Troy's estimate also recommended three men, which we were fine with and booked. We received a call about 30 minutes before they arrived, and once they arrived, they got to work. When you book Two Men and a Truck, you're charged a travel fee and an hourly rate. I was worried that in a rural area, we would be charged a higher travel fee, but we were not. The company has a large service area. The three gentlemen who moved my mom's two-story home to the smaller one-story ranch did an excellent job. The price was incredibly fair for the service and professionalism we received. Nothing was broken, and the crew took good care of my mom's belongings as if it were their family member's move. they provided recommendations on where to place furniture in my mom's new-to-her home. Everyone was super professional and worked FAST. In fact, they finished the move a bit earlier than we expected. Once they arrived and conducted the initial walk through I believed everything was good to go. I didn't learn until later that they had some concerns and issues. I spoke with their management and we were able to work out the problems and the company went above and beyond to satisfy the situation. My mission was to clear out a storage unit & pick up a Uhaul at this location. I went in from NY so i decided to fly in & Uber to the facility. Two negative things happened; my Uhaul reservation wasn't ready and I had the wrong combination code. At this time it was around 1pm and they closed at 5pm so i was running short on time. It was a very busy day for the staff from what i could see so it was hard for them to help me right away. Ultimately we all figured things out as a team and they were able to get me into another Uhaul rental for the same price. A bigger one! They then helped me cut the lock to the unit and had all the equipment available for me to load everything into the truck w no major issues. The manager even took me around the facility on his brand new golf cart which i thought was pretty cool! After i finished up i went to say bye to the team for all their help dealing w. the scenario I was in. They gave me a few water bottles for my long drive to FL and ultimately were happy to see me succeed. I would recommend this facility mainly for the great service & patience they provided me with.

My house was 1850 square feet plus had a double car garage with extended work area fully loaded with stuff. The movers started at 9 and were gone by 3:45. I moved from WV to SC. They unloaded and had my furniture put back together the very next day and were completely done by early afternoon. There was not a single scratch or any damage done whatsoever to any of my stuff. Also, when they packed my stuff- they organized it and labeled the boxes with detail making t much easier for me to unpack. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this company for anyone moving anywhere in the US. I referred them to a friend also moving across several states and she also was highly impressed. They communicated with me every step of he way letting me know where they were, when they would be there, etc etc. I used the largest truck (26 footer). Filled it and had a little room to spare. They worked hard and didn't waste time and were fantastic about listening to mom's requests about her hand-painted furniture. I'm less particular about my stuff, but not a single thing was scratched or dinged on mine. They were great about explaining insurance and options to us both, and my parents were able to call in on Friday and schedule a move for Saturday. Both crews showed up on time.

The 2nd time was equally as good, however, when I moved this last time into my home, they sent 2 trucks and 4 guys. The one that I had requested, which I had the first time was not available that day so they sent 4 others out. The one lead guy did not stay on top of the others and they just did what they wanted. They were slow, careless and I ended up with damaged furniture, damaged doorways into my NEW house and not one did they have the curtesy to let me know. They put things in one room that I asked them to and ended up just piling things on top of other things to the point where I can't get to anything without moving everything out. They put the remainder of the stuff in the garage and it looks like a trash heap in both my one bedroom and the garage. It took them almost 8 hours to move me. I did have 3 storage units, however, it only took 2 hours to move into the biggest one and about 1 1/2 hours to move into the 2nd one. I moved myself into the 3rd one. That was with only 2 guys per unit. This time, it took over 4 hours to move out of the units. That is insane. I am sorry to say that I would not recommend to anyone if you value your possessions and your time and money.
