Had a wonderful experience today! I Called the store and asked a very nice, respectful man named Angel to search an item for me. He was busy at the register and he called me back within 10 minutes. He called me back with the information I had asked for along with the quantity that was in the store. It is very rare to find excellent customer service skills today. I've been to this location a few times. Today was not a good day. I went in for one item. Once I found a suitable item, I went to the 10 items or less line with my one item. There was a guy directly in front of me with less than ten items, but the lady in front of him had over ten items on the belt already and plus she had a basket full of other items. Usually I will say something to the cashier, but because she was already there before I reached the line, I didn't. As far as I know, the cashier could have invited her to the 10 items or less line. In any case when there are only two registers open, it's nice to leave one of them for customers with only a few items. After about eight minutes waiting in line, another cashier opened another register. read more

Very good on prices very good on items that I need for small party or big parties everyday fruits and vegetables are also great prices especially fresh. Great location there's also a 99 cent store located next to it so it's been very helpful grabbing a lot of the things I need for a great low prices. read more

I'm writing an update so quickly because I hated giving such a low rating on a store that I believe should have more. I have visited S&F at least twice since my review and I don't know what happened to the cashier that I always had but my experience has been so much better since I have not had to deal with her. Sorry, just my feelings. This is my go to store after going to the warehouse store. I pick up the small items like 1 gallon of milk or a loaf of bread. Always check the vegetable and meat section. And I love their lemonade. I usually leave here thinking what did I do because I end up with more frozen items that I planned. This store is getting busier (maybe the new apartment complex across the street). They are going to need additional cashiers and someone to gather shopping carts. read more

The store itself is great. Prices, selection, overall cleanliness, everything. It's like a mini-Costco. However, their customer service skills could use a tune-up. Some of their employees are rude and obviously not "into" serving the customer. Beware of LIZ at this particular location. She cares more about texting and buying energy drinks for herself than she does about taking care of the long lines that tend to happen in the store. read more

This place is sort of like a smaller warehouse store, they have lots of bulk items sugar flower, drinks, things of that nature. There are some deals to be had here if you look around. There are lots of odd things to see if you want to look around the aisles. They sell torani syrups in many different flavors as well as more items to make coffee's and Italian sodas. They also have bulk candies. If you wanted to get some party supplies, plastic cups, plates and things of that nature this would be the place to go. If you don't want to or can't afford a Costco membership this is the place that I would go to find bulk items. read more

Ohhh good ole smart and final. Clean place to shop & nice selection of produce. I gave three stars because every time I go the girls at the front always have a attitude. I tried to make conversation with one girl and she ignored me and talked to employee behind me. So rude. Didn't get a receipt and when I got home I noticed I was missing two packages of Italian sausage, so I call and I asked if I left anything at the register and the guy said not to his knowledge, but if I bring In my receipt he can check the cameras. Well what do you know she didn't give me a receipt, my fault for not even checking before I left, but I was just so shocked at how rude the chola chick was. Last time I ever go there. I suggest management retrain the girls at the front on how to deal with the public because clearly they don't know how. read more

This place is incredible. They have lots of things in bulk that are cheaper than Costco. They also have lots of kitchen supplies that are cheaper than other stores, as this is a restaurant supply store. I would have given it 5 stars, but the location is a little bit hard to find. read more

This is my favorite store, I come here very often! Today the line was super long and I experienced dealing with a rude cashier. I did catch her name which was Brianna, as she was helping me she was on her phone, didn't even bother greeting me. All she asked was "Do you need a bag?" in a rudely manner. She needs to be retrained. I believe if there's a long line, you should try getting your customers out quickly. Very disappointed don't think I'll be returning. read more

This review is solely based on our experience with the cashier Cindy B talk about unprofessional. The moment we walked up to the register she had a attitude asking us in a rude way "do you want bags?" Okay that's where it begun. I had picked out several baby food packs for my infant, I noticed that the color of the baby food was quite off. I checked the expiration date (THANKFULLY), and sure enough it was expired by a couple of months. I put it to the side and she again said in a rude voice "I'll take that up here." Again being RUDE. So I ignored her. She then raised her voice again and said "excuse me ma'am I said I'll take that up here." I looked at her and I said I HEARD YOU! Mind you in my eyes you WILL get treated the way you treat me. So if you want to have a bad attitude guess what I WILL DO THE SAME. Then I told her "you guys should really check your baby food for expiration dates because that's not safe". Again being extremely rude she replies saying "uhm have you seen our line?" So because you guys are busy that makes it okay to have EXPIRED BABY FOOD ON YOUR SHELVES?!?! Uhm yeah that's a TRASH comeback if you ask me. She got upset and said "I don't have to serve you if you are gonna keep taking to me like that." Oh okay, so it's okay for you to be rude but once somebody starts acting rude you wanna play victim? BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. So she walked off and locked herself in the office. Okay no worries. Got another cashier to come and help us we asked to speak to a manager and their excuse was "Christian our manager for (right now) is on lunch." So then the Cindy chick walks out asking "yeah"? "I said you are the manager?" She replied with "yes." I said can I have corporates number to file a complaint she said I don't know it. So you are a manager but you don't know the number? I call BS. She kept talking smack and then had the nerve to tell me not to come back yeah okay I'll see you next week YOU WONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO. Fix your attitude. Manager or not if I was in corporate and I rolled those tapes back to watch that behavior you would have been FIRED. Take the stick out your ass and put a smile on. Don't like your job? Go back to school and quit bagging groceries for a living. read more

Not a place I go to frequently, but every now and then I need lots of plates, napkins, plastic utensils etc, for a BBQ or party and thats when Smart & Final comes in handy. Inexpensive + quantity, to pack your party. No club card needed, no long lines, no parking lot drama. read more

I started really liking this store as an alternative to quicker shopping than Costco but it lacks Costco's quality in many areas. One important area that it lacks quality is that they sell expired food. I have purchased items that upon getting home and putting away them notice the expiration date. Last night tho was the last straw, during dinner something didn't quite taste right...checked the package and sure enough the item was expired! My family stopped eating it and seem to be doing ok after eating some of the food. I expect to go in a grocery store and get something fresh not expired, this is really bad business. read more

I have never been treated so rudely anywhere!!! Liz was the cashier working and if the management of this store had a clue, they would keep her away from any customer interaction! Let me start by saying this girl with the glasses was so effin rude beyond rude first with the person in front if me she literally demanded him if he wanted his three items bagged he needed to put it on the slider in the rudest way!! And then I came up obviously already very upset and she scanned my stuff and literally did not even make eye contact once nor smile RUDE!!!!
