At 9:00 a.m. that day, I received an appointment confirmation email that asked me to confirm, which I did. David never appeared. No one emailed or called me - they just left me waiting for nothing. Ghosting a potential or current customer is the most unprofessional thing a company can do, and shows their complete disregard for you by wasting your time. They could have declined the appointment or reached out to say they did not want this work, and anyone would understand that. This was rude and a huge red flag about their business model. They inadvertently did me a favor and have sent me elsewhere.

(Materials didn't work for the wall and they had to dig more than expected due to grade). That's not the customers fault! They finished around the patio with soil beds per my request, but did not dig the grass out before hand. I assume a professional landscaper would know better, so they either aren't very knowledgeable or they did it intentionally. Months later I am battling Bermuda grass daily, and I am going to have to dig it all out myself and redo the topsoil and mulch beds. I tried reaching out because it wasn't done correctly, but I was given a bs excuse and they would not admit their fault. *Edit to the owners reply* - There is not 6 inches of screens below the dirt, only the areas closest to the patio. You can come look for yourself if you don't believe me. While you are here, look at my other beds that I've had for two years and tell me how much Bermuda grass is growing in there. If you are correct I will delete my review and move on. Also, I have been maintaining it more than weekly to try to stay on top of it. I know how to maintain a yard. I left for vacation for two weeks and this is what I returned to, which is why the review was left just now. You are correct that I should have contacted you sooner, but I also expected with the shoddy work, and the 1 year warranty, Grounds Guys would uphold their end.

The first week they showed up on a Wednesday and only cut the back yard. They left grass clippings all over the yard and did not service the front yard at all. They failed to trim the bushes, leaf blow the driveway and patio, or edge the yard. All of which were services I paid for. Unfortunately, this was the best experience I had with Carolina Pro Lawn Care and it only got worse from there. They were supposed to come back two weeks later and never showed up despite paying them $40 for the service. After ignoring my calls and emails for several days, I was finally able to get ahold of them. They said they didn't service the property because I had multiple dogs in my backyard. However, I don't have any dogs or pets on the property. At first I thought they tried the wrong house but they confirmed otherwise and said they would try again next week. The following week they did not show up again. I have reached out multiple times and they finally said there was a dog in my yard again even though there were still no animals on the property. I seriously doubt they even came by the property that day. At this point they have not mowed my grass in over 4 weeks. I had to cut it myself so I didn't receive a fine from the homeowners association. Carolina Lawn Care assured me they would be by in two weeks for scheduled service. As you can guess, they didn't show up again. I called to have them come out and they said they would come by on Wednesday instead. I waited at the house all day Wednesday to ensure there were no issues and everything went smoothly. As of 6pm, they had not come by and I was about to email them to see what the issue was. Right about that time, I received yet another email saying they had come by and my dogs were out again. Still not dogs on the property and my neighbors don't have dogs either. Its at this point I realized this company is nothing but dishonest. They will blatantly lie to your face and will look for ways to steal your money. If the weather is hot they will fabricate a story so they don't have to work in the heat. The customer service is horrible and I would not expect them to tell you the truth about their services. They will also refuse to return emails. This company is far from professional and I would recommend against using them for any of your lawn care needs. There are a lot better options with hard working, reliable workers. This company is full of liars and thief's. BEWARE!

I have been using their services for 4 years now and have had an awesome experience. They communicate with me every step of the way and when I had one small issue, (in 4 years - 1 small issue with any company is unheard of in my opinion) they immediately took care of it, no questions asked. They helped me navigate the permitting process for the new water meter, had it connected, and tested it with the town. The second was fixing drainage issues in the yard. Rob walked around the property and was able to determine where to best place catch basins/connect gutters to reduce run-off. The project was completed in two days, and I haven't had drainage issues since! The team is reliable and the work is done to a high standard. I appreciated how they were able to keep much of the grass intact, it was hard to tell where the work was done after a few weeks. They also stand by their work. One of the gutter drainage pipes surfaced slightly after a storm, and the team came back out and re-buried it at no charge.
