One of the my favorite places to eat out, hands down. If you're looking for quick plain cheap pizza, this is probably NOT the place for you, but if you're interested in a delicious artisan pizza experience with a great selection of beer and wine and a very friendly staff, please try this place. My go-to is the goat cheese, fig, and honey pizza which is to die for. I've also tried the margherita pizza and the sopressata and smoked mozzarella pizza, which are both delicious as well. Sometimes we save room for dessert and order the Nutella dessert pizza which is unique and wonderful, particularly for a dessert lover like myself. The space is well designed and visually appealing. I ordered a salad for take out that is supposed to have 3 Ingredients - tomato, avocado and mozzarella cheese. When I opened it at home we saw it had NO mozzarella. First - how do you miss one of three ingredients? Second - when I called they told me I had to drive back over to pick up a few pieces of cheese. No offer to deliver it or even better - give me a new salad with everything. When I asked about delivery I was told all the delivery men were out. Meanwhile when I went down there the restaurant was complete empty with staff just sitting around. The service there has gone downhill and it's so disappointing as I do like their food but I won't order from there again. We have some other new excellent pizza places in the area - you'd think they'd want to stay in the A game but they are quickly losing their place in the running of the best pizza places in the area. Just move and came in here once for a slice and didn't pay it any mind. I've been ordering from each of the nearby pizza places and this is the best NY style pizza so far. The sauce is just right, the crust is nice and doughy with the right amount of crisp on the outside. Great stuff! read more

Went for the first time last night & we were impressed! The chicken cutlet sandwich was so good. The prices were pretty standard for Westchester. My $8 sandwich was so big I could only eat half. However, the BEST part about dinner was the homemade "Tomato Oil." My boyfriend and I loved it. We bought a jar to take home! Highly recommend. We definitely will be back! read more

I bought a Groupon for Slyce and then forgot about it until I realized it was about to expire. So I took a look at Yelp to see what I bought and was horrified with what I read...ran out of basics, 1 hour wait for pizza being delivered to the table, people being intimidated by their bill being on paper instead of it being verbal and poor service. What had I gotten myself into? Well when my wife and I arrived at Slyce we found the exact opposite! Except for a salad that could have been better, everything about our dinner was great! An attractively decorated, casual location with a friendly staff serving (in a reasonable amount of time) fantastically produced Artisan Pies at very non intimidating prices. Excellent spot. The half moon calzones are not to be missed. The crust is so light and the seasonings inside the ricotta & mozzarella cheeses are just so tasty. Bad customer service. Ordered pie through the website at 2 PM for 5 PM pick-up. Ready at 5:15. Arrived exactly at 5 PM. Note: no one was in the retail part of the restaurant . Knowing I was angry and that I didn't enjoy waiting, I was told by the owner that if you want something at a specific time don't use the ap-call them directly. Other owner reminded me "there's a pandemic and what's 15 minutes". Said this with his mask on his chin which he then put on correctly. I said they had plenty of time to get the timing right. Will never go back even though I've have had their pizza for some 40 years. BTW, pizza was good but there are other options in Ardsley who treat me better. Never once did they apologize for the delay or my wait which bothers me more (just got excuses). read more

We had delivery so maybe that changed the experience. We shared the wing appetizer and the veal parm. The wings were bland and rubbery. The veal was enormous so defiantly a good value, but it was just average flavor-wise. It came with an entire loaf of bread, almost like a sub roll, but no butter. Lose the attitude!!! I'll start by saying I find that the food at Slyce, while good, is overpriced. Ironically a place called Slyce refuses to take orders for slices over the phone. This past Sunday we were a told they would not sell any slices at all because they had "run out" and so we needed to purchase an entire pie or an expensive individual pizza for our 9 old. Slyce fashions itself a restaurant and does not want to be confused with a Pizzeria. So be prepared to wait if you want one slice. They would rather not sell it to you. The thing that is most troubling is the young lady who works behind the counter with dark hair with the horrible attitude. I am pretty certain her father is one of the owners and EVERY time we have been there she has a horrendous attitude and acts like she is doing us a favor. She is incredibly smug. Enough that we will not return unless we have no other options and enough for me to post on Yelp. Which I never do. read more

