No sign explaining why or when they'd be back. I called a few times last week and no response. I took my 3 laptops elsewhere to get fixed, an anti virus installed, updated hard drive, and a battery replaced. Everyone that works here is very friendly, but I need dependability more than convenience. I drove to Highland Park and found someone else to address my electronic repair needs. Although, Pcfixonsite has better pricing, in the end I chose a business who was open and available.

They called and said it would be ready friday afternoon but, when I get there it was still not ready and they had me wait an hour and a half as someone went somewhere else to get it. I appreciate them trying to get it to me on time but when I got to chicago it no longer could hold a charge for more than 2 hours! (comes to find out they switched my battery out (I bought the larger battery that gave me 2-3 days on a charge) I ended up having to buy a new phone in Chicago as I had to have phone access. I know many people have written good things about them and that is why I went there, but I will never use them again and would suggest you shop somewhere else.

Inside | Decor | The larger than life, crystal chandelier gets me every single time I step inside of the store, it's so beautiful! As you make your way up the red velvet steps inside of the Theatre, you will notice the details of just opulence all around! I feel like I should be wearing a glamorous floor-length evening gown, as I saunter down the aisles & browse the beautiful devices on the main floor! Haha! The location truly is a sight to be seen and I highly recommend! Customer Service | Wildly friendly & helpful! I've been to this location numerous times to order items in store, as well as to pick up items! Each visit includes focused conversation, as well as a few laughs and I always leave smiling and feeling good! I feel like everyone that I've ever interacted with here truly wants to help you find the item that works for you! Genius Bar | The other day, my phone had been overheating in a major way, so I took my chance & did a walk in! I walked up a few flights of steps to the grand balcony, where there was also seating! The gentleman who helped me was kind and helped as much as he could! However, I was told there would be a two hour wait! I couldn't take that chance, as I was too far away from home to wait that long & it was getting dark outside! I appreciated the time he spent with me to help solve the issue, including looking at other Apple locations for me! Overall | The vibe & appearance of this location is so worth it, as it's stunning & I always appreciate excellent customer service! Thanks again!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Apple Store with a manager named Lisa. From the…read morebeginning, she was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful toward me. I came in looking for help with my phone, but because my insurance was through T-Mobile rather than Apple, I felt like she immediately became unwilling to assist me. Her attitude was completely unprofessional. Instead of trying to explain my options or help me find a solution, she treated me as though I was a problem. I never cursed at her or threatened her. I did match the tone and attitude I was receiving, but I remained there because I was trying to get assistance with my phone. What made the situation even worse was that Lisa ultimately involved security and had me removed from the store rather than simply trying to resolve the situation or direct me to someone who could help. I felt singled out, disrespected, and discriminated against as a customer. A manager should know how to de-escalate a situation and treat customers with professionalism, even when the customer is frustrated. Asking security to remove a customer because you don't like their tone, while refusing to provide reasonable assistance, is not good customer service. I strongly believe Apple should review how this situation was handled and whether Lisa's conduct was consistent with Apple's standards for customer service and management. Whoever gave her managerial authority should seriously reconsider whether she is suited for a customer-facing leadership position. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, even when there is a disagreement. Very disappointing experience, and I hope Apple takes this complaint seriously.
