The quality of his work was really high. For this windshield, he picked up an OEM windshield from the dealership and installed it at my house. A few days later, I took it to the dealership to do the camera calibration service. This was much less expensive than having the dealership do the whole package, and the quality of the install was probably better. Plus, I liked being able to let the car sit in my driveway for 24 hours to let the adhesive cure instead of driving it back from a dealership right after install, which vibrates the adhesive and loosens it.

Dashboard alerts for the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) happened only AFTER crossing a divider line. MOST DANGEROUS of all: There were never any alerts for the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)! To test, I crawled toward parked cars and even walls. It was impossible to get any CMBS alerts. $385 for this bungled job! Bottom Line: I paid $385 for a camera alignment that needs to be redone at a specialty shop because I was not told they lacked the equipment to do it correctly. The owner would not stand behind his work. He told me to go to a shop with better equipment if I wanted it done right and to pay for it myself. Ugh. In fairness, they correctly installed a windshield. If you have an old vehicle WITHOUT a forward-facing safety camera, the shop is probably good enough. If your vehicle has any modern safety functions, run away from this shop. Cameras typically have to be re-calibrated after a windshield replacement. This shop will take your money, but NOT stand behind its work.

The reason why I went with Onsite Auto Glass is because they were able to fit me into their schedule the following day and offered the most competitive pricing, while being very prompt in their response. I even received a phone call the next morning to confirm my appointment. The technician called me prior to arriving to my house and was ready to work. He told me it would take about 2 hours so I went back inside and proceeded to WFH. I came out a little over an hour later to check on the progress and took a picture of my car. All in all, the quality of the windshield is good for an aftermarket glass and the install appeared to go smoothly. I would dock a half a star simply because the technician didn't put a work mat on my hood and had all of his tools resting on top of my paint. Additionally, the old adhesive that was scraped off was left all over my driveway. I had to sweep and clean up the mess, which wasn't an issue but wish this was taken care of.