I really like the pizza and food at Slyce but when I went in last night at around 9:30 you guys didn't have any slices and I was told by the girl at the counter I could order a pie instead. How can you call yourself Slyce when 90 minutes before you close there are no slices available?? We went here for an after work dinner. We started with drinks. They didn't seem to have a drink menu so we had to look at the sign at the bar that was hard to read and hear the wine selection, which was kinda weird. We got 4 pies: Margarita, Clam, Parma, and fig and honey. They were all good but the parma one was our least favorite. There was too much sauce and it made the crust soggy. The others were good, but not amazing, Clam was winner. Looked like they use a gas oven which maybe is what didn't make the pizzas standout. read more

Love this neighborhood gem! It looks like a strip mall pizza place (which it kind of is, located in the strip where DeCicco's is), but in reality, it is so much more. The decor is quaint with cozy tables and exposed brick. We have tried many of the pizzas, pastas, salads, calzones, and artisan pizzas and have never gotten a bad meal. They also have a nice selection of craft beers and wines by the glass or bottle which really elevates it from your typical pizza place. My go to pizza spot. I work close by and I order from here from time to time. I have tried a lot of items on the menu but my favorite dish is the R U Nuts Pie. It has pistachio pesto, sausage and ricotta cheese. The pistachio pesto made me question the taste but the server assured me it was good and boy was he right! Aside from the food, the staff is friendly, polite and prompt. I highly recommend Slyce. read more

Quite an improvement from the previous pizzeria, even though the shopping center parking lot is awful. Slyce has more to offer than just basic pizza. Walked in on a Sunday afternoon just to try the place (wanted to for awhile). Nice, cozy space which is great when the place is empty (don't know how crowded the place might get during peak times). Seems like a great place to watch sports while trying a craft beer and eating some really great food. I had the Caesar Salad and my husband had the truffle fries. YUM! Great pizza, but insanely rude when busy. I picked up pizza this evening and a kid was at the front. He looked at me, never spoke, then the phone rang and he answered it. He got off the phone and then I asked if he was going to ackknowledge i was standing there. He never responded and then walked to the back. The other person working the front ( female ) came over to help me. I eat there all the time with my family ans live in Ardsley. We came for the first time and had been wanting to try for months. Our overall thoughts...once was a enough. The manager...not sure how he got to be a manager but has no idea about customer service. The pizza was very bland. We had 2 different kinds and they tasted the same....no flavor. The wings were good and that was about it. Can you find better....absolutely. We ordered a large plain pie and chicken tenders with fries. We waited over an hour for the food, and when we got it finally the pizza was cold and really soggy. The sauce was bland, and the crust was soggy. It was really average at best, probably below. For the "chicken tenders," they simply made a chicken cutlet and then cut it up into pieces. These are NOT chicken tenders. There's a big difference. The fries were clearly frozen and not good. Frozen fries from the supermarket are better. Overall really disappointed. Food was not good. I was surprised though bc we ordered from here once before, and the food was very good. We got the truffle fries and Mac and cheese that time and it was all really good. Not sure what happened this time but it made me not want to order from here again. Pizza was really disappointing and definitely not worth waiting over an hour for. read more

Came with the bf. Craving pizza, this was closely to work, so we figured why not? We sat at the bar. The seats are uncomfortable, not going to lie. But we were able to sit and enjoy each other company and watch the gentleman make our pizza. We had truffle fries to share which were delicious. Tossed is parm and garlic. Loved it. The pizza was HUGE. The bf and I got the small, which is larger than a pizza hut large. They advertise their slices are a slice and a half. Honestly it is like 2 slices. I really enjoyed the pizza we had, we have chicken, bacon and peppers. The peppers were chopped up really small which is one thing I wasn't a fan of. But (this part was our fault) we sat under the only fan in the place and our pizza got cold faster than if we sat on the dining tables. It wasn't a big deal, but by the time we were done with our first slice, the second slice was warm. Just an odd thing we noticed. I enjoyed the pizza, since they are known for predominantly that, I don't think I'd try anything else. But I do think this pizza would be fun to grab for a group because the slices are definately huge and worth a conversation. I liked it, do plan on coming back. read more
