Gregg was referred to me by a friend as I needed help with setting up my new TV and Bluray DVD player (that darn new fangled technology stuff). Apparently, I am quite inept at reading, and interpreting, instruction manuals...no comments from the peanut gallery! I called Gregg to schedule an appointment, he answered the phone immediately, and we were able to talk about what I thought the problem was and what it actually was. He showed up early for our appointment, and was able to program/setup everything very quickly. Greg is a nice and honest guy. We had a true SOS matter - the lap top broke just before catching the flight - few sms and he came to meet me - gave me a quick response ( couldn't be fixed unfortunately ) - I left the lap top with him and although he wouldn't charge me anything since he couldn't repair it he hassled to coordinate the return of the computer. Gregg from GadgetSOS is simply one of the finest tech guy I've ever come across. We've had problems with our home theater system due to a poor remote and a poor setup of our equipment. The original installer was hard to reach and always late if you could get him to respond. Gregg came in and made a couple of suggestions to improve our system and we asked him to make it happen. He did an outstanding job and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I consider him to be brilliant in his field and will not use anyone else but him from hereon. Gregg-Gadget comes to my home, mostly figures out how to program my remote, charges $100 for less than an hour, I guess it's my bad for not asking rates but a good business will tell you up front, again my bad. An hour later while I am rechecking the remote I find one of the features is not working. I called him to come back but he was obviously out on the town (noise) and asked me if he could guide me over the phone. I could barely hear him and he did not have the professionalism to go to a quieter spot. I got it to work right and then a couple weeks later I have a problem and I try to reach out 3 times in different ways email,text and phone message. He did not answer one. P.S. I always note in my reviews of service people that I am a professional tradesman of 35 years and my Father's shop has been in business 87 years so I know about integrity and service. read more

Greg is the guy to call. He is professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I now have peace of mind after Greg automated my father's home. Greg installed Ring, Alexa and automated lighting. As a busy working single woman, I wish I could afford a personal assistant. Instead, I hired Gadget SOS to buy and install a new home computer for me. If it was possible to award more than five stars for Gregg service, then I would. He fixed a malware issue that completely prevented me from going on-line. I had encountered a similar problem in the past before I discovered Gregg on Angie's List. The company that fixed the issue previously charged higher fees, required me to take my computer to their site, charged higher fees--and forced me to be without my computer for two days, which severely hindered in my business activities (the highest cost of all!). By comparison, I texted Gregg at 8 in the evening asking for help with this malware problem and he arrived at my home office by 9:30 the same night. It took Gregg just 30 minutes to get my computer up and going and with minimal loss to business time, which I am grateful for since I was facing an important deadline. In short, Gregg receivable and does what he says he will do, he responds quickly requests for help, he communicates exceedingly well, he has the customer's interest at heart and he is extremely personable. I cannot recommend Gregg highly enough based on my experiences with him. read more
