Please AVOID this place! There are better, more professional options in town. A loved one had a unit here for SEVEN years. Not to mention how much they increased rent, but the amount of disrespect we dealt with tonight is completely uncalled for. We went to the unit for a final time to grab something we left and to let them know we were moving out of the unit. They had a red lock on the unit door, even though rent was not late. Employee, Mary, decided it was appropriate to make assumptions that we were just going to grab our stuff and not pay a clean-out fee (which was already previously discussed and decided on). There was never a single conversation that we were not planning on paying the clean-out fee. We just needed to be informed how much it would be to remove the empty boxes and such. She automatically assumed we weren't going to pay and basically called my husband a thief to his face and seemed shocked that he reacted. He demanded to have her supervisors name and a contact number. She refused to give any phone number to contact. She stated "this was her property". He stated that she still worked for the company and he wanted information. She was completely disrespectful and I'm sure she treats others this way, as well. She was not helpful and only escalated the argument. Why wouldn't someone get upset after being called a thief when that was far from the reality? She wouldn't even allow us to retrieve our property when we should have been let in. As we were walking out, she made sure to call my husband a piece of shit. I will make sure the town of Mount Pleasant is aware of this establishment and the unprofessionalism we were treated with tonight. We are not aggressive or violent people and never have issues like this. To witness this made me sick. She does NOT deserve to work somewhere where she deals with people for a living. Disgusting. Way to treat someone who was a customer for 7 years. There are WAY better options that are more affordable in town. read more
