A detailed xray was necessary and was taken at a different practice. My husband brought the disc to this office and weeks went by. Regardless of how many times he spoke to the office manager, no follow up was done. Besides this, the office made us pay $243 in advance but would not explain why.(husband's coverage had hundreds of dollars still available for treatment) He went to another practice and had an excellent dentist who removed the tooth (told him that never should a second root canal be done on the same tooth!) We have been trying to get a refund for the money we paid, and keep getting told someone will get back to us. So far- crickets.

I was given clear treatment, payment, and post-procedure plans. The entire experience was extremely professional at every step. If you need a dentist or endodontist, I highly recommend them!

I have passed it hundreds of times in the past two years since living in the area. It's a quaint building, a residential property. I went in today after making a SAME DAY APPOINTMENT, which is unheard of. I arrived half an hour early and the inside is so quaint and cozy. You don't feel like you're in a waiting room, you almost feel like you're on someone's enclosed country porch. I filled out my paperwork, and I was taken back to the dental chair RIGHT ON TIME. No waiting, no wondering. The hygienist was incredibly sweet and polite (the receptionist too), took all my info and was very considerate and understanding taking my x-rays which of course are so unpleasant. Then I saw Dr. Emily Hu, and I cannot recommend her enough. She was SO patient with me. I have no pain tolerance, and she was so considerate and kind. Several times she held up a hand mirror and showed me exactly what was going on with some problem areas, and explained clearly and in a non-judgmental way. Going to the dentist is never fun but this experience was so great, I just can't believe it. I have seen some pretty crappy dentists in my life but HappyCare and Dr. Hu were the best I have ever visited in my 40 years on Earth.

Either she didn't do it or he ignored it. He came in and sat down without a hello or any greeting. At that time I asked to be numbed and he refused. He then took the explorer to look in my mouth and pulled my gum down hard with his gloved thumb. His thumbnail was deep into the area of pain. I asked again to have it numbed. He threw his instrument down and said "I'm done". Dr. Pratt acted like a petulant child. His immaturity astounded me. He does not listen to his patients. He does not care to explain anything. I would seriously consider another dentist. If you were at all thinking of Dr. Pratt. I have been a nurse for over 40 years and have never seen that kind of treatment of a doctor to a patient. By the way, he came to office with his assistant just to work on my tooth and apparently another patient who had some issue too. That is to me, compassion. We also like their higenists at his practice. He is honest and reasonable in his charges.
