He said he told me how much it was per square foot but he really never did and I wouldn't be able to know for sure how much that meant. If I would've had a quote I would've never had it done by him. He did excellent work but nothing could warrant $1,855. He said I had some cat stains but I watched them clean it and they didn't do anything out of the ordinary to clean the stains. The regular work just took care of them. He may have sprayed them ahead of time. I would never recommend him to anybody because of the cost. I called him the next day and told him I think his prices were outrageous. He tried to explain it all away. I've had a lot more carpet work done in my previous house and nothing came close to this price. Patricia NOTE I might add that this should be a lesson for you. You should give upfront costs to customers so they can make a decision if they want to pay your price. It is UNPROFESSIONAL not to do so. When we came up with the time that you were going to do my carpeting I asked your wife what would the cost be. She said he will tell you when he comes there. He will look at it and then give you a price but you came here and I showed you the work And you started working without even a hint of the price. I joked, I hope it's not $9000 but that was supposed to be a hint to not charge me too much. So if you would've given me the price up front we would not be in this situation. Not only did he rid all remaining water in carpet, the carpets looked brand new...the damp smell was gone and he left a couple turbo blowers and commercial dehumidifier to run for a couple days. My husband and I couldn't believe the results. Additionally, it truly did clean and rid any water, over a month later- still no damp or musty smell. It was well worth it and we didn't have to rip up nor replace any of our flooring. We have had Vic out a few more times, to clean our sectional, upstairs carpeting, etc. and were happy everytime. Our senior cat had urinated outside of the litter box and Vic was able to treat & seal areas on hardwood flooring, we had previously tried every cat urine treatment on the market and the cat continued to go in the same area.
