Floors I had never seen before until the renovation. The hallway floors also had tile on them which was underneath the carpet. Lucky all the floors were still in pretty good shape. My original kitchen contractor had pulled up the carpet and tile and sanded them. However, we parted ways before the job was done and I reached out to AC&T to do the floors because of their great reviews. It was true. Kevin amd his team are great! Kevin initially came out and looked at my floors, talked to me about what I wanted to do, made suggestions. The price for us was good and so we booked with them. We stayed in an airbnb for a few days while they worked on the floors because I was having them stained and we wouldn't be able to walk on them. The team came in and re-sanded all the floors including the steps and made them so much better. They also reinforced the steps and filled in any wood gaps all around. Pricing was very reasonable. Scheduling was easy - Adam came out to do our measurements on a Saturday which helped accommodate my work schedule. He offered recommendations based on durable and ease to clean along with maintenance and warranty information (having a Golden Retriever and wanting light colored carpet, I wanted to make sure we were covered and the carpet cleaned up well!) I ended up adding a sink area (which required him to install a cabinet, hook up old plumbing, and install tile/grout) after he'd quoted the job and he was happy to accommodate the changes. He also ended up creating a new wooden top for the bench area, which was also not planned, but he did a beautiful job and was extremely fair in the additional cost for the work. He ran into several unforeseen challenges with my old house, but he always came up with creative solutions. Krisz was friendly, courteous, and careful about keeping the work area clean. It took a bit longer than he had estimated, but he kept me totally informed about the change in the timeline throughout the project. The end result was much better than I expected.
