I love Smart Cow! I've visited a number of times since I was a kid. Absolutely love every visit. The inside is very bright and cozy and my favorite part is the trivia shown on the tv all day every day. You can go in, get some fro yo and sit and do some trivia! Or even take to go. They change their flavors around. My absolute favorite is the cookies n cream mixed with cake batter. I love how the machines have pre mixed flavor or you can mix whatever flavors of your choice. They also frequently have a dole pineapple flavor very similar (better in my opinion) to the famous dole whip sold at Disney. It's self serve and there's a number of toppings from cereal, gummies, cookie doughs, and sauces like peanut butter, marshmallow, caramel and hot fudge. Pricing is based on the weight, at the register you weigh your fro yo(s) and pay based on the weight. Not sure what the prices is per ounce but I paid $4.98 for a medium sized cup (the green cup shown in the picture). I also love how portions of their proceeds (or all I'm not sure) on Tuesdays are donated to selected local schools. Give it a visit if you're in the area, you surely won't regret it. read more

This was not our first time visiting Smart Cow, and this visit was just like any other. We were greeted as soon as we walking in the door, which is usually a 50/50 chance here. We opted for the smaller size of container, not quite sure on what we were looking to try. It is quite disheartening knowing they no longer offer sample scoops. We would love to see that come back. The camera signs posted all over the store really send the message, but not sure if it's the message they intend. I like to get 3-4 flavors; raspberry sherbet, cheese cake and the dark chocolate with juice filled boboa balls. I would definitely recommend giving these flavors a try if they're up your alley! Their flavors seem to have a rotation which is refreshing, hats off to smart cow. My partner when a different route and enjoyed the Cookie Monster (new flavor), cake batter and salter pretzel. It seems smart cow has recently had an addition of cotton candy toppings. I was in favor of this topping, it had a slight taste of cotton candy but mainly just sweet. After a blind test tasting of the three frozen yogurts we can attest these flavors really embrace their name! Overall our experience was quite swell, and ordinary. Getting the yogurt was very crammed, and right when we were about to put our bowls on the scale a customer bumped into my sister and she dropped her whole bowl on the counter upside down. HANDS DOWN BEST FROYO PLACE! a MUST stop for the whole family! We have been coming here for almost two years now (since we moved to the area). We come multiple times a week as a family, with friends or with the dogs! You have many options to choose from flavor wise. They also have gluten-free and dairy free flavors if you ask the workers for the flavor sheet, it has all the information about each flavor on it. As like any FroYo place you can choose as many toppings as you would like but I swear they have more options than yo mama or orange leaf. The staff is usually younger high school students and they are very sweet and friendly. They do a great job at maintaining the cleanliness of the shop. I think it's very important to ensure that the tables and counters are wiped down especially with their being limited tables to sit at inside. The staff ensures that the inside looks up to par. The price is based on weight but I swear it's cheaper than yo mama. They also offer doggy FroYo treats with a dog treat inside of them for one dollar. They offer complimentary water as well. Also the spoons glow in the dark, super neat! They have a nice area to sit inside and a beautiful patio outside. They always have trivia on the TV inside which makes the dining experience even more fun. My favorite thing that I love most about smart cow is that each month they donate a certain percentage of their proceeds to different schools within the area. They have a board that is very colorful and pleasing to the eye to show where the proceeds have gone recently. It is pet friendly on the patio in the back and they have dog water bowls placed outside for our furry friends. Hands-down would never go to another frozen yogurt place again. Finally! A frozen yogurt store. With 16 flavors of frozen yogurt and more serve-yourself toppings than you could possibly count, you can make your own "flavor of the day" every day. The best part, no waiting with a number at a table. You make your own original frozen yogurt masterpiece with toppings and dig in as soon as you make it. Menomonee Falls has more frozen custard locations than I can count (some good - some not so good). We had been going to a store like Smart Cow Frozen Yogurt Bar downtown in the 3rd Ward. Now we only have to drive 1 mile for a great dessert! I came in with my 2 teenage sons after school to try the frozen yogurt and "buy local." We will definitely be back. The store is immaculately clean, and well staffed. The owner was out and talking to customers. We were there at about 3pm and the store was full of everyone from local kids on their way home from school, to college age girls, families and some more elderly couples. There are great tables for the kids that have chalkboard tops and chalk sticks in the middle to draw. There is also a "patio" area that faces Appleton. I assume that will get some use this next summer. We had 16 flavors to choose from, and you can mix and match. There are small tasting containers if you want to try a small sample. There were some sorbets, white chocolate mousse, triple chocolate, red velvet cupcake, cookies and cream, cheesecake and others. There was even a no sugar added flavor. The frozen yogurt is sold by the ounce and is self serve. After we created our mix and match frozen yogurt flavors, there were toppings consisting of every manner of cereal, crushed candy bars, nuts, cookie dough, oreos, fresh fruits, and glazes and sauces at the end to cover it all. DO NOT COME HERE. None of the employees are wearing masks, yet every customer I saw go in wore a mask. These employees are working with the yogurt and the toppings everyday. Outstanding! As a Yogurt Bar aficionado, I'm happy to say this one is the perfect spot to indulge. They offer flavors that are creative yet approachable, and the selection of toppings is "TOP notch"! Oh, and, THEY HAVE MARSHMALLOW SAUCE!! They offer a rewards program that is simple to use, and a free 4 oz. serving for downloading their app. The staff members were friendly and the place was clean, even with a steady stream of customers on a Saturday night. I love this Fro-yo shop, I have been to almost everyone in the Milwaukee area and this is hands down the best. They have great flavors, toppings, it is clean, they have trivia to play while you eat, and they even give back to the area schools. Their customer service is amazing!!
