never responded I have to this day still not gotten them touched up which my initial appointments were 2021 and my second touch up was 2022. It was the one following touch up that that I was never able to reschedule. I will say even with the disappointing customer service it's 2025 and I have not had them touched up since 2022 and they still look great minimal fading etc every time I get them waxed or my eyelashes done I get compliments still.

**update Review** I am only leaving three stars because of…read morethe experience I had with her customer service. I've had my lashes lifted here once and it was good. I wouldn't have her put on all that oil afterwards though if I went back because my lashes didn't stay lifted for that long. I've also had my brows waxed and they were good as well. But unfortunately I will not be back because of the fact I was charged $40 for a last minute cancellation fee which under normal circumstances would be fine. Except the fact it was basically her fault because I was pretty sure I had made the appointment but it was two months earlier so I wasn't 100% sure. Sooo, I logged into her website and it didn't show that I had any appointments. It showed the three I had before. Two I completed and one I had to reschedule. I also couldn't find the email at all. Not in my spam, trash, important emails or in the inbox. So, when my work asked me to do my training this week I said yes that works. So when I get a reminder text the day before my appointment you can bet your a_ _ I was surprised. And by that point I can not just stop my training. So I reached out to her and she said she had other clients say the same thing but you gotta pay anyway. Well you go ahead and take that $40 instead of a reoccurring client that would tip well and continue to be loyal.
