Excellent experience with SLV Raingutters. They came out to bid the job quickly, bid was lower than other bids we received. They removed our rain gutters, gave us time to paint fascias, returned to finish the job right away, installing rain gutters and downspouts. Work was well done, friendly to work with. We are pleased and recommend them. read more

Quick response time but was met with rude, short, and dismissive person on the phone. When I described my situation (very clearly) he insisted I send pictures. So I sent pictures dimensions and any helpful information I could gather (something most contractors would do themselves when requesting a quote). He simply texted back "I'll pass because there's no roof access". First off it came off rude just the way he came off over the phone. More importantly there is roof access it's just not super easy. I myself and other crews have simply laid board down over plastic roofing to have access. Also the ground is mostly flat down below too it's just high up. Honestly it seems like it would be a pretty simple job for an experienced gutter team. This company is supposed to be servicing the mountains where many properties have way more difficult access to their gutters. Anyway I do appreciate the quick response time so I can hire a more experienced gutter team who can handle a pretty basic gutter project. read more

SLV Raingutters is at my house right now doing metal gutters and guards. The work is perfect! I am so pleased! I am so thankful they are as good as recommended here in these reviews. 5 stars indeed! read more

My outdoor shower needed a roof. I had been looking for someone to give me a sheet metal roof and was not having luck. Good thing I found SLV Raingutters. Tyson is an artist with copper with an eye for design. He gave me better, than I could visualize myself. A copper roof. Just look at these photos. As it turns out SLV Raingutters did the cooper gutters on a property, I manage as well. Those gutters look great as well. Great service and best price. If you need custom cooper work or gutters call SLV Gutters & RTS Sheetmetal and Copper Works. read more

When I needed rain gutters for my house in Boulder Creek, I called a few companies, received a bid from one then thought I would like to keep my business local. After hearing back from SLV, I put my name on the waiting list since it was/is their busy season. We texted back and forth for some time until I was at the top of the list. We figured out a day and time and they showed up early and did the best job. Tyson has 25 years in this business and knows his stuff. His other installer John was very friendly, super helpful and they powered out the job in no time. They definitely exceeded my expectations and I would refer them to anyone. Thanks Tyson and John for taking great care of us. Really appreciate it. read more

Best work. Best service Best price. From the answering the phone, to the estimate, to the selection of colors, to the removal of the old gutters and the installation of the new system everything was perfect. In this competitive market, it's good to see local craftsman with a passion for the highest quality service. Highly recommend. read more

I think most of us know how hard it is to find professional tradespeople that show up on time or just show up! You won't have that problem with Tyson. We're so glad we chose him to do our gutters. Tyson even came one day sooner, on a hot day and took the old gutters off so he could get started first thing the following day putting our new gutters on. Who does that anymore? We can't recommend him enough! read more

Super simple and easy - Left a voicemail for Tyson - he headed out to my property later in the week (I wasn't even around), gave a quote - I authorized via text, he completed the work the next week and emailed a receipt. Super simply transaction! read more

Attention to detail and offering solutions to our home's gutter challenges really made a difference! Here in the Santa Cruz mountains, where we get some pretty good storms, and the Redwoods make a big mess, it really matters to have someone who understands our area! They also identified and fixed a problem under our back deck so as to prevent erosion in the future! The finished product looks really nice too! They were fun, professional and considerate of others. SLV Raingutters did a great job, we are very pleased! read more

This was an ideal business experience. Tyson and the boys at SLV raingutters are professional, prompt, and talented. Tyson showed up as expected, provided a reasonable quote, answered our many, many questions and fit us into their busy schedule (I believe we live quite a ways from their normal work area). For the replacement, he and his team showed up on time the day we expected them. They replaced the gutters quickly and quietly, cleaned up after themselves and we had new gutters up and a perfect yard in time for Halloween trick-or-treaters that same night. It's been raining cats and dogs and the gutters are working great! read more

100% recommend SLV Raingutters. I called Tyson for a quote on new gutters for the entire house and he and his super friendly, trustworthy crew came by the same day. They did an extremely thorough inspection, making observations that demonstrate the expertise of this company. I did get a second bid on gutters from a different company and they missed two issues that Tyson had pointed out during his inspection. Tyson's quote arrived the next day. It was fair and straightforward and he quickly worked to accommodate a change in material at our request. He was able to install the new gutters the week after our confirmation to proceed. Installation took two days. On day two, we got hit with a lot of rain that hadn't been previously forecasted. Tyson and his crew, unprompted by us, showed up EARLY in the morning to complete the installation while getting soaked. Awesome dedication! We are super happy with the new gutters and kind of amazed by how stress-free the whole thing was (for us). read more

Tyson and Terry are the best! Easy to do business with, professional, friendly, and they know their stuff. They offered very helpful advice in general and specifically on drain location and rain chains. I have one stunningly beautiful copper gutter! Thank you! read more

Same experience as Nick, left messages for a couple of week. He finally called and came out to give we an estimate in a week. I called back two weeks later and was told that he did not want the job. read more

