    Small Veggie Pizza

Slyce is a beautiful restaurant tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The interior is beautifully designed, with wood furniture and seating throughout the restaurant. There are both large tables and a bar seating area. The pizza here is delicious - I tried their veggie pizza, which was covered with fresh veggies including peppers, mushrooms, onions, and olives. The pizza came out piping hot once I arrived, with a thin and chewy crust. There are a lot of other food and craft beer options here as well!

The service was partial. We were not greeted or given menus... the food was good tho‍ Place was clean and nice ambiance.

Have been going here for years. They probably have one of the best buffalo chicken and meat lovers pizza I've ever had. That's the only reason I'm giving them 3 stars. Not sure what happened but ordered two buffalo chicken slices and it was just a regular pizza with buffalo chicken on top. Maybe I didn't know they changed their recipe? But very disappointed. Also the person in the front seems incompetent. Had to give him the order several times and he still got it wrong.

    Now that's a pizza!!

This place! I have always been a sucker for NY pizza but I'm usually stuck getting a half warmed slice somewhere where in the city. When we walked in it was absolutely freezing in there!! The guy came asked why I didn't tell him I was cold and turned down the air. Ok back to the pizza. We ordered half pepperoni and all mushroom. It was absolutely delicious. Not only was I hungry but I was just plain greedy . I will definitely be back in October when I return to Ardsley. I just wanted to add that Everyone was so nice!!

I called in the morning to make a reservation for a Friday early afternoon. Nobody returned my call after an hour and a half so I tried calling again. Someone answered and took my reservation for 2. There's plenty of parking around the property, but I really wouldn't suggest visiting when they're busy (weekends, autumn). Pamela and Lauren were serving the wines and took care of everyone. They wanted to ensure everybody got wines that enjoyed. We weren't crazy about too many of the wines, but did find a couple we liked. We really enjoyed the Rkatsiteli wine and bought 3 bottles. You can't bring food from outside into the experience, but you can purchase food from the farm's market. We got some port cheese spread and breadsticks. The market charges a 2 percent credit card fee, but the wine tasting room doesn't charge a fee. If you reserve at least 48 hours in advance, you can purchase charcuterie boxes. The only suggestion I have for improvement is to provide some water during the tasting experience. This is typical at wineries as tasters want to cleanse their palates and glasses.

The farm itself has a really nice petting zoo for the kids and the market food is really good. The woman at the front of the Tomasello winery room was rude and condescending. When she found out we were walk-ins, she mocked us mimicking a rotary phone telling us that we needed to call for a reservation because it was a Saturday and they were very busy. There were multiple seats open and she did agree to sit us. While there, multiple other walk-ins were also seated. The wine itself was not my taste. It was overly sweet or tasted watered down. I honestly struggled to finish the tasting. My feelings were shared by the other 4 people in my group. In summary, the atmosphere was enjoyable, the front desk lady was rude, the wine was not my taste, but the GF donuts in the market were amazing. The tasting was $16. You received 6 tastings about an ounce and a free wine glass.

I've only purchased pails of juice from them to make wine and have done this for 3 years now. I'm glad I found them because I was tired of the chaos scene at my usual place in Clifton. Prospero let's you pre-order your juice and schedule a pickup time. Very convenient and no stress about wondering what grapes or juice they'll have in stock. They take cash or check. Any credit card use will incur a fee. One person who answers the phone definitely has a bit of a tone, but the girls at the register/pickup area have always been friendly. The guys who being out my juice and load into the vehicle have also always been nice. They do sell more than juice and grapes as the guy in front of my just bought two big bags of walnuts. You can also do tastings or purchase their other lines of products. The minimally 9 reviews that exist on Yelp at the time of this review are carefully representative of the volume of customers that have. Despite a relatively low rating, maybe give them a chance.

If you say I should have over looked my crates before I purchased you may be right but there system prevents you from doing so until you unload them yourself. Aquila's gives a 30-minute grace period, which helped since the area gets very dark at night and the roads are narrow. I knew ahead of time there would be a lobster food truck and a live salsa band. When you arrive, you check in with the hostess, though there's no clear hostess stand since she's stationed at the end of the bar. The inside was crowded with no available seats, but we weren't there for the band anyway. Our igloo had a heater, but two would've been ideal. They recommend bringing a blanket, which I forgot, but it wasn't too cold--around the high 40s. We tried the "Sweet Wine Flight," which included Sparkling Rosé, Moscato, and white and red wine slushies. The white wine slushy was my favorite. It started raining while we were there, and everyone with fire pits cleared out, so I was extra glad we chose an igloo. They offered a cheese box, but it looked too small, so we stuck to drinks. Our server was polite and brought everything out quickly. Reservations give you two hours, and we had a great time. I like the variety of reservation options they offer. For suggestions: it would be nice to have a real charcuterie board instead of tiny cheese and veggie boxes. The indoor space could also be larger, especially for people coming for the live band, and there are no seats around the bar. Overall, though, it's a cozy spot, and I enjoyed the experience.
