Abhorrent service. Dropped us literally in the middle of nowhere at a 7-Eleven and told us that's as far as they go. We were in from out of state and booked a $100 shuttle from the airport to Cocoa Beach. They took us only halfway!! Utterly trash service. Trashy van. I'm a New Yorker who needed to visit my sister who recently moved to Vero Beach. My very first attempt to get to Vero Beach (on Florida's eastern "Treasure Coast") was a flop - from NYC you can get to the local airport (Melbourne) ONLY by connecting flights via Atlanta (Delta) or Charlotte (US Air). Well, this proved a disaster as when I arrived at LaGuardia, I eventually had to accept that my first flight (LaGuardia/NYC to Charlotte) was so delayed that there was no way I could make my connecting flight. I cancelled my vacation in disgust, left the airport, and went home to find a better way. Enter the solution offered by Smart Shuttle Line, which allows the traveler to FLY DIRECT TO ORLANDO and to grab their quick, clean, comfy shuttle van down to points along the Treasure Coast (including Melbourne, Vero Beach, and more). Only $55 for a non-refundable ticket and just $10 extra to make your ticket fully-refundable - to be on the safe side, I paid the $10 because I was concerned about flight delays causing me to possibly miss my scheduled shuttle reservation (didn't happen, but the option to pay $10 and make my ticket refundable felt fair to me). Also, if you are travelling in a group of 3 or more, they offer group discounts! I don't know why their website doesn't appear in their Yelp profile, but you can easily just Google them and find their schedules, stops and fares all online, plus an explanation of the refundable fare option. I will NEVER again travel to Vero Beach via Melbourne Airport, because of the bother and expense related to the limited and EXPENSIVE, CONNECTING flight options available from NY to Melbourne. From now on, it's a DIRECT flight to Orlando for me, then a pleasant, safe and affordable 90-min. Orlando to Miami. Super cheap. Super easy. Awesome driver. Clean bus. I was frustrated that flights were a little too much work and there was no big line like Megabus that I could find between the two stops, but this was even better! Only thing that I would have liked would have been a pickup from WDW or a dropoff at the Port of Miami for an extra charge for two people without having to do any extra work trying to get a quote, but that's hardly a big deal. read more

Came here for my father's funeral and made a reservation with Smart Shuttle. 2 days before my scheduled trip, I found out that I needed to change my plans. I called Smart Shuttle and explained the situation. The lousy person on the phone informed me that I was out of luck because the tickets are NON REFUNDABLE. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PEOPLE!!! I booked a trip and was told to be at a Dennys at 1.30pm. Uber dropped me off at 1.09pm as recorded by Uber at the address provided... then I called them at 1.25pm, 1.35 and 1.45pm asking for the whereabouts of the bus.... they told me to wait that the driver is stuck in traffic.... 5 minutes later at 1.50pm a guy calls me to tell me the bus was there at 1.32 picked up passengers and left according to him!!!! When I tried asking why the lady had told me the driver was stuck in traffic at 1.45 the guy kept repeating himself over and over again that the bus had been there at 1.32... After I tried to call to complaint, the guy began attacking me with obscenities..... Now, I am stuck in Miami and lost my event I had tonight in Orlando... So if I put together the $15 uber to go, $15 to come back, $65 the event.... it cost me $100 the supreme negligence of this company. So I booked last year for a trip that got cancelled. I talked with the owner who notified me that there were ZERO refunds...but I had a year to claim it and use the service again. When I did reach back before the year was up,they told me that the policy was 6 months. They also told me no one would ever say the service was valid for a year. Okay. Rude costumer service!! This was my first time booking with this company I needed to reschedule my reservations and they would not allow me to change it. Even after they called me to confirm and I said it was for the wrong date!!! When I called later today to make sure the man that had confirmed my inquiry he said I could not reschedule, get a refund or get any credit. I said I wanted to cancel my second trip they sent me to their third party and their third party sent me back to this bus line. NEVER use this company. They cancelled our shuttle from Orlando to Miami airport one day before, and they said we could take another shuttle from another company and that they had already confirmed and paid for us, which until then seemed ok. When we arrived to the new shuttle station we were not checked in the shuttle, so we lost the bus and had to chase it to the next stop to check in. We arrived late to the airport, Smart Shuttle Line did not refund any expense to us and they were very rude and not helpful, they didn't even answer our calls or emails when we tried to contact them. I'm a repeat customer for Smart Shuttle. I use their shuttle service at least 3 times weekly for my work commute between Miami and Orlando. I have used other shuttles services in the past and Smart Shuttle is by far the most professional, clean, and reliable service. They offer complimentary WiFi on all shuttles which