There are no words for how awesome Tyson and his crew are. We have a 4000+ sq foot home with multiple bump-outs and levels sitting on a sloped property. The gutters were at least 25 years old when we bought the house last year and were in terrible shape. Tyson gave us a very reasonable estimate and stayed to it. He also was very flexible about a couple of changes we thought of as he was mid-job. On top of everything else, he's super nice and a pleasure to do business with. For anyone in the SL Valley, Tyson is by far your best bet for gutters. He really knows this valley well and all the ins and outs of working with homes here. Thank you, Tyson! read more

I originally thought I would install my own rain gutters on my home but I am so glad that I decided to call Tyson for a bid. He gave me a very reasonable quote and I was able to also choose the color and type of rain gutter I would be getting from a booklet of samples he left me. Tyson and his crew came and installed the gutters and they are a big improvement from what I had before. Also he completed the job quite quickly. Would highly recommend his services to anyone in the area. Be sure to plan in advance because I think these guys get a lot of business. read more

I have never spoken to anyone so fucking rude. I was told "I call every spring and fall." NOT TRUE. I haven't called them in years because they used to tell me they were too busy. I had non-pros clean my gutters for the last 4 years. However, now I have a serious problem that has lead to major erosion. This time (Their link doesn't work.) It took multiple calls and I think they answered accidentally. This is a local company, yet I was told I live "Too far out." I felt like a kid being yelled at. Last time I checked, my money is the same as anyone else's. I was told to take photos. You can't tell what is wrong unless it is raining..assholes. Try ANYONE else. These good reviews must be from friends. It's a gutter company!! It doesn't take a genius to do a good job. "Awesome" ?? I agree with Jeff's review.. and then some. I also think that the person who said the live far away will never get them to come back. Fuck them. read more

Wow, 100% Satisfied!! A quick note to anyone looking to get replacement rain gutters. Mine were in terrible shape, well past needing complete replacement. I contacted 3 companies & totally lucked out to select Tyson with SLV Raingutters. I rec'd an extremely competitive bid (a couple hundred $$$ less than his competitors) and was THRILLED with the work Tyson and his crew did for the house. He arrived on time was very courteous & listened to his customer, asking what I wanted, worked with me to be sure it was exactly as I envisioned. Tyson's work is perfect, spotless and all completed in a single day. I am 100% satisfied and would heartily recommend Tyson to anyone. On time, very decent price and done in less than a day..I appreciated their work and it feels great to recommend "hand's down" SLV Raingutters. read more

Professional, on time, honest, and quick. They even cleaned out the gutters that they worked on at no extra charge. A great service for a great price. I was very happy with my experience with SLV Raingutters. I would definitely recommend them and will keep them on my personal home maintenance call list. read more

On time, fast quality work and the right team to get it done. I was impressed. Thanks Tyson.

Tyson and his crew were great. He provided a reasonable quote and completed the work promptly. The work showed great craftsmanship and attention to detail. Nice people, too. read more

They showed up when they said they would, did a fantastic job on our rambling house, cleaned up spic and span and we are 100% happy with the finished job and its price. The other companies' bids were not even close, and my wife and I didn't like the "take it or leave it" attitude that seemed to be emblematic of other gutter companies we called. I would recommend them to anyone, any time - with no hesitation. read more

This is a top quality business. Tyson Sheppard was reliable, honest and he provided us with top quality gutters. Tyson was at our home for the estimate and for the installation so he knew what we wanted. In addition, while looking at our property, he gave us THE solution for our drainage problem. We consulted with two landscapers and drainage experts and Tyson's idea was the best. I highly recommend SLV Rain Gutters. read more

Tyson and team are as good as can be. They came out to do some repair work and noticed that the slope wasn't good enough for drainage so they fixed that problem too. They came out when promised and their prices are more than reasonable. Great company to do business with. read more

I contacted SLV Raingutters in no small part due to the rave reviews. My experience, however, was extremely disappointing. After a series of voicemails, Tyson and I finally spoke on July 7. He could not set a time to meet at my house in Santa Cruz until 21 July, which we agreed to, and he showed up as scheduled. After inspecting our needs, he said he would come back with a quote "in about a week." After a week had passed with no communications, I phoned repeatedly, four or five different times, always leaving messages, and never did he return the calls. Finally today August 15, over seven weeks since I first contacted him, he texted simply that he would not take the job. I understand that people get busy, but going silent is not only bad business, it is insulting to a customer. I only give him the second star because he showed up to inspect the house as promised. Otherwise, it was a complete waste of time. read more

Tyson of SLV Raingutters did a great job of listening to what we wanted and didn't want to replace our 40+ year old rain gutters. I ask a lot of questions. He explained the different choices we had, and the pros and cons of each. He was honest about one side of existing gutters not being in need of replacement, and we appreciated the savings. The old gutters came down and the new ones up in a day. After the first rain, we needed a minor tweaking of one joint. Called Tyson who promptly swung by and adjusted it. Perfect! We highly recommend SLV Raingutters. read more
