It is a very different concept. I'm glad we got to experience it. Spoke with Drew the week prior to coming and he was able to get my Groupon situation corrected. And then when we got there a real nice employee Tree(I know I'm spelling it wrong) assisted us. Very chill and laid back threw in some extras since we were the last party. We had a 40min package for 4 people. They wisely only allow 2 people in the room at a time. They put a timer on the door to countdown and beep when your time has elapsed. 40mins between 4 people to break stuff doesn't sound like alot but it's actually more than enough time. If I could do it over I'd reduce it to 20mins. Believe it or not, it's very tiring breaking things. Allow the facility is very hot. I recommend if in the area to give it a try. It's actually fun, you blow off some steam(if you have any) and you will remember it for a very long time.

This was my first time going into a smash room. I didn't know what to expect but knew I wanted to blow off some steam from how stressful work has been lately. I signed up for a quick 10min smash session. It was just what I needed! The service was quick, I was brought over to a small room that was already setup for me. They offer construction gloves, a hard helmet with a face shield and a bat for the type of session I booked. There's requirements for clothing and shoes that they inform you once you book, but they also offer a plastic protection suit if you prefer (at a small extra charge). I was able to smash items in a safe environment and it was great! I would highly recommend!

Doesn't look like much from the outside, because it isn't! You don't need a fancy place to break crap from goodwill! I thought it was a really fun place but it is quite a dump. The tool selection they give you to break stuff is pretty great as well. We will be back in the future!

You can hit solo or in a group for various time slots. I could not have thought of a better way to let loose and release some excess stress, anger, and energy. I even found a coupon that allowed me to break a larger item in addition to the ones provided with my reservation. The staff make you feel comfortable and safe providing protective gear (e.g. helmet, eye wear, and gloves) and allowing you to jam out to your music on a Bluetooth speaker.

5 out 5 for sure! We did the professional smash and we thought 20 min wouldn't be long enough but it 110% is, no need for a minute more. We had drew as our guide and he was awesome!! Definitely will be back. Tip: You're allowed to bring your own things as well! Go to the dollar store and get dishes!!

Duuuuude!!! I was here in February and I can't believe I waited so long to go do this. We picked a 20 min session and you can pick out two weapons. I chose a baseball bat and a crow bar. My friend had a golf club and sledge hammer. We smashed absolutely everything. We tossed glasses and hit them like baseballs. We destroyed a dresser. We made a playlist and they have speakers set up so you can rock out while you break everything. You must go here!! Perfect date!

This is a horrible league, don't sign up! We really aren't sure where that $59 per person…read moreregistration fee goes...it adds up to AT LEAST $12,000 PER SEASON for all the registration fees collected. -You don't get paid referees, so you're at the mercy of other players who have been assigned to ref for that week (which results in horrible calls and more arguing/tension than needed) -The person who runs the game doesn't have a permit to play on the field and actually got a ticket for playing an organized sport without the permit during our championship game -The fields you play on are horrible--there are tons of trees, you're next to a river, and it's not lighted so playing at night gets pretty difficult -The t-shirts got to us at our FOURTH game -The championship trophy wasn't present at the championship game--he has to mail it to us because he didn't order it with enough time to account for shipping delays -The ball we played with for the first 3 games was egg-shaped (not round) Horrible.

I tried re-connecting with old friends and used sites like meetup.com with no success.. That is until I found Nakid. They were hosting a beginning of season party at Jackson's, which I decided to check out. I discovered one thing about Nakid at this event, it's a social league more than anything. Needless to say, I had an awesome time and decided to join their Bar Sports league. Fast forward a few years.. I've made so many friends and connections through Nakid. I want to reiterate, this is a social league. If you're looking for an ultra-competitive kickball league, this is probably not going to be your cup of tea. This is an amazing league for people who want to meet more people and be social. Oh, and did I mention that we love to drink? I would recommend one of their beginning/end of season parties at Jackson's if you're a little unsure.

The store itself is huge and located within the restored 1901 Denver Tramway Building. This building is all brick and just stunning to walk up to and into. They offer every type of equipment one would need for their selected sport whether it's hiking, climbing, cycling, camping, paddling, skiing, snowboarding or overall fitness. They also offer the option to rent outdoor equipment, provide a full range bike shop and ski and snowboard services. The store features a 47 foot tall climbing wall right in the middle of the floor and other unique decorations. I have never been in such a huge REI store but it was a fun experience. My husband managed to spend all his saved up gift cards (Ha! Ha!) Service was friendly and helpful from the staff. REI can always be a little on the spendy side but I always try to catch their sales. I love being a member and receiving my annual rewards. Parking is the only downer as it's only free for the first hour. After that you must pay and believe me, an hour is not enough time here. So glad we had the opportunity to stop in, shop and check out this historic location.

MEET.WAIT.CHILL. Vying for worst run league in Denver,…read moreyou're better off joining bigger leagues like Volo and CityWideSports, which are better run and have games that actually start on time. We were in a 6 game softball league summer of 2023 and not single game started on time. A couple games had to end due to lack of sunlight and then finish the following week. Im not sure if they're aware that people plan their schedules around the games. One example was we had our first playoff game and the game had a timing change the morning off, and then we all received another email saying the umpire was running late 30 minutes before the game. Original game time was 530, then changed to 545, then 6pm....he didn't show up until 615pm. This was at a field with no lights and sunset at 730ish. We played a full game, but the following team couldn't finish theirs. If they knew they had scheduling or even staffing conflicts, why not play at a field with lights? Also the umpiring crew was horrendous. I give kudos to our game one playoff umpire, he was the first umpire they provided who knew the rules of softball. The others we've had issues...along with other teams with keeping track of outs, calling balls way foul a hit, balls a homerun when it's a ground rule double, etc. We've also played against another team who were sliding into our second basement and other fielders hard which would've been an automatic out at other leagues; safety was not an option for that umpire that game. Also we had the umpire on game 2 not keep track of the scores and they asked if we remember what the scores were for all games played that day! Only redeeming thing was that Mike is easily reachable and has been easy to talk to.
