They did an extremely thorough inspection, making observations that demonstrate the expertise of this company. I did get a second bid on gutters from a different company and they missed two issues that Tyson had pointed out during his inspection. Tyson's quote arrived the next day. It was fair and straightforward and he quickly worked to accommodate a change in material at our request. He was able to install the new gutters the week after our confirmation to proceed. Installation took two days. On day two, we got hit with a lot of rain that hadn't been previously forecasted. Tyson and his crew, unprompted by us, showed up EARLY in the morning to complete the installation while getting soaked. Awesome dedication! I originally thought I would install my own rain gutters on my home but I am so glad that I decided to call Tyson for a bid. He gave me a very reasonable quote and I was able to also choose the color and type of rain gutter I would be getting from a booklet of samples he left me. I have never spoken to anyone so fucking rude. I was told "I call every spring and fall." NOT TRUE. I haven't called them in years because they used to tell me they were too busy. I had non-pros clean my gutters for the last 4 years. However, now I have a serious problem that has lead to major erosion. This time (Their link doesn't work.) It took multiple calls and I think they answered accidentally. This is a local company, yet I was told I live "Too far out." I felt like a kid being yelled at. Last time I checked, my money is the same as anyone else's. I was told to take photos. You can't tell what is wrong unless it is raining..assholes. Try ANYONE else. These good reviews must be from friends. It's a gutter company!! It doesn't take a genius to do a good job. "Awesome" ?? I agree with Jeff's review.. and then some. There are no words for how awesome Tyson and his crew are. We have a 4000+ sq foot home with multiple bump-outs and levels sitting on a sloped property. The gutters were at least 25 years old when we bought the house last year and were in terrible shape. Tyson gave us a very reasonable estimate and stayed to it. I contacted SLV Raingutters in no small part due to the rave reviews. My experience, however, was extremely disappointing. After a series of voicemails, Tyson and I finally spoke on July 7. He could not set a time to meet at my house in Santa Cruz until 21 July, which we agreed to, and he showed up as scheduled. After inspecting our needs, he said he would come back with a quote "in about a week." After a week had passed with no communications, I phoned repeatedly, four or five different times, always leaving messages, and never did he return the calls. Finally today August 15, over seven weeks since I first contacted him, he texted simply that he would not take the job. I understand that people get busy, but going silent is not only bad business, it is insulting to a customer. I only give him the second star because he showed up to inspect the house as promised.