saves me time by getting work done on the road. Overall a great shuttle service with friendly and experienced drivers that make my commute stress free and enjoyable at a low economical price! On my last trip we made the trip in 3 hours and 55 minutes the fastest time out of any shuttle service I used in the past because they have very few stops. They will cheat you. They were going to be late to pick me up so I had to drive my own car so I would not miss my flight. They only gave me a credit for the trip to the airport, but would not refund the return trip even though I now had my car and did not need the return home shuttle. First of all, I booked the shuttle for my father who was arriving on an international flight. They were very good with taking the booking, but the rest was all a little disappointing. They informed me that my father had to be at the bus pick up at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled bus time (which was 6:35pm) from Miami. My father was there from about 5:30pm. The bus showed up late first of all, second the driver did not speak very good English and was not very friendly. Third the drive charged my dad $7 for a carry on when the website clearly states 1 carry on and 1 checked bag. The fourth thing about half way in the trip they had a 15 minute stop, where they switched drivers without really saying anything to the passengers on the bus, And also the bus according to online is scheduled to arrive to the kissimmee stop by 10:00 pm and it arrived at 10:30pm. When my father told me that they charged him, I called the same night but the office was already closed, So the next day which was yesterday, I called the office a lady answered the phone and said that she had to "look into the situation" with her manager and that she would call me back, needless to say she has not called me back. I called today and a gentleman answered the phone and gave the excuse that they have to "check" with the driver why he charged my dad and he would call me back today!! On 27th of April I booked with Smart Shuttle line a return trip to Orlando Airport. I was picked up and taken there at the start of my vacation on 23rd May. I returned on Sat 7th June and I was due to be picked up at 3.18pm. I was at the bus collection point at 2.10pm. 25 minutes after the appointed time I called the company to ask why the bus was late and when I might expect it. I spoke to a lady who asked for the confirmation number which I gave her. She put me on hold and came back and said she didn't have any pickup at Orlando airport scheduled for that day. There was no bus coming. This company only arrive to pick up at scheduled stops if they have a client waiting, otherwise there is no service. I asked why I wasn't on the schedule as I had in my hand the confirmation, time and I had paid and was waiting there 2 hours from home. I had no way to get there. She told me there was no bus coming then put me on hold. A man came on the phone and asked could he help me. I told him I had booked and was waiting for the bus. He put me on hold, came back and said the bus arrived at the airport at 3.14 and picked up a passenger and left at 3.18 on schedule!!!!! I told him I was standing there from 2.10 and it was now 3.50, there was NO bus and NO other passenger waiting and the lady I just spoke to said there was no bus scheduled to arrive at the airport as they had nobody to pick up. Instead of any kind of apology for their mistake he called me a liar and said I wasn't there!! His bus came and I wasn't waiting so it left. I asked how that can be when the lady told me there was no bus coming to the airport that day and she was the one had the schedules for the drivers. Again he told me I was lying. I asked when the next bus was going to be as I had no way to get home from the airport and he told me there would be no bus as he had nobody to pick up. I had just come from the UK and been traveling 15 hours by that point, verbally abused and abandoned with no way to get home. I told them this and was advised to 'do what you have to, there will be no bus coming'. I had to call someone to come from Ft Pierce 2 hours away and pick me up. I was lucky that I had a friend willing to drive to pick me up at such short notice. What if this happened to some unsuspecting person from out of town or another country who has no one to contact. This is just a totally unacceptable way for any business to treat people. read more

I have used smart shuttle before from Orlando to Vero Beach and back without any problems, but not this time. My plane was delayed and I called them twice prior to departure from Newark to tell them it was delayed and they never once told me if you miss your RESERVED shuttle time we cannot help you! Even though there was a later shuttle time listed on the schedule if no one is booked on it they will not take you. The customer has no way of knowing if other shuttles are running. This policy Is not listed any where on the website either. I called to explain this to them and the manager still did not get my point. I understand they cannot wait if other people are waiting to leave but it is also not my fault if the plane is delayed and I paid for a shuttle time that I cannot make. At least they refunded me the one way trip. They are Ok if everything is on time but leave yourself plenty of time between arrival and shuttle departure time or you will be stuck and have to make other arrangements at the last minute. read more